  1. *Nolem submerged himself into the pool of water, allowing it to swallow him whole. As he sunk to the bottom in a slow descent, the many violent thoughts that usually plagued his mind began to evaporate from his consciousness, allowing it to become temporarily burdenless.
  2.
  3. Unnecessary thoughts hindered his fighting capabilities by a lot. Signals that were normally sent into the muscles would take split seconds of time to be processed and executed. He theorized that if he could concentrate his mind onto a focal point then his actions in combat would be more of a reaction of instinct than thought.
  4.
  5. As he finally reached the bottom of the pond, nothing but blackwater and white sand surrounded him. All of his senses were nulled at such a great depth yet this didn't seem to bother him. Taking a fighting stance, he waited for his inner demons to come out.
  6.
  7. Mental stimulations that had transparent bodies slowly began to make an appearance from the depths of the blackwater and lunged at the defenseless Nolem. These stimulations were symbolic representations of the thoughts that plagued the core of his very mind and hindered his fighting capabilities. Their names followed as:
  8.
  9. Superiority complex, Loneliness, Rage, and Fear of being inferior.
  10.
  11. Each of these mental stimulations attacked Nolem altogether, intending for them to force their will upon Nolem. Of course, Nolem couldn't do anything towards the barrage of attacks except take them head-on.
  12.
  13. Blows rained ruin onto his chitin body, causing them to be inflicted with whatever they embodied. A bombardment of emotions filled the hopeless Nolem as he thrashed about within the depths of the pond. This is where his trials would truly begin.
  14.
  15. This mental trial was a difficult one as he demanded the individual to have a clear mind even in the midst of bombardment.*
