Working as the <strong>owner of Faded Dispensary and clothing store</strong>, this<strong> 26 </strong>year old has been noticed by the Mickey King Gang, with the heat on them, how long can they really last? </p><blockquote><div>&ldquo;I will be my own fucking hero

&rdquo; </div></blockquote><p><strong>RELATION TO THE POLITICIAN / GANG:</strong> Roman has always had ties with the gangs that flood the streets of Chicago, but when he had his child they gave him a pass. Now that the politician has arrived, he has been summoned to run errands when asked and let the MKG store their product in the back of his store from time to time.<br /></p><p><strong><i>WHAT THE POLITICIAN KNOWS,</i></strong></p><ol><li>Ever since the train wreck Roman can&rsquo;t help but blame himself, he barely sleeps, eats, concentrates, so instead he trains - in secret. Learning to box and handle fire arms. It&rsquo;s Romans plan to take on the city one by one and figure out who killed his little girl. He even pays people to beat him up weekly, in attempt to make him not feel anything.<br /></li><li><br /></li></ol><p><strong>SHORT BIOGRAPHY: </strong><br /></p><blockquote><p>Born into wealth, Roman didn&rsquo;t quite understand what it was like to suffer until his mother passed when he was ten years old - suffering being a loose term for the well endowed. His father had just got elected into office as a congressman and didn&rsquo;t have time to care for Romans feelings, in fact he would say, &ldquo;Ro, men don&rsquo;t cry. These things happen. Move on.&rdquo; And so within a couple years, Roman moved on to drugs. Dropping all of his preppy friends from school, he switched to public school against his fathers demands. This is where he met Vivian Stone, a girl also raised in wealth but for some reason, he was unsure of at the time, she was suffering as well. The two were inseparable and he developed a possession over her, willing to ruin his record for anyone that harmed her. And that is who Roman became to many women in his life - the protector. Maybe it was because he couldn&rsquo;t stop his mother from dying so he now suffers from mommy issues. As years passed Romans distaste for his father grew, leaving the home right when he turned 18, he spent his time in college - ditching before finishing. This is where he first gets mixed up in gang life. Roman starts selling drugs in spare time.&nbsp;</p><p>Lucky for Roman, he always had money to fall back on. It seemed as if his father wasn&rsquo;t concerned with the presence of his son as long as he knew he was okay. After passing a couple business classes, the male opened up one of many dispensaries called FADED. The very first one lies in the heart of Chicago. This is where he met the love of his life, Tabitha. She was just a counter girl at his store but he fell head over heels for her, he even cleaned up his act, little did he know, she was doing the opposite. Roman thought that when she got pregnant she would knock off the party girl act and get clean, but she didn&rsquo;t. That&rsquo;s where things get a little rocky.&nbsp; Roman pulled himself out of the gang, even though they said that could never happen. They allotted him a pass for the time being because of his baby. Tabitha&rsquo;s parents would say Roman held her hostage until she had the baby, not allowing her to go anywhere or do anything for the health of the baby. At the time, he thought he was doing what he had too, but now looking back, he is aware of the mistake he made.&nbsp; Once the baby was born and taken to the nursery inside the hospital, Tabitha fled, leaving Roman a single father to a newborn baby girl.</p><p>Being the owner of his own corporation, Roman had to hire a nanny for Scarlett, only really being able to be there for her at night and certain times on the weekends. Once the gang found out that the child turned one, they recruited him again, saying he owed them. Little did he know that he was starting to work for the politician. Refusing to even think that it is his father, Roman allows them to store illegal drugs in the store - in all the locations in Chicago and surrounding areas. But now he is furious, unsure of what to do since the train accident. The nanny and his daughter got on the train to see him and moments later it exploded, leaving both of them dead.&nbsp;</p><p>Currently, Ro is in a funk, he feels lifeless, empty. He forgets to shower days at a time, and what most don&rsquo;t know about him is that he is searching to feel something - anything. Often, he goes to the warehouse and hires two men to beat him up until he is unconscious, and then they just leave him there. He feels like he needs to protect himself and this way he believes, will allow him to have thicker skin when he starts his own little escapade of protecting the city that he once called home.</p></blockquote>

Vivian being the little angsty spitfire she is works for the gang. They use her as a decoy as well as have put her in charge of collections. She lures men in for them, and will torture them if needed to collect money for the game. She’s tiny but mighty and is completely crazy. She’ll do whatever it takes. Her working for the gang also brings her protection, or so she thinks.
</p>

