  1. SGDQ 2018 was bar none the best GDQ event I've ever attended, quite possibly the best GDQ event in its history, and I'll give some bullet points that explain why:
  2. -Both of the runs that I participated in were solid. For my I am Bread Bagel Race run,the run went pretty well outside of getting stuck on the ramp in Bathroom. BloodThunder backed me up with really informative commentary for how short the run is. As for New Super Mario Bros. 2 Warpless, which was ran by eddaket,me and the couch did a really good job on the commentary as well. There were a few deaths here and there in the run,but it was still a solid performance on eddaket's part.
  3. -I met a lot more people. One of the things I stressed in terms of things I wanted to improve on from SGDQ 2017 was meeting people. I was previously way too shy to go up and talk to people since, due to autism,my social skills have some kinks that I'm still working on fixing. I feel I really improved on that this SGDQ by just going up to people and asking if I could take a selfie with them. The people I ended up meeting with are listed in this twitter thread of selfies: https://twitter.com/N3rd_Squared/status/1012734143984291841 (One person whose selfie I forgot to post was Konasumi, but I'll add that after I write this)
  4. -I did more things while at the event. This point kind of goes hand-in-hand with the previous point of meeting with more people. Previously,I would sit around and not do much besides go in stream room,do a run(if I had one in the marathon),and wander around the different rooms. This time I played some games in the arcade room, mainly Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Mario Party 7 in the casual room.
  5. -I was able to be in the stream room for the finale and the 2 million dollar goal being hit during the Final Fantasy 6 run
