The Boss/Enemy One Hour Challenge Ruleset

  1. The Kingdom Hearts 2FM Boss/Enemy 1 Hour Challenge

  3. The goal is to accumulate as many points as possible from the items/objectives below in one hour. Some rules to note:
  4. - ***This is boss/enemy randomizer.***
  5. - You must finish as close to as 1 Hour as possible.
  6. - As of Season 4, 1 Hour Challenge now goes by Loadless time instead of RTA. Please obtain the loadless timer here: https://discord.com/channels/712837252279173150/811888805379309599/959018734473871360
  7. - You are allowed to end 5 minutes early. Any finish earlier than 0:55:00 is counted as a DQ.
  8. - You are penalized for every full minute past the 1:00:00. The amount penalized is calculated as follows: 5 * 2^x, where x = full minutes past 1:00:00.
  9. - You cannot enter Final Fights past 1:00:00.
  10. - Once you enter final fights, you are not allowed to do any other content. Once final fights are completed, you are not allowed to restart your timer or load a save.
  11. - The latest version DA's Tracker is a requirement for this race
  12. - In addition, all checks *must* be autotracked. If a check has to be tracked manually, you may only do so once you find the check and it did not autotrack. You may never put checks you haven't found in your tracker, and your tracker must be on-screen at all times.
  13. - As of Season 3, 1 Hour Challenge is now *PC ONLY*
  14. - The autosave and soft reset mods are required. You may only soft reset if you're softlocked.
  15. - In the event of a tie, the order first is the number of important checks, and if that ties, it's the closest to finish to 1 hour.

  17. Point tallies:
  18. As of Season 4, point tallies have been completely revamped, and almost everything is done by the tracker now. Here are the point tallies used in the generator:
  19. Report Point Value: 3
  20. Proof Point Value: 15
  21. Forms Point Value: 9
  22. Magic Point Value: 7
  23. Munny Pouch Point Value: 7
  24. Summon Point Value: 5
  25. SC & OM Point Value: 5
  26. Torn Page Point Value: 5
  27. Ice Cream and Picture Point Value: 5
  28. Bonus Level Points: 5
  29. World Completion Points: 10
  30. Form Level Points: 3
  31. Normal Boss Defeated Points: 5
  32. Final Xemnas Defeated Points: 100
  33. Absent Silhouette Defeated Points: 10
  34. Data Boss Defeated Points: 20
  35. Sephiroth Defeated Points: 30
  36. Lingering Will Defeated Points: 50
  37. Death Penalty Points: 0
  38. Set bonuses: Ansem Reports - 40, Magics - 10, Summons - 5, Torn Pages - 25, Munny Pouches - 15, Proofs - 15

  40. If you defeat a boss in an Absent Silhouette, Data, Sephiroth, or Terra arena, you gain bonus points equal to what the original boss was worth there.
  41. - Ex. Completing Sephiroth arena is 30 points
  42. The exception to this is the Twin Lords arena, where the points you obtain there is the sum of the bosses that replaced Twin Lords divided by 2.
  43. - Ex. Defeating Data Marluxia and Data Xemnas would be 20 bonus points in that arena. Defeating Old Pete and Barbossa in that arena would be 5 points.
  44. Data Final Xemnas is also an exception, but it will always be the Data arena bonus x2 (so 40 points, 20 points per arena).
  45. You may only get points from a special arena *once*. "Farming" an arena is not allowed.

  47. Bonus Points NOT added by the tracker (must be added manually at the end):
  48. - Clearing Land of Dragons missions = 15 points
  49. - Entering Land of Dragons Throne Room = 30 points, 15 points if done with Shan-Yu Skip
  50. - Completing a minute-timed survival fight = 10 points
  51. - Completing any Objective in Jiminy's Journal (or in the objectives.txt file in the seed zip) = listed point value
  52. - As of Season 5, completing 5 out of 7 objectives opens the Promise Charm path.
