- [17:53:16] Ashin Luoh says, "I feel so restless."
- [17:53:16] Jin Huli asks, "You care to start on the project?"
- [17:53:16] Bob Hatake says, "Sure thing."
- [17:54:08] Jin Huli says, "Alright then"
- [17:54:59] Jin Huli says, "Nice place Bob"
- [17:54:59] Bob Hatake says, "Modest, took the style after Wen Gao."
- [17:54:59] Jin Huli says, "Cool"
- [17:55:50] Bob Hatake says, "So...a pair of bracers."
- [17:55:50] Bob Hatake asks, "Bracers to enhance your potency of your plasma magics, right?"
- [17:56:41] Jin Huli says, "Heheh yea"
- [17:56:41] Jin Huli says, "The idea was to use Crystals to enhance the ower of them"
- [17:56:41] Bob Hatake says, "Give me a detailed description of *exactly*, what you want."
- [18:01:48] Jin looked toward Bob as he asked about a descriptive design of his bracers, though Jin smirked a bit before he spoke.
- "Well the Bracers should be first and foremost be from the wraist to the elbow. It will be similar to sleeves but it wont go past the elbow.
- The Bracers should mostly be made Of Orchilacum, though it will have a bit of Steel and Mythril as well as the Fire and Lightning crystals. The Mythril should be lined on the outside to channel the magic through it with no problem.
- The Crystals should be slotted along the bracers 4 of both 2 on the left and to on the right for both. Though....since your a Runesmith too, it will b enice after a while you can enchant them with a blessing to where only a Kitsune will be able to use them....Dont want anyone taking it from me. So it should have nine tails on side to show it. Lastly. It should have my name on the inside of them. Thats about it."
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob ponders Jin's design plan, running it over in his mind then replying with an inquisitive tone.
- "Yes...wrist to elbow...we can do that. Orchilacum on the inside with steel acting as the supporting frame between that and the mythril on the outside. Two lightning crystals and two fire crystals adorning each gauntlet...four fire crystals and four lightning crystals needed for the whole project. A custom imbuement to limit the bloodline of the bearer to Jiuweihu's chosen, the kitsunes...with a heavily detailed engravement of the nine tailed fox herself. Wrapping it up with be your own name etched inside the wrists..."
- Bob looks back at Jin into his gaze.
- "Are you sure this is what you desire?"
- (Bob Hatake)
- [18:26:33] Jin looked at Bob as he explained the same thing Jin attemped to descibe, though his smile grew only to have the man pull out the materials needed for the project.
- "Thats exactly what I want. Though, Im not sure how long it will be, so lets get started as soon as possible"
- (Jin Huli)
- [18:31:40] Bob mulled over the thought of the materials required for the job, taking measurements of Jin's arms from the elbow to the tip of his fingers, taking careful notation on the dimensions and the require amount of material required. He then states the rough estimate.
- "So, for a set of gauntlets to enhance plasma magics I'd require the following. Six pounds of orchilacum, three pounds of steel, six pounds of mythril, four fire crystals, and four lightning crystals."
- (Bob Hatake)
- [18:45:20] Jin smiled only to pull out the exact amount of materials.
- First he'd pull out the 6 Orchilacum. He smiled as he took out the Steel, then the Mythril and then reached deep into his bag to give Bob.
- "Alright here you go bob!"
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob receives the materials from Jin and gets to work post haste. He opens his furnace and picks up a pair of tongs, rotating three runescribed smelting pots on his rack over to him...then placing each individual ore into the containers. He sealed the pots and activated the glyphs on each one to the individual melting point of the ores.
- "Give it about ten minutes and the metal will be ready for shaping."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin watched as Bob took out 3 melting pots from where ever and having them rotate as he activated the glyphs on them and placed the metals into each one.
- Bob told him that it would take about 10 minutes, though Jin knew it was going to be nothing but hard work coming up. Jin smiled at Bob only to have his body tense up in a bit of excitment to see how they come out.
- "Alright then. SSo what should we do in the mean time?"
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob pulls out a list of measurements he took, looking them over and making mental notes. He pulls up a bucket of molding material and starts to shape multiple sets of molds, each one to form the orchilacum, steel, and mythril plating on the gauntlets to exact dimensional specifications to interlock flawlessly.
- "Simple really, I'm forming the molds so that I can slap the gauntlets together quite snugly and efficiently...from fingertips to the elbow."
- A light ding is emitted from the furnace after ten minutes had passed...signaling the ore within is smelted, purified, and ready for use.
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin looked to the side and heard the subtle ding that notified the men of the ores being finished and more so allowing them to know the more then perfect time.
- "Wow....that was fast"
- Jin watching bob had him look at the molds he made for the bracer's shape from the measurements Bob took from his arms.
