Proxy Server

(Please read my instructions and orders carefully, don't skip or run out of orders decisively.)
1. Set up the Squid Proxy Server for caching and control the internet access.
2. This assignment will set 2 client for windows and 1 for Squide server (linux).
3. For clients we call client1 and client2. The client1 use windowsXP, and client2 use windows7.
4. Set Public access to eth0 and Set Private network to eth1 of Linux Server.
5. Set the private IP to client1 and client2 without gateway. (It should not be accessing to the internet) (1)
6. Verify that your windows client cannot access to the internet
7. At Squide server, configure file squid.conf by set the port to 3128.
8. Set the Access Control List (ACL) for allow your private IP class. (2)
9. Config your browser of client1 and client2 for used the proxy server with port 3128. (3)
10. Verify that your windows client1 and client2 should be accessing to the internet through squid server. (4)
11. Verify that Proxy server already store the user request and content to its cache. (Show your log) (5)
12. Set the proxy password at Squid server. (6)
13. Verify that client1 and client2 can be accessing to the internet after types the password. (7)
