  31. _______________________________
  32.
  33. hello!
  34.
  35. Welcome to "Humble, humble, humble beginnings..."
  36.
  37. Where I show up on stream with a completely unprepared run. Just recently caught some kind of head-bug or something and developed genuine interest for this "true ending" 120% thing! Funny 'cos it first was discovered- what, years ago? Seeing Dayo frig with it recently inspired me.
  38.
  39. Background:
  40. Discovered a while back was a way to enter Gnastys Loot early. FROM LIKE SNAKING UNDERNEATH THE GROUND. It's wild. I want to say almost immediately it was pretty unanimous in the speedscene that this would -not- take the place of the 120% category, but instead cement itself as an extra category WHICH I will say could or even should be debatable since 120% is achieved according to the game, despite not actually collecting all the collectibles. However I should clarify my stance as I think it's a good idea this is the misc category, and 120% (full collection) remains 120%.
  41.
  42. For now it seems it's being referred to as "true ending" while being joked about as something more like "fake ending"
  43.
  44. But the politics aside,....
  45.
  46. What's this category like? The way I see it, it's actually a bit of a fusion of any% and 120%. In fact very much so. AFAIK, all that is required to "achieve" 120% is to exit the Loot vortex with 14,000/14,000 gems. The check for dragons and eggs doesn't exist I guess. So what does this run look like?
  47.
  48. All gems. No exceptions. But otherwise, opening the Loot dragon head by having 14,000/14,000, 80/80, and 12/12 is no longer necessary. So all that remains is the balloonist requirements, like any%.
  49.
  50. _______________________
  51. Meaning of the 12 eggs we can skip 7. You just need 5 to travel from MC to Beast. My estimation is this'll save ~5 seconds. That might be a lowball.
  52. StoneH, TownSq, PeaceK home, DryC, CliffT, Magic Craf home (2), Alpine, High Caves (2), Wiz Peak (2).
  53.
  54. My current skeletal-forming route goes with these 5 eggs: Alpine, both High Caves, TownSq, and the first Magic Craf.
  55.
  56. We can skip at least 29 dragons! Maybe 30 but that's a headscratcher. But more interestingly is that just like any%, there are 57 dragons available before the balloonist requirement from BM-->DW of 50. So it's not only skipping late game dragons, but also a select 7 early game ones, resembling any% even more.
  57.
  58. My route currently skips 28 though! Presuming that a death abuse twilight harbor is still faster than a completely non death-abusing one, even with the added time of freeing the dragon.
  59.
  60. Dragons, it's honestly tough to say. I like to say each one will save between 5 and 6 seconds but honestly that might just be another lowball. Some depending on precisely how much you no longer have to go out of the way could even save closer to 7s or more, PER! Let's take the average and say 6s per dragon. That's 2m48s saved, straight up.
  61.
  62. MINUS the time it takes to actually perform the trick at the end. (I would guess assuming first try like 10 seconds.) AS WELL AS, a death abuse at the start of loot for Sparx (probably like 7 seconds?)
  63. But also minus an additional bunch (maybe 15-20) if Loot becomes the FIRST or at least the "not last" level that you enter, entering it, and then exiting, to be able to enter it again at the end! BUT ANOTHER THING-if you do that, for sake of sanity/not leaving the hardest sh*t for the VERY end, then you'd at least regain 7 seconds by NOT having to death abuse at the start of loot, since you'd re-enter later and have Sparx already.
  64.
  65. TL;DR
  66. Saves ~0:05 [eggs], ~2:48(++??) [dragons] /// LOSES in Case A [Cove,TH,G's,Loot] ~0:10 + ~0:07[death abuse] or in Case B [ratprox,Loot-->leave,Cove,TH,G's,Loot(already open)] probably around idfk- ~0:30? OR Case C [dragon,Cove,TH skip/toothroll,Loot-->leave,TH,G's,Loot] OR EVEN, Case D [dragon,Cove,TH skip/toothroll,G's,Loot-->leave,TH,Loot] all of these again probably netting something like 30s lost leaving (drum roll please) for something in the range of 02:53-0:17=02:36 saved, or in all other cases about 02:53-0:30=02:23 saved.

  69. The reality is, this run is still young, remaining in my view the Final Frontier of the game, and I can almost assure you, my numbers are not fully mature either and even my best guesses and estimations at this point will hold inaccuracies. As a safe-ish bet and a non-quotable number though, I'm saying it's fair to say this is 2 and a half minutes time to potentially save vs. traditional 120%.
  70.
  71.
  72. Did I mention I'll be doing runs w/o the faintest idea how to even do the trick at the end? Humble, humble beginnings. For now just curious to see what the first 5 worlds are like. Dragonless dream weavers sounds pretty tight

    5. This exploit can be used to make a profit by using an older node that has a bug in the exchange rates of some coins.

    7. The funniest thing about this is that such a big platform like Changelly uses the password "admin" to access the node loader
