The Yokai Warrior Merge Modes

Overview: The Yokai Warriors are a trio of Merge Modes based on Yokai that are highly proficient in both animal-based combat and sorcery. All three of the Yokai Warriors are part of the Yokai Series and are one of two groups of Merge Modes from the Yokai Series to have the special classification of being part of a “group” that unites them by theme, the other group being The Eight Lucky Gods of Fortune.

Oogama Merge
Description: Oogama Merge is a Yokai Warrior who is a master of amphibian-based sorcery and combat.

Description: Oogama Merge resembles a fifteen foot tall, very fat, humanoid toad/frog with a royal blue and aqua color scheme and black-colored, swirling tattoo-like markings, eyes similar to Ampfibian’s in Omniverse, webbed hands and feet with bulb-tipped fingers/toes, catfish-like whiskers and dressed in gold and black samurai armor, complete with a kabuto helmet and possessing a gold and black Kiseru (Japanese smoking pipe) in his mouth.

Powers & Abilities
- Amphibian Magic - Oogama Merge is a master of Amphibian Magic, capable of performing spells and magical attacks related to all forms of amphibians, most commonly in the form of manifesting and commanding magical constructs resembling frogs, toads, salamanders and newts formed from the natural energy/life force of amphibians, giving Oogama Merge a wide array of capabilities such as exploding bomb-like frogs & toads, gigantic frog/toad constructs, flaming salamanders, slime-spitting axolotls, newts composed of mystical water, electrical “Lightning Toads”, musical note-shaped frogs that act like sonic bombs, Poison Dart Frog constructs made of supernatural poison, spiked frogs/toads, balloon-like frog constructs capable of powerful gusts and suction, ghostly Diplocaulus and his most powerful attack, the summoning of the giant demonic toad, Beezlebufo.
- Organic Magic - Oogama Merge is also a master or many different forms of sorcery related to organic and natural forces related to amphibians such as the creation of a multitude of many unique types of gel with different functions and abilities via Gel Magic, the creation of bubbles with varying effects/abilities via Bubble Magic, Water Magic, Rain Magic, Lilypad Magic and Swamp Magic.
- Animalistic Combat - Oogama Merge is highly proficient in Heavy Frog Style, a lost style of Kung-Fu that utilizes Sumo-like fighting techniques and using one’s heavy weight as an advantage in combat as well as using many frog-like movements in his attacks and techniques such as powerful kick, stomp and body slam attacks.
- Water Empowerment - Oogama Merge is empowered by the presence of water and all of his physical attributes such as strength and speed is increased dramatically the longer he is in prolonged contact with water
- Sonic Croaks - Oogama Merge can expel a powerful ballistic sound attack in the form of a sonic croak capable of blowing away a fully loaded semi truck.
- Flail Tongue - Oogama Merge possesses a powerful prehensile tongue tipped with a spiked globe, making it for a powerful flail-like weapon in combat.
- Inflatable Throat - Oogama Merge has a throat sac capable of deflecting projectiles and certain attacks as well as repelling enemies that have surrounded Oogama Merge when inflated.
- Regenerative Healing - Oogama Merge possesses fairly impressive regenerative abilities and an accelerated healing factor that allows him to quickly recover from powerful and potentially lethal attacks.
- Aquatic Adaptation - Oogama Merge thrives in water-based environments as a result of his frog-like appearance and is an exceptional swimmer as a result and he can hold his breath for hours at a time.
- Enhanced Jump - Oogama Merge has powerful legs that allows him to jump over two hundred feet in the air in a single bound.

Weaknesses
- Slow & Heavy - Oogama Merge is quite slow due to his heft and comparatively small legs and mostly gets around by jumping, being the slowest of the three Yokai Warriors, speedy opponents can have a significant advantage towards him.
- Dehydration - Oogama Merge can be severely dehydrated rather quickly when exposed to humid temperatures for extended periods of time which can leave him weakened and fatigued.

Tsunade Merge
Description: Tsunade Merge is a Yokai Warrior who is a master of gastropod-based sorcery and combat.

Description: Tsunade Merge resembles a fifteen foot tall, slender and very beautiful humanoid slug with a body resembling a flowing kimono, an abdomen-like tail resembling the body of a slug, a large chest that is roughly the same size as Witch Mode’s, long and slender legs resembling Gardevoir’s, a green and chartreuse color scheme with black-colored, swirling tattoo-like markings, long antennae resembling eyestalks and a pair of big, bug-like eyes with long eyelashes.

- Gastropod Magic - Tsunade Merge is a master of Gastropod Magic, capable of performing spells and magical attacks related to all forms of gastropods, most commonly in the form of manifesting and commanding magical constructs resembling slugs and snails formed from the natural energy/life force of gastropods, giving Tsunade Merge a wide array of capabilities such as manifesting giant, monstrous slugs/snails, flaming/electrical/icy/water-based gastropods, acidic/toxic gastropods, mind control slugs, exploding, bomb-like snails, laser-firing Cone Shells, slugs made of magical slime, giant snails capable of spin dash attacks with their shells and her most powerful attack, the summoning of the giant, divine slug, Namekujira.
- Organic Magic - Tsunade Merge is also a master of many different forms of sorcery related to organic and natural forces related to gastropods such as such as the creation of a multitude of many unique slimes/ooze with different functions and abilities via Slime Magic, the creation of a multitude of unique snail shells with different functions and abilities via Shell Magic, Acid Magic, Healing Magic, Regeneration Magic and Purification.
- Animalistic Combat - Tsunade Merge is highly proficient in Dancing Slug Style, a lost style of Kung-Fu that utilizes graceful, dance-like attacks and movements to bewilder and throw off enemies as well as utilizing Tsunade Mode’s sticky and stretchy body for unique techniques.
- Sex Appeal Combat - Tsunade Merge uses her highly attractive appearance to her advantage in combat, using it as a method of distracting opponents or to lower their guard before unleashing a brutal barrage of attacks, she can even utilize her voluptuous form in combat such as hip checking opponents several yards away.
- Gooey Body - Tsunade Merge possesses a soft, slimy body that gives her many advantages such as enhanced resistance towards most physical attacks, blunt objects and bullets, a slippery quality to her body that allows her to slip through enemy grips and enhanced flexibility.
- Regeneration - Tsunade Merge possesses impressive regeneration that surpasses Oogama Merge as she’s capable of regrowing entire limbs and portions of her body that have been cut or blown off in mere seconds, the time it takes to regenerate depends on how much of her body is destroyed as she can regrow an entire half of her body in mere moments.
- Slime Generation - Tsunade Merge can generate slime from her body in copious amounts and even project slime from her hands, antenna and the tip of her tail. This slime is xtremely thick and sticky, making it useful for slowing down and immobilizing enemies.

