I love it when Americans and Europeans think America assimilates immigrants (right before talking about the racial strife in America). The fact is that the existence of bloc voting and race riots (to name two) mean that nobody escapes the obvious fact that diversity increases complexity for social harmony. And as Europe gets more diverse our discorse on race is starting to match America and we get these racialized cleavages too which charge the whole thing. And like in America the respectable people blame the majority. Despite us being more tolerant and generous right?
