  1. Born into a noble family of low-standing, Beatrice's mother died at her birth, and her father, a reputed engineer for the kingdom of Albion, wasn't particularly loving of her. Attending various prestigious schools thanks to her family's connections, Beatrice slowly climbed up in life, while trying her best to ignore her life at home.
  2. Her father, perhaps mad from the grief of his wife's passing, began using his daughter for devious experiments, all in the name of science. Implanting machines in her daughter, using her body as he saw fit, recording the reactions to the human body then acting like nothing happened. Most of the experiments done on her were fairly innocuous, and left no visible trace aside from the scars in her memory. Up until one day, where her father replaced her vocal chords with some sort of device. She could still speak, but without proper tweaking of the device, her voice would sound distorted, and perhaps would become unable to speak at all. The device stuck as a mechanical collar of sorts, and her father never bothered to even remove it.
  3. The next day at school, despite her best attempts at hiding it, her device was discovered, and all her peers started to mishandle it, despite her distorted cries not to. The bullying kept on for days, weeks, months, until she was able to graduate and move to another academy altogether. This completely ruined Beatrice's ability to trust in anyone, and became somewhat sheltered.
  4. In the new academy, she met the current princess to the throne, and they quickly became friends, despite Beatrice's initial distrust of her. Over the years, they became close confidants, disclosing private matters on each other, and Beatrice started being a personal servant and maid to the princess.
  5. As a result of this, Beatrice became dragged into a plot of espionage in one fateful party, where she was 'forced' to cooperate, for the sake of her princess. Even though she hated her new companions at first, she slowly started becoming used to them, and felt herself be more valued, as her interesting quirk and her proficency with machinery, inherited from her father, became quite useful for the missions.
  6.
  7. Long time has passed and a lot has happened since then, and the current situation is one of disarray, with the Princess having gone missing, with no trace or hints to her whereabouts. A strange woman paid a visit to Beatrice, alone, and left some details and a strange card with her. After consulting with her peers, who in turn consulted with her bosses, the orders from Command were firm and clear: 'While A, D, and C continue on their search for the princess, B must accept the request from the mysterious woman, assert her intentions and alliance, and try to find as much as possible about her.' A lone mission, if you will. Beatrice's first lone assignment as a spy. With no option to refuse, and as much as it pained her to have to temporarly abandon the search for her liege, Beatrice grabbed the first transport to the location described by the woman.
