My (31f) husband (20m) doesn't want to eat all of a sudden because I told him he was gaining weight. Is he overreacting?

  1. I have been with my husband for about 4 years and we have a 1 year old daughter together. I love him to bits and I love him how he is and I am actually lucky. Ever since we have been just staying home to avoid contact with other people, my husband doesn't work out as much as before. He is home more often and I noticed that he eats a little more and is less active.

  3. He gained a small amount of weight, like 5 lbs, but he looks like a model and is attractive so I don't mind because he usually takes care od himself a lot. As long as he doesn't gain a lot of weight I'm fine with it because he could work out hard and stay in shape again once everything opens up again.

  5. A few nights ago we ordered some food and he ate A LOT. He ate a burger combo and like 4 tacos after that. I kinda jokingly told him to stop eating so much junk food because he is gaining weight. He stopped and now he took it seriously and he is barely eating any food at all. I even brought him some of his favorite food and he onky took a few bites.

  7. I feel like a bad partner now because of it. I just want the best for him and I didn't think he would take things too seriously. I don't know if he is just overreacting and wanting attention, or if I am really wrong for what I did? And if so how can I show him that I am sorry and get him eating again?

  9. TLDR: My husband has stopped eating food after I told him he was gaining weight because he eats more now that before
