Copypasta: All doom lore I spent 3 hours writing

Ok so basically there’s this guy, alright? He’s a marine and he goes mars because he assaulted his commanding officer who ordered him to fire on civilians, ok? So get this, he arrived just in time to see the uac’s facility, which was doing experiments on teleportation, get overrun by demons! So basically, he has to go into the facility and kill all the demons now. He does, ends up going to Phobos and demos, mars’s 2 moons, but get this; when he goes outside on demos, it turns out demos has been sucked into hell! He has to fight his way through demos to get to a portal to earth, only to find that the demons have followed him through! But that’s not the worst part, because get this, his pet rabbit, Daisy, has been killed by the demons! In his anger, he starts an all out war with hell, destroying the majority of the demonic horde and driving the demons away in Doom II: Hell on Earth. By the time of Doom: 64, hell is like an annoying fanboy of the planet earth, and *really* want to absorb it into their gross dimension, so they open a portal to Earth, which is quickly closed, as the humans now have a little more tech to fight the demons. But get this: they open up 13 more! Without being able to close them all in time, a bunch of demons start pouring into their dimension! Doomguy has to fight his way through the endless demon hordes and into hell to close the portal. But guess what: he stays in hell! To make sure hell isn’t up to anymore shenanigans, Doomguy now closes the portal from the inside. He keeps fighting hell, till eventually (here come the Doom: Eternal spoilers), he gets sucked into the dimension of the knight sentinels, who are basically people, but way cooler. The sentinels find him and holy priests order their soldiers to take him up to the arena to be judged to see if he could join them, and he proves himself useful by nearly murdering every opponent. After being confronted by one of the holy priests, Deag Grav, he rambles about demons and killing them, being barely conscious due to blood loss and his injuries. The khan maykr, leader of urdak (offbrand heaven), orders them to treat his wounds and bring him to her, as she wants to know more about the demons he is rambling about. Soon enough though, they all find out, as when the Doomguy was pulled into their dimension, the demons followed. Before long they being to attack the sentinels’ city. They would have been overrun, if not for Doomguy, being able to fight off the demons with little assistance. The sentinels train him in their ways, until the day of the attack on Taras Nabad. On that day, not only did he’ll send their largest attack yet, they also sent a titan. Even against all the force the sentinels could muster they could not bring down the titan. That was, until the Doomguy, now Doom slayer, arrived. While the attack was taking place, a seraphim, the right hand of the khan maykr, blessed him with unrivaled speed and strength, using the divinity machine (like captain America machine thing but on crack). With this newfound power, the slayer, using his crucible (weird hell lightsaber), he stabbed the heart of the titan, killing it once and for all. The sentinels began a holy war against hell, known as the unholy crusade, led by the slayer himself. The reason for this war though, was much more sinister than you would think. The khan maykr had found out about the miraculous hell energy that could bend to hell’s will, known as argent energy. Seeing how it cold benefit her dying race, she had struck a deal with a dark lord, allowing her to take argent energy from hell, in exchange for her providing hell with more worlds to devour. She made sentinel prisoners build nekrevol, the city of the damned. In nekrevol, was an argent factory, which had an inter dimensional portal that led to urdak, allowing the maykrs to siphon argent energy out of hell, and have the suffering of the knight sentinels during their war fuel the production of argent. Eventually, the sentinels found out about this, and they were split. Many were disgusted by this newly discovered fact, and laid down their argent fueled weapons now, knowing that it was their own brothers’ souls that were fueling them, using traditional sentinel weaponry, like guns and swords. This faction, lead by the slayer, go to war against the other faction, led by the khan maykr. Eventually, the rogue faction led by the slayer is split up, after going through a portal, which was hijacked by the holy priests, and now sent them each to a different part of hell. All of the soldiers put up good fights, but went down at the hands of the demons. All but one died, being the Slayer. This only serves to fuel the slayers rage against hell, and made him fight even harder. Eventually, his actions caught the attention of a demon lord who decided he didn’t want to be bad anymore; the Wretch. He crafted the slayer new battle armor, which could absorb the argent energy from his fallen foes: the Praetor Suit. Eventually, the slayer was caught in a trap. After after sons of fighting against hell, he walked