  1. Hi, putting this in a pastebin because I don't have enough space to put it in a tweet.
  2.
  3. I want to preface this by saying I'm sorry to hear that you're planning to leave twitch. I enjoy your stream and know that at night if I'm looking for a laugh, your stream is one of the best places to go because it almost always delivers.
  4.
  5. Now the kinda mean part.
  6.
  7. You're saying twitch is a place full of desperate people trying to make their dreams come true and that it's 'not about video games anymore.' I don't think this is the case at all, and I think you're being a bit close-minded by saying it. Yes, there are people who make a living off of twitch by doing sneaky things and sucking up to people. But I believe that it is a tiny portion of the people who are full time on twitch.
  8.
  9. Looking at 4 full time streamers, SnarfyBobo, 360Chrism, FiFi and iateyourpie. All 4 of them are full time on twitch and make their living as broadcasters. You said that it's impossible to succeed on twitch without "using people, kissing ass, having an ego, etc" to quote you directly. I would argue that not a single one of these streamers have ever done any of those. They play video games, talk to chat and streamed for a LONG time without a single paycheck. And I personally believe that if you took a sample of 100 people who are successful on twitch, the same would hold true for 99 of them.
  10.
  11. I am not writing this to criticize you in any way, I am writing this because I believe it's unfair of you to say that every successful streamer has grown in such a negative way. If they started out streaming with just the intention of making money, I guarantee you that they would not be full time casters today; there are far better choices of careers if that's all you care about, and they would not be nearly as successful as they are.
  12.
  13. I hope that you find your true passion buffdaddy, I've gotten to know you somewhat well recently and I see you as a wonderful person with a bright future, you just need to figure out what you want that future to be. I'll be sad to see your stream go, and I wish you all the best.
  14.
