  1. 1) I'm a big fan of Rock/Alternative rock. More specifically, if you delve into Stoner Rock. Pretty much anything under the Stoner Rock genre is my fuckin jam. I'm also pretty into folk, but probably not as much as Stoner Rock.
  2.
  3. 2) Queens of the Stone Age's "Everybody Knows That You're Insane". That song is a perfect embodiment of how you should write a rock song. Really epic intro, hard rock the rest of the song, it's amazing.
  4.
  5. 3) This is pretty tough. Honestly, I really like the album art from The Decemberists "Castaways and Cutouts", so I think I'm gonna give it honourable mention, but I think Nine Inch Nails' "Hesitation Marks", especially the special edition, has one of those "can't stop staring at this" qualities to it, so I'm gonna say that one.
  6.
  7. 4) I actually don't listen to a lot of video game music, which seems to be somewhat out of the norm for someone in the speedrunning community. That being said, a good "Video Game Metal Cover" is "Streets of Whiterun" from Skyrim by CSGuitar89 and RichaadEB. Super epic song and I highly recommend blasting it as loud as you can.
  8.
  9. 5) The Dead Weather's "Dodge and Burn". I listened to this song a shit ton like a year and a bit ago and honestly it just sounds really bad to me now. People say Jack White is a genius, but honestly, a lot of it I just don't see. He seems to basically be a tool for the sake of being a tool.
  10.
  11. 6) This isn't really a "Stoner Rock" album, more like a Stoner album, but Mac Demarco's "Another One" EP is really chill and just really great to get you into some more mellow, combo of folk and rock songs.
  12.
  13. 7) Villains of Circumstance and Fortress of Queens of the Stone Age's "Villains" album that came out literally 5 days ago. Also, Sufjan Stevens' "Mars" off Planetarium, The Grey King and the Silver Flame Attunement off The Mountain Goats' Goths, and The Background World off Nine Inch Nails' "Add Violence".
  14.
  15. 8) Overexposure by Zuckerbaby. This song still gets played every once in a while and it takes me back every time, great song. My parents used to listen to this song all the time. This, and Horse with No Name by America because we used to listen to this on road trips, reminds me of a place when I was like 4 or 5 that we stopped at and I almost got lost and froze.