- "Well how do we do this exactly?"
- (Jin Huli)
- "Simple really...I pour the metal into the appropriate molds, then we can bathe them in a bath of tempering water to cool them down and normalize the metal. Afterwards all I have to do is fit all the pieces together and attach the crystals."
- Bob puts on a leather apron and gloves, grabbing his tongs and opening the furnace. He graps the orchilacum, steel, and mythril smelting pots one by one...pouring the contents into the molds. After five minutes the last of the metal was poured, then the master smith eased each mold into the bath of tempering water to await them to solidify into its new form.
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin looked at the master do his work as he grabbed every individual smelting pot and poured the metal into sheets of molds. It was hard to watch due to the process being rather vague to Jin, though when they were placed into the tempered water, Jin watched as the metal steamed as the water boiled from the heated metal.
- "So why did you need me here? To be an assistant, or maybe the actuall purpose was to test fit everything?"
- Jin was curious as he wasnt any help at the moment and he wanted to change that. After all these were being made for him
- (Jin Huli)
- You're going to be here for form fitting the bracers onto your arms, and for the process of binding those bracers to only be used by Her chosen. Another issue is making sure you'd be able to utilize the crystals themselves to amplify your plasma magics properly...making sure they're attuned just right."
- Bob places his tongs back into the tempering troth and pulls the molds back out, the steaming having stopped long enough to signal the metal having solidified. After all the molds are pulled and placed onto his workbench table he taps each of the molds with his glyphed smithing hammer, breaking each of them apart. The metal parts are now arrayed before him in shining condition, devoid of any defects and ready for assembly.
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin watched as the steam from the tempered water subsided allowing the metal pieces to be finished cooling and allot to be pulled out and placed on the assembly table. it wasnt everyday that you get to see a master blacksmith at work.
- "You know seeing you in your work station just reminds me how old we are."
- Jin chuckled for a moment after hearing Bob's requirements for the essence of his needed self.
- Jin looked toward Bob as he looked at every individual piece of metal and smiled at their inner glory.
- "So what comes next?"
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob looks towards Jin with an arched eyebrow, an inquisitive glance given.
- "Old huh, perhaps. I'm fourty eight and you're fourty seven...I've got a wife and six children...and you're still single..."
- Bob begins assembling the bracers by starting with the orchilacum pieces, fitting them together then attaching the steel reinforcement rods and riveting. Overlooking the bracers whilst having a chat with his old friend he starts to piece together the mythril outer layering, working it into place.
- "Tell you what Jin, I'll be your wingman and find you a worthy woman for you to marry and be happy with. You're almost fifty...same as me...time for us both to settle down and take it easy on ourselves."
- The master smith fits the last of the mythril outer layer together, locked into place atop the steel rods and riveted into place, a light welding in places from Bob's index finger through his lightning magics. Rolling the pieces around he examined his handiwork, then hands them over to Jin to examine and try them on.
- "Give them a shot, then if they fit properly we can do the engraving of the Divine Spirit, then attune the crystals, and bind them to those of Her children."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin listened to Bob's words as he discussed differnt topics. It was easy to hear but hard to listen.
- As Bob placed together the rivets and pieces of the gauntlet, he wspoke to him about being a wingman.
- "Heheh I appreciate it Bob, though for me it seemed like an impossible feat. I was once married but she left me and went back to Jianghu. My daughters never talk to me and I dont even know if they are alive. Its really sad honestly."
- Jin looked at Bob as he handed him the unfinished Bracer Gauntlets. They looked rather snug, though looking, he took them from Bob and placed them on.
- He gave the gauntlet a bit of a wiggle, though it was nearly easily moveable, though he smiled a bit from the experience.
- "They should be a bit tighter. If they stay like that they might slip off. You got anyway to fix that?"
- Jin would hand the bracers back to Bob for readjustments.
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob takes the bracers back with a thoughtful look on his face, then reaches for a bit of leather to cut down to size, fitting two cylindrical sleeves into the bracers and securing them into place with more riveting. He hands the bracers back to Jin to try back on.
- "Well if you do wish for a wife once more, ask and I'll do what I can do that front. As for the bracers that leather should fill in the gaps and help avoid any chafing from metal on skin."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin would take the bracers again and attempted tp place them on.
- On this attempt, the bracers fit snuggly in his grasp and even placed itself very lightly against his arms giving it a nice comfortable feel.
- "Perfect."
- Though when Jin heard Bob speak about getting permission, Jin chuckled a bit.
- "Well if you can go right ahead my friend, though I tried myself and came up short on many girls already taken, way to young, or not the slighest bit interesting."
- Jin looked at Bob again as he gave him back the bracers for the graphing of the tails next.
