  1. LEGEND
  2.
  3. <CHARACTER NAME>
  4. Rank: Lists the rank of the character.
  5. Leadership Skill: This is the skill level of their leadership ability which grants a bonus to all troops under their direct command.
  6. Combat Ability: a qualitative judgement of the commander’s ability in personal combat. From worst to best: Non-combatant; Very weak; weak; mediocre; strong; very strong; legendary; demigodly; unstoppable. Note that most regular soldiers are considered ‘Very weak’; capable knights ‘weak; and elite soldiers ‘mediocre’.
  7. * Maximum Command: Details the maximum number of troops the general can command. Effective command is the maximum number of troops they can command without taking a bonus to their leadership skill. Optimal command is the maximum number of troops that they can personally lead and inspire (granting situational bonuses to). Note that this only counts for troops under their direct command – multiple generals can work together to command an army and their maximum command is combined.
  8. Specialities: In certain situations, generals can give additional bonuses to their troops. This may be a leadership bonus or it may be a more limited or arbitrary bonus. It may be limited to those he can effectively or optimally command but may also apply to all troops on the same battlefield as he is or to all of those under his ultimate command. Some specialities may weaken the foe.