into a building, and it collapsed onto him, a move intentionally made by demon lords. Knowing they could not kill him, they trapped in the cursed sarcophagus which bore his mark, warning all who came near of what horror was inside. For eons, the slayer slumbered, until he suddenly awoke for Doom: 2016. Now in yet another dimension, he was on Mars once again. This dimension’s version of the uac had been had been researching argent energy, and after being curious about where the miraculous energy they were already using to solve earth’s energy crisis had come from, they had found out that it had come from hell itself. Olivia Pierce, being second in command to Samuel Hayden (a dude with brain cancer who got his brain uploaded into a 9 foot tall robot), the director of the facility, had become corrupted by hell, along with many of the others at the facility. She sent out a Lazarus wave (a wave of unrefined argent plasma) through the facility, killing most and turning some into horrific demon zombies. The slayer has to cooperate with Samuel Hayden and stop Olivia Pierce from opening a permanent portal to hell, which she ends up doing anyway, sucking the slayer up too. He comes back, which astonishes Hayden, giving him faith that they can close the portal. The slayer goes to Olivia’a office in the advanced research complex, to find the helix stone, which Samuel Hayden believes the slayer can interact with, as it bears his mark. The stone shows him the crucible, which he needs to get to close the portal. Samuel Hayden sends the slayer to fight the cyber demon, as it has an argent accumulator in it’s chest, which could bring the slayer to hell if ruptured. The slayer kills the beast but has to fight it again when the argent energy in hell revives it. The slayer gets the crucible and uses it to destroy the wraiths (ancient sentinel I don’t knows, they’re like monsters and the sentinels worshipped them or something), who have been corrupted by hell and used to produce endless amounts of argent energy. He then has to fight Olivia Pierce, who has been turned into a spider demon called the spider mastermind. He is sucked back to Mars by Hayden after hilling her, and Hayden takes the crucible to continue his research, sending the slayer back to hell. That obviously didn’t end too well for Hayden, as when the story picks back up, nearly 60% of earth has been consumed by hell. The slayer, on a quest to eliminate the holy priests, now hell priests, kills the first, obtains a celestial located from the betrayer (he was a sentinel who sold out the slayer’s faction of rogue sentinels to hell to get his son back, who had been turned into the icon of sin without him knowing), and eliminated the second one. The khan maykr, not wanting the slayer to kill the last priest and stop the ritual to consume earth, takes him to a secure location as she forms a new, super gore nest (like a bunch of gore that forms into a gathering point for demons) at the starting point of the invasion. After destroying it, the slayer and Vega (his pet ai who was in 2016 as Samuel Hayden’s pet ai but I forgot to mention) don’t know where he is, they go to the arc complex (arc is the rebellion against hell) to get Hayden because Vega thinks he knows where the last priest, deag grav, is. They get Hayden and bring him to the fortress (fortress of doom, big space thing that the slayer has had since the start of the game for some reason) where he uploads himself into the ships mainframe because he is badly damaged, and he tells the that the last priest is in sentinel prime, the knight sentinels’ capitol. The problem is, the only functional slipgate is in the core of Mars. To get there, the slayer has to get to the BFG 10000 (big fricking gun) on demos to shoot a hole into the surface of Mars and get to sentinel prime. He is allowed to pass through because he was once their king, but Deag Grav reminds him before summoning his guardian that he will lose all sovereignty there if sentinel holy blood is spilt. He summons the gladiator to fight for him, but the slayer kills him and blows the priest’s head off with his super shotgun. Just as the maykr loving wannabe sentinels come through to kill him the slayer walks off through his portal back to the fortress. Only problem is that the khan maykr is hijacking the ship, turning off all the power, and setting the demons from the demon prison free. The slayer is able to use the crucible as an alternate power source to his ship, which he nabbed at the arc complex earlier. During this transmission, the khan maykr lets it slip that she is going to resurrect the dormant icon of sin (betrayer’s son, now a giant and poweful titan), and to stop this, he goes to taras Nabad to retrieve his crucible from the titan’s corpse, because it is the only thing that can stop the icon of sin. He then goes to nekrevol to get to urdak, where he accidentally awakens it and it ends up going to earth. He fights khan maykr, killing her, and fleeing to earth from the crumpling urdak to end the icon of sin once and for all, which he does after stabbing its brain with his crucible.
