Fusion-X Gimmick Idea: Armaments

Armaments: Inspired by Skurd’s abilities from Ben 10 Omniverse, Armaments allow Fusion-X to create and utilize powerful weapons, tools and armor created from the “Source Code” (A.K.A. energy) of other Merge Modes known as Armaments to use while transformed as a different Merge Mode and in some cases, simply use the limbs/weapons/traits of a Merge Mode in conjunction with another Merge Mode he is currently transformed as such as using Sonic Mode’s Sonic Blasters and Sonic Discs while as Magnetic Mode or using Might Merge’s arms while as Skinny Mode. With his Armament ability, Fusion-X can create many, many, many different forms of Merge Mode-powered weaponry imbued with the powers and traits of said Merge Modes such as using a Sword and Shield made from Crystalline Mode while as Sir X or create armor made from Draconic Mode that empowers Lucha Mode with Draconic’s power and might. The possibilities of what kind of Armaments Fusion-X can create is limited only by his imagination! Fusion-X can also use Armaments as his Base Mode. Fusion-X can also control the properties of his Armaments such as increase the size of an Armament, create more than one of the same Armament, charge up an Armament’s energy for a super powerful attack etc. Nicholas can even use Armaments in human form by having Alloy transform himself completely into an Armament of Nicholas’ choosing, albeit a lesser powered version of said Armament (I would say about half as powerful, maybe a little less).

Drawbacks: Fusion-X can only use one type of Armament at a time (but can create more than one of the same Armament as stated before), using multiple Armaments at once can overwhelm Fusion-X physically and mentally due to the energy of multiple Merge Modes clashing with another and reeking havoc on Fusion-X’s system, however it’s possible that Fusion-X can learn how to handle the energy of multiple Merge Modes at once and thus can use multiple Armaments but only if he trains himself to do so. Also, Fusion-X may need proper training in using certain weaponry such as swords in order to properly use an Armament while as a Merge Mode that doesn’t have weaponry knowledge programmed in already such as in the case of Sir X or Archery Mode. Fusion-X also cannot use Armaments while using Plus Modes or Xros Modes for the same reasons as stated before and he also cannot create Armaments created from a Merge Mode he is currently transformed as. Alloy cannot create Armaments by himself as he needs Nichola’s energy and human capacity for imagination to create them but he can transform into an Armament himself when in close proximity to Nicholas as stated before. Fusion-X also cannot create Armaments from Plus Modes or Xros Modes. Fusion-X also cannot create multiple different types of Armaments with the same Merge Mode, once Fusion-X has created an Armament, that Armament becomes integrated into that Merge Mode’s code and Fusion-X/Alloy’s systems, making every Armament Fusion-X creates unique to that Merge Mode, he however can still spawn and mix/match Merge Mode limbs to his discretion. Not every Merge Mode can be made into an Armament, some non-compatible Merge Modes include Base Mode, Useless Mode and Link Mode. Normally, Fusion-X cannot give others Armaments to allies as only he can handle the immense power they possess, being an entire Merge Mode forged into a weapon he is however capable of giving others the ability to use Armaments via Link Mode as Link Mode allows others to use the powers, traits and limbs of Merge Modes so naturally, this would include Armaments as well!

What’s Source Code?: This is pure speculation on how Fusion-X transforms into Merge Modes on my part as I’m not sure of the specifics of how it works but the idea here is that all of Fusion-X’s Merge Modes are programmed into Alloy to begin with and like all computer programs, the Merge Modes consists of code, code that Alloy and Nicholas use to transform into Merge Modes. After discovering the ability to create Armaments, Nicholas can use the Source Codes of Merge Modes to create Armaments by shaping the code and Fusion-X’s own matter to create said weapon/armor/construct that uses the powers of said Merge Mode. This is also how Fusion-X can spawn and turn his limbs into the limbs of other Merge Modes, taking the Source Code of the Merge Mode in question to use a part of it while transformed as another Merge Mode.

    1. I love the idea i mean it should like link merge mode but he can only allow unmerged nicholas use the powers of other modes but this here allow modes use the abilities of other modes.

      1. The main idea behind Armaments is the creation of weaponry made from the energy and matter of Merge Modes that use the abilities and traits of said Merge Modes. Again, a lot like what Skurd did in Omniverse but yes the Armament ability can allow Fusion-X to use the limbs and weapons of other Merge Modes as a Merge Mode or even as Nicholas himself, kinda like how Skurd gave Humoungasaur Armodrillo’s arm that one time.

      1. I imagine them looking a lot like Gecko Moria’s giant pair of scissors that are capable of being detached to use the blades as dual-wielded weapons much like Gecko Moria’s and are black and white in coloration. Also, because Armaments are imbued with the powers and traits of the Merge Modes they are created from, the Ninja Scissors would actually use the powers of Light and Shadows for extra powerful cutting/slashing attacks and are typically used as a very swift and fast weapon, especially if Fusion-X uses them as a very fast Merge Mode such as Acceleration Merge.

      1. I was thinking. If you decide to incorporate Armaments and my ideas for Armaments you should have the Merge Mode bios say what Armament is associated with said Merge Modes, for example.

      1. I would say so yes, you could make it so that Link Mode gives Fusion-X the capability of letting others use Armaments, like maybe retcon Link Mode from being able to make constructs as one of it’s abilities and instead just give it the capability of letting others use Armaments as well as the other things Link Mode can do. Like up until Fusion-X discovered the Armament ability Link Mode could only bestow the powers/limbs/traits to others and not create constructs but can now give others the capability of using Armaments as only Fusion-X can use Armaments.

      1. 1. I would say the Armaments use 70% of the original Merge’s power. But Fusion-X could theoretically concentrate the remaining 30% of a Merge Mode’s power into his Armaments to use the full power of a Merge Mode as an Armament if he trains himself to do so.

    1. Hey i have an idea of armaments for all of the titan series merged modes: powerful amulet necklaces that are a link to the modes' energy to give the wear the power of an titan up to 80% of it's power instead of 70% (similar to the alpha rune of 5YL).
