PERSONALITY: She is an artistic soul. Ever since she has been on land she loved to draw and write, with so many new options opening up for her to use her imagination (f.e. creative writing, painting ...). She is a very friendly and gentle, but has a habit of holding grudges. She hates being wrong and will not accept defeat, so she often gets into arguments that end up bad for her because anytime she tries to be sarcastic or mean she fails. She was raised to be kind and sweet, but she will stand up for herself if she needs to. She hates superficial people. Because of her mermaid genes she is beautiful and she knows it, but doesn't want people to judge her personality based of her looks. Guys have tried to flirt with her and befriend her but they weren't interested when she told them she doesn't want a relationship with them. She loves to explore new things and is very outgoing. She will on occasion break some rules but she is very careful not to get caught since she is aware that she can get kicked out of the school, but she certainly enjoys some adrenalin. BACKGROUND: She comes from the underwater city where she lived with both of her parents.  She is one of the mermaids that can actually transform her tail into legs, but most mermaids with that power actually never use it, since it feels more natural to have a tail for them. Unlike what some would think, mermaids actually do have knowledge of what goes on in the world outside of the waters and they know how the world functions, they just choose to remain to themselves in the waters. She has lived in Merapolis her whole life and she had friends there, but her parents wanted her to expand her horizonts so they enrolled her into a new school. The school has offered every mermaid of highschool age to go into that school, but Corella's parents were the only ones that accepted the offer. She doesn't hate them for that, she had a good relationship with her parents, but she also isnt very happy about going into a new enviorment with new people she doesn't know. One of the teachers was on the shore waiting for her to get out of the sea so she could explain to her everything she needs to know. She decided to take a new name and that teacher also showed her how to write and read, since mermaids have a different writing and ways of communication.

PERSONALITY: He is a very confident person, which many others see as arrogance and cockyness, which are also his traits. He likes to flirt with girls, but that's the only thing he does, flirt. He doesn't go around "breaking hearts" and stuff like that, flirting is just a bit of fun to him. He also likes to prank people, hiding their stuff with his ability to shrink into a little ghost form, but he eventually gives everything he hides back, he's not a thief. He is the type of person to break an awkward silence with a sarcastic remark and sarcasm is something he really enjoys. Even if he is 90% of the time joking around he can be serious if needed, so if his friends are sad, he will be there for them and try to cheer them up. People would assume he is the daredevil type of person, but he is actually not and he will be the first one to tell everyone if an idea is stupid/dangerous. He has a way with words and he is pretty good at convincing people. He will literally argue with a teacher even if the teacher is right. Sometimes he likes to do trouble at the wrong time, which mostly gets him in detention.He is a loyal friend and he will never tell a secret someone told him. He is so good at sarcasm some believe he has a reply for everything and anything and that he probably has those comments written down somewhere. In a serious situation, he is very protective over his friends, but he usually pranks them.He is very competitive and wants to be the best (like no one ever was).

BACKGROUND:Both of his parents were genies, so naturally he is a genie. Not all genies make wishes come true, but most of them still live in lamps because it's convenient and easy to hide in. There aren't really much genies left, since throughout the history they were associated with witches and devil stuff so they went into hiding. He isn't the type of genie to make wishes come true, but he still makes jokes about it.So without that many of them left, the school was happy to have a genie there, so all beings could stop judging each other.The school wasn't so happy when he started to do some trouble but it was never enough to actually kick him out of it. He has an okay relationship with his parents, they had some fights when they decided to send him to the school, but worked it out in the end.

HOW SHE TREATS HIM:in the beginning, she doesn't like him that much because of the dirty joke he made but she eventually opens up to him, they become friends (but they both secretly want to be more) and then a couple. In the beginning she didn't like his flirting(the few times she actually realised he was flirting with her) or so she said, but she never told him to stop it. She doesn't trust him because she is afraid she is just another girl he flirts with and that she won't be interesting to him once she accepts him

HOW HE TREATS HER: He flirts with her, offers his help and just about anything he can to get her attention(everything but being mean). He gets just a tad bit jealous when she is being friendly with a guy and it's obvious that the guy is flirting, but he tries not to show it. Later he keeps trying, but he always remains respectful. He sometimes thinks he should give up and every time something reminds him not to (her smile, her drawing, her oblivious nature and so on)

FIRST ENCOUNTER:they were introduced to each other by some friends (I'll leave that part to the authors) and she asks him "So if you are a genie, does that mean you can grant wishes?" to which he replies with "Only if you rub me the right wa-hey where are you going?" because she just turns around and leaves.
