  1. forgotten ss TAS timesaves:
  2. (frames are approximations; too hard to remember and its hard to precisely count in some spots anyway)
  3.
  4. timing is done in frames
  5.
  6. 240: 6 frames saved by shorthopping here rather than doing questionable things with bonking your head
  7.
  8. 300: got a ceiling boost here, probably saved a few subframes at most but there was no reason not to
  9.
  10. 320: ~4 frames saved by downdashing earlier rather than putting a focus on hitting the sloped wall for as little time as possible; ceilingboost might've played in to some of the savings here?
  11.
  12. 410: ~8 frames saved from a slick downheavy allows me to keep much more speed through here (as well as putting me closer to the ceiling), which was a very good tradeoff despite the slowdown from the heavy and the hitstop
  13.
  14. 830: x frames saved here from jumping in to the ceiling after the super; while i hit the slope the same time as the previous run, i was able to dash the subframe i hit the slope thus giving me a slightly larger boost through this section.
  15.
  16. 970: 8 frames saved from a jump + backlight (and a hell of a lot of fidgeting with inputs to slow down enough but keep enough speed through the next section, this took forever :|) into an airdash sideheavy on the turkey. preserved much more speed through the section overall.
  17.
  18. 1100: 10?(it was a lot) frames saved from a grounded downheavy to clear that VERY awkward dust on the wall. worth's grounded downheavy will actually make an appearance in the fullgame tas! while it looks like i downheavied a bit early, there's a really small sweet spot range where this heavy actually works. not exactly sure why it doesnt work if you're too close, mojo probably does :^)
  19.
  20. 1150: initially, i saved a frame from better climbing in this section, but i found myself getting an extremely shitty cycle that was wasting 8+ frames to adjust. this solution only lost me a frame, as while it makes me significantly slower than the normal dashjump trick we do on these slopes, it also allows me to cut a light in the climb. overall, i basically broke even on the segment.
  21.
  22. 1280: 12(!) frames saved here by putting a focus on vertical movement rather than whatever the previous tas was putting a focus on here 4Head
  23.
  24. 1640: 20(!) frames were saved throughout this section from taking a more direct path overall. at 1650, no time is spent on walls as opposed to the really gross walldash the old tas was doing. while the old strats gave you a boost, it was kept for a VERY short time (around 3 frames before initiating a jump) and these strats give you a spike jump you keep speed from through the section. at 1740, positioning really required me to slopejump here. admittedly, im not exactly sure if this was handled optimally, might need another set of eyes. regardless, this positioning allowed me to sidelight the floor dust rather than sideheavy, saving a bit of time despite needing to go a bit more left during the tiny superdrop here.
  25.
  26. 1930: 3 frames saved by cutting the really gross grounded light by doing a wallclimb -> mantle (while this is also gross, this is the best we can do it seems lol) and another frame (or two? idr) was saved by turning the downheavy here into a sidelight.
  27.
  28. from here to the end, i just copied inputs over from the old tas since i had no new ideas and mojo had just revised that section a bit. still need to test timesaves at the ending super, but i doubt anything special will come of it. overall, 74 frames saved.