- "alright then"
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob receives the bracers once more and takes a look at the etching of the Divine Spirit Jiuweihu. He extends his right index finger and empowers it with his mana within and begins tracing the engraving...taking his time and controlling the speed and depth of his work. After a painstaking period of a half hour each of the bracers have an embossing of the Divine Spirit masterfully placed upon them.
- "Take a look Jin, I think they look rather well myself."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin looked at the Bracer with a heavily filled eyesight of delight and awe.
- "Well they look amazing Bob. Looks like you never loss your touch as a Blacksmith."
- Jin smiled as he took a look at them, though he handed Bob the Bracers and even the crystals needd for the embedding.
- "Alright so its the embosing right?"
- (Jin Huli)
- "Embedding...and I'll place them closer to the wrist to properly channel its power into the palms of your hands."
- Bob finds the empty slots upon the bracers from the molding work he did earlier and slots the crystals into place. Two fire crystals and two lightning crystals per bracer, each one if viewed with the bracer sitting upright would be a fire crystal on the twelve and six o'clock and a lightning crystal on the three and nine o'clock slots. He'd lightly lock them into place with a touch of welding and overlooks his work, then hands them over to Jin.
- (Bob Hatake)
- JIn took the bracers from Bob once again as the embedding of the crystals were finished and it was time to test them out.
- Jin looked toward Bob and smiled as he placed them both on and tightened them as much as he could without making it to tight.
- "Heheh they look amazing Bob, though how about a quick match to see how much they amp my power?"
- Jin looked toward bob with a purple flash into his eyes.
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob Hatake says, "Alright...let's do it."
- Bob and Jin clash with nyeshk on plasma in the middle of the household...the walls shaking with each strike. Celestial Fury strikes forth...Bob teleporting up close and personal to deliver punishing blows on Jin whilst pirouetting and dodging incoming plasma blasts. In the end Jin trips over a fine silk chair and falls flat on his ass, with Bob panting from the exertion. These two old bastards are done brawling for now...
- "You...me...tie...getting too old for this shit."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin looked toward Bob as their fighting caused a giant rucus along the walls of the Hatake residence. It was only a matter of time before someone came downstairs and yelled at them for making such noise, thoughthis building was for his workshop. Bob probably stayed back in the old Silver lake.
- Jin was on Bob's ass as he came and fought against his old master, though it was only from his old body frame that he tripped over one of the chairs onto his ass and failed.
- When Bob spoke about them being at a tie, Jin chuckled a bit before speaking.
- "Yea. We are getting old, though I still have fight in me. Its too soon to call it quits, though I love these things. They felt powerful. More so then the staffs I've been using. Heheh I guess there is only one thing left now."
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob Hatake says, "Two things, the glyphs to locked them to Kitsune users only...and your name inscription."
- Bob Hatake says, "Come..."
- Jin smiled as Bob spoke. Jin took off the Bracers and handed the man them.
- "Here"
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob took the bracers once more and traced a unique glyph upon each bracer...waiting for a component. Bob reached down and drew his boot knife and laid it on the table for Jin.
- "Blood Jin, that is what is required to lock the bracers to those of Jiuweihu's Chosen. The glyphs will know the bloodline of the person who wears them, and will respond accordingly. If those not of Her Grace attempt to wear them, the crystals will steadily burn and shock the wearer...the bracers slipping off in the process. A drop is all it takes."
- Bob awaits Jin to perform the rite.
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin looked at the dagger that Bob placed on the table and frowned as he looked at his friend.
- "Well it is needed so I guess it cant be helped, though its just a drop right?"
- Even is Bob answered, Jin frowned a bit before taking a deep breath and looking at his hand.
- Where should he slash into? His wraist? HELL NO! He would die from lack of blood. Maybe his palm? Nah, to numbing after.
- Maybe his finger? Well it was worth a shot.
- Jin took his finger and placed it above the bracers only to slash into his finger a bit. Jin winced a bit from the cut, though it was deep enough to draw blood, allowing a few droplets on both Bracers.
- (Jin Huli)
- Bob wraps Jin's finger up in a silken wrapping quickly, then looks to the glyphs on the bracers. The glyphs are glowing blue, the blood awakened them...now activated and constantly monitoring themselves. He takes an index finger and finishes the job, etching the name 'Jin Huli' on the inside edge of both bracers then hands them off to Jin.
- "Well, job is done Jin...here you be."
- (Bob Hatake)
- Jin took the bracers from Bob and smiled as he was all patched up as well.
- "Thanks Bob. I owe ya. Though you can find me a lady....Though I dont want anyone fat.....or bossy."
- Jin chuckled a bit before taking the bracers for the moment and looked toward Bob as he began to walk off.
- (Jin Huli)
