  1. Mystic Archetype: Soul Sage

  4. Soul Sages use their knowledge of the forces of the universe to control their inner power.
  5. Eschewing weapons, the Soul Sage mixes powerful blasts of energy with martial maneuvers, resembling War Mages more than Warriors.

  7. Pre-requistie:Must have Access to the Elemental Flux Discipline or have an Active Energy Type.

  9. Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Soul Sage loses proficiency with Martial Weapons, Katanas, and Wazikashis and all shields. This alters the Mystics default weapon and armor proficiency.

  11. Disciplines:The Soul Sage loses access to the Mithral Current Discipline, and gains access to the Cursed Razor Discipline. The Soul Sages initiation modifier is intelligence.

  13. Restrained Power:The Soul is capable of consciously controlling their arcane power with their knowledge of the Arcane, Psionic, or other worldly forces.
  14. The Soul Sage uses their Intelligence in place of their Wisdom Modifier for all Mystic Class abilities.
  15. However, The Soul Sage has 2 less Maneuvers known and Readied at each level compared to normal Mystics

  17. Instead of letting their power run wild, the Mystic channels their inner power using controlled method and readjusts their reservoir of eldritch energy. As a full-round action, the Mystic can recovers their initiation modifier in maneuvers(min 2).

  20. Mystic Blast:The Soul Sages mastery of the elements allows them to dish out a variety of elemental attacks on the fly. At the first level. When the Soul Sage has one hand free, they can manifest a blast of arcane energy known as a Mystic Blast as a ranged touch attack with a range of 60 feet that deals 1d6 damage of a type equal to their active element.
  21. This damage increases by 1d6 on every odd Mystic level. The Mystic can attack with their Mystic Blast as many times as their BaB and feats allows. A Soul Sage's Mystic Blast are considered weapons for the purpose of weapon feats, but cannot be recreated with any spell power or effect. The Soul Sage does not provoke attacks of opportunity when firing his mystic blast. In addition, they can change their active element as a free action when making the attack.
  22. If the Mystic does not change their active element with this ability, they add their Int mod to the attack and damage roll of the blast in addition to gaining a bonus affect. The mystic can spend one animus point to gain the bonus effect, but not the attack bonus.

  25. >Electricity, target receives a -1d4 penalty to all attack rolls for 1 round. For each time the enemy is hit with a blast of this type in a single round, extend the duration of the penalty by 1.
  26. >Earth/Acid, target receives a -1d4 penalty to AC and CMD for 1 round. For each time the enemy is hit with a blast of this type in a single round, extend the duration of the penalty by 1.
  27. These blasts are considered thrown weapons for the purpose of feats and Discipline weapon groups.
  28. Finally, when the Mystic initiates martial strike or counter, it deals 1d6 damage for every Mystic level possessed and all of the damage dealt is converted to the mystics active energy type.