Weaknesses
- Low Strength - While Tsunade Merge excels in speedy combat and landing hits quickly, her overall strength is quite low and she can be easily overpowered is an enemy is given the chance
- Frail - Although possessing great regenerative abilities, Tsunade Merge is relatively frail and can’t handle too much damage.
- Salt - Salt is Tsunade Mode’s kryptonite as touching it causes a chemical reaction with her slime that burns her like acid and causes great pain.

Orochi Merge
Description: Orochi Merge is a Yokai Warrior who is a master of snake-based sorcery and combat.

Description: Orochi Merge resembles a thirty foot tall, muscular, reptilian humanoid possessing eight, snake-like heads with long necks and one red eye each, black sabre-like fangs with matching black claws, a serpentine lower half tipped with a sword-like blade, a sash and loincloth around his waist and a purple and violet color scheme with black-colored, swirling tattoo-like markings.

- Snake Magic - Orochi Merge is a master of Snake Magic, capable of performing spells and magical attacks related to all forms of snakes and serpents, most commonly in the form of manifesting and commanding magical constructs resembling snakes formed from the natural energy/life force of snakes, giving Orochi Merge a wide array of capabilities such as manifesting giant, monstrous snakes, blasting snake-shaped blasts of energy, creating flaming/electrical/poisonous/acidic/earth-based snakes, winged serpents, armored serpents, serpents with multiple heads, acid-spitting cobras, create and use snakes as prehensile limbs, creating snake pits and his most powerful attack, the summoning of the godly serpent, Apophis.
- Organic Magic - Orochi Merge is also a master of many different forms of sorcery related to organic and natural forces related to snakes such as the generation and manipulation of magical venom capable of a wide variety of effects via Poison Magic, the creation of different types of fangs with unique effects via Fang Magic and the ability to project a wide variety of different types of breath attacks via Breath Magic and Scale Magic.
- Animalistic Combat - Orochi Merge is highly proficient in Furious Cobra Style, a lost style of Kung-Fu that utilizes lightning fast and incredibly hard-hitting physical attacks and snake-like movements to quickly overwhelm opponents as well as utilizing his eight heads in lightning-fast headbutts/bites and his poisonous Tail Blade for blindingly fast, toxic slashes.
- Ultimate Regeneration - Orochi Merge possesses the most impressive regenerative abilities out of all the Yokai Warriors, capable of regenerating from even being reduced to the smallest piece of himself, completely reforming from being blown to bits in mere moments.
- Venomous Physiology - Orochi Merge possesses venomous fangs, claws and a venom-coated tail blade that allows him to heavily poison enemies with one bite or scratch, inducing effects similar to Cottonmouth viper venom. Orochi Merge is also coated head to tail in this same venom, which allows him to poison enemies through prolonged physical contact.
- Poison Immunity - Orochi Merge is immune to most forms of poison and toxins.

Weaknesses
- Iron - Like all Dragon Series Merge Modes, Orochi Merge is weak to pure iron as it’s one of the only things that can harm or potentially kill a dragon.
- Ice and Cold - Orochi Merge is is exceptionally weak to ice-based attacks and xtreme cold.

Notes
- Oogama Merge is based on and named after a frog Yokai that has lordship over all frogs & toads and is said to manipulate the weather. Tsunade Merge is based on and named after a slug Yokai that has lordship over all slugs and snails and is said to shapeshift into a beautiful woman in order to sleep with men. Orochi Merge is based on and named after an eight-headed serpent Yokai that has lordship over all snakes and is known for its regenerative abilities.
- Oogama Mode’s favorite food is Yakisoba (Japanese stir fried noodles), Tsunade Mode’s favorite food is Fengli Su (Chinese pineapple custard-filled cake) and Orochi Mode’s favorite food is Shichu no Orochi (Japanese snake meat soup with sake-based broth, made with the meat of eight different species of snakes).
- The Oogama Bells are a pair of frog-themed bells that summon Oogama Mode’s frog constructs when rung, the Slug Ship is a long, slug-shaped whip imbued with slug magic that wraps around Fusion-X’s arm and the Snake Sniper is a sniper rifle shaped like one of Orochi Mode’s heads capable of firing bullets of magical venom.
- The Yokai Warriors’ Plus Modes consists of “humanized” versions of themselves wearing attire themed after the animals they’re based. Aside from an overall boost in power, the main boost they all receive is gaining their own Personal Steed in the form of massive magical energy constructs in the form of monstrous beasts resembling their respective animal themes, Plus Oogama Merge gains a massive, winged toad, Plus Tsunade Merge has a massive snail creature with a spiked, spiral shell and Plus Orochi Merge has an immense, serpentine dragon with eight heads.
