This outlines an ongoing scam known as the Google Verified Listing SCAM.  It targets small businesses.  These folks will call your business number but don't leave a message.  This is similar to the vehicle warranty SCAM.  When you return the call, you will hear something like this:

Thanks for calling us back.  We've been trying to reach you regarding your Google My Business listing.

Our records show your listing is either not verified or missing important information keeping your customers from finding you.

Please press 1 now so we can verify your Google My Business Listing.

If you are the business owner, press 1 now.

If your account is not verified, customers searching for your services on Google may not find your listing.

Press 1 now to verify your listing.

Press 2 and Verified Listings will remove you from this list.
