Coco held out her hand to stop her. “No, I’ll get him. I need you to do something else, Velvet. I don’t see Gill here. Do you sense her anywhere, Fox?”

“No,” he sent. “Nor Carmine. She must be guarding Gill.”

“Good.” Coco put her hand on Velvet’s shoulder. “Go to the Wastelands and stop Gill. The only way we win this is if we cut her off from the soldiers so she can’t get here and give them more Aura.”
