The idea here is that Infinity Merge is all of Fusion-MX’s currently unlocked Merge Modes as one entity but the whole Complete Arsenal angle would make a lot more sense if his range of abilities was in the literal billions wouldn’t it? Not only that but maybe it’s through Infinity Merge how Fusion-X would actually unlock all 800 Billion Merge Modes? But the reason he’s called Fusion-MX in the future is because he’s discovered and unlocked the true potential and capabilities of a thousand and ten Merge Modes at that point? So yeah, I would say Infinity Merge is all 800 Billion Merge Modes coming together as one with the ability to control Aether/Infinity Energy due to the combined Infinity Energy of all Merge Modes coming together to become pure Aether again and thus is the energy source Infinity Mode uses.

The idea is that Infinite/Infinity would be the final Merge Mode that Fusion-X uses to defeat the ultimate baddie in the series finale, which would lead to an epilogue series where Nicholas and Alloy’s closest friends/allies find the parts of the Infinity Key in order to awaken them at the Well of Creation. Infinity Merge would still be teased in the Fusion-MX episode when a random paparazzi guy asked him if they could see Infinity Merge only for Fusion-MX to politely decline and when Young-X asked who Infinity Merge is and what he does Fusion-MX replies with “shhh, no spoilers!” like that time Professor Paradox did.
