Shinchū Merge was built to defeat a being like Black Hat, he is a demon after all and Shinchū Merge is designed to be the ultimate demon counter. The battle could end with Shinchū Merge literally devouring Black Hat alive after sufficiently beating him down, leaving behind only his hat. Dementia comedically bursts into tears while embracing Black Hat’s hat while 5.0.5. tries to comfort her and Dr. Flug celebrates, being finally free of Black Hat once and for all. However, Fusion-X still as Shinchū Merge complains of a stomach ache before hacking up what looks like a little black octopus. Turns out, this “octopus” is actually Black Hat!, still alive but now reduced to a pitifully weak form due to Shinchū Mode’s divine stomach juices reducing him to a weakened state, one with a comically high pitched voice no less. Dementia is relieved and gushes over how adorable Black Hat is and Dr. Flug is despondent. Black Hat threatens Fusion-X and tells him he’ll rain hellish fury on him for what he has done to him but he can’t take him seriously anymore due to how high pitched and squeaky his voice has become. Furious and embarrassed at this teenaged hero laughing at him (most likely a first for him), Black Hat demands Dementia and Flug to take him back to headquarters so that he can regenerate in peace.

Aside from Shinchū Merge, Buddha Merge seems like an excellent choice to be used against him as well.
