Streaming/speedrunning plans 7-12-16

I want to discuss speedrunning/gaming and streaming plans as of right now.

The first thing(and sort of the elephant in the room)is that I had big issues last time I tried to stream,which is the REvelations race I would've had with PKMNtrainerGian on NG+ Casual. A LOT of frame drops happened while I was setting up and I got too frustrated to try and fix it and gave up. This is a problem as it's generally very annoying as someone who wants to stream,and certain things like SRL races on PC and emulator games require you to stream.

But fear not! While I can't really stream properly with PC and emulator games until I fix my OBS problem(which I will try to do),I can do offline recordings of attempts,and there's still 2 ways available to me that I can stream on without having to worry about dropped frames in OBS: streaming directly from my elgato and the built-in broadcasting feature my PS4 has. So that means that most of my streaming content until I can get this stuff figured out is speedruns of games on PS4/Wii/WiiU and games on VC. This actually helps me as it'll allow me to stream learning SMG2 242(excited to start running that soon despite the long as heck length)alongside the GYS race happening this Saturday,and gives me the opportunity to stream casual games like The Last of Us,and(if I feel like it),SAO Lost Song. 3DS games I'll be doing offline as I usually do that offline most of the time anyway ;P,main speedgames with that are Omega Ruby and Platinum.

2nd thing is general gaming plans. I plan to play Overwatch and Melee sometimes while I'm not streaming alongside the above mentioned things,and may get into each game in terms of high level or competitive play. This'll be interesting as I've never really tried this sort of thing before,so it'll be nice to see what happens with that.