<p><strong><i>WHAT THE POLITICIAN KNOWS,</i></strong></p>

Vivian began running amuck at a young age, it was no surprise she ended up in the wrong crowd. This meant bad choices. She began prostituting at age 14. Although she had loving parents and was born into money, she wanted to be on her own and do as she pleased. Selling her body was a way to ensure she was self sufficient and able to support herself. The attention was something she loved more than anything, her father walking out on her at a young age caused a sense of separation anxiety and loneliness.
</li>
<li>
Drugs have always been an issue for the femme, that was no secret. However a drug deal gone wrong and murder are. When her dealer went weird on her, tried to make advances she got uncomfortable. When he didn’t stop, she snapped, her trusty little switch-blade escaping her pocket and plunging deep within his neck. She stabbed him repeatedly, fleeing the scene and never speaking of it again.
</li>
</ol><p>

<strong>SHORT BIOGRAPHY: </strong><br /></p>

When Vivian was born, her mother and father were ecstatic. The blue eyed baby girl was the apple of their eye. Life was normal for a while, until her father decided drugs were more important and bailed on her mother and her. It didn’t take all too long for her mother to remarry. The male giving the female and her daughter everything they could ask for. However, Vivs abandonment issues were far too much. The young female rebelled, she began sneaking out at 11. Drugs by 13, and prostitution by 14.
</p><p>
Fast forward-
</p><p>
Vivian had lost her mother in the train crash, her life spiraling downward even moreso. However, her stepfather had decided he had yet another obligation. To give Vivian anything in the world. He opened her an account, and began depositing thousands of dollars into her account monthly. He got her a nice little flat on a good side of town, but the female used her money for all her addictions. Any drug to numb the pain of losing her mother, and her father walking out. She had a nasty little habit, and now a days she can be found running around Fuller Park, still prostituting due to her need for attention.

But after he was diagnosed with cancer he was forced to tell him everything…every. seedy. thing. Towards the end, while Isabelle was watching her father die, he asked her to take over, and to pull the support keeping him alive so that he went out of the world strong. Isabella has since taken over running both the public and underbelly of the King Hotel Chain.

When she was at her lowest point, right before her father died, she was partying and drinking every single night. There was a night she took a few too many drugs and ended up being assaulted by more than one person, left in an alleyway to die. After she came to, she went to her best friend to clean up and within a few weeks her worst fears were imagined…she is currently a month and a half pregnant.

<strong>SHORT BIOGRAPHY: </strong><br /></p>

Isabella was born into the life of privileged, and boy did the world let her know. Her father, an Italian Immigrant who had fled with her mother at a young age due to religious prosecution, had fought and clawed his way up in the world until he finally got where he wanted…the CEO of Kings Hotel Chain, one of the most luxurious hotel chains in the world. Their daughter, Bella, was the light of their life. Literally everything they did revolved around her in some way and she was never for want of anything. That was until she was four years old, when her mother got sick and passed away, her father showered her with nannies and their affection instead of giving her the time she deserved from her own dad.

Despite no real structure, Isabella did not grow up horrible. She was smart, understanding, excelled in school, and even graduated from Harvard as one of the top students in her class. She was sober during her pregnancy but afterwards, she started to get back into abusing, which no one knows about. She fears someone’s going to find out and threaten to take her daughter away.

Her daughter belongs to the gang member she had been seeing, but she couldn’t bring herself to tell him right away. She was afraid he wouldn’t want it or worse, force her to abort. So she made the executive decision to not tell him until she feels the time is right

Shea Bennett was born to Victoria and Kevin Bennett and she adored her parents. From an early age, Shea looked up to them and saw them as a role model. For the majority of her childhood, things were simple. Sweet. Not extravagant by any means, but decent enough that Shea never wanted anything more in her life. She showed a great interest in poetry and reading at an early age, and while traveling to and from California to visit her aunt, fell in love with the idea of becoming an author. Her aunt was extremely free spirited, almost gypsy like in the way she lived, a true Wiccan to the core. And always made sure that Shea followed her heart no matter where it led her.
</p><p>
At the age of ten, her world was rocked when she discovered that her father had been killed in a hit and run accident. Her mom moved them to California to live with her aunt, not being able to handle the grief of staying in New York. She went to high school and started working part time at a local coffee shop. She excelled in everything she set her mind to — cheerleading captain, volunteer work, multiple languages — anything to keep her mind distracted from the fact that her dad abandoned her to fend for herself basically.

After high school, Shea decided to go to UCLA for English and Psychology. But unfortunate circumstances had her expelled from campus. Trying to make ends meet, she worked on and off at various jobs for the next few years, but nothing felt quite fulfilling and she knew she made a mistake by throwing her life away. Her mother ended up committing suicide, and after too much heartbreak in Cali, decided to go back to her real home, Chicago. After a drunken night hooking up with an old flame, it resulted in her getting pregnant. Not having the heart to abort, she didn’t tell the father because he was heavily involved in the gang scene. Her daughter is now about to turn two and Shea works as the owner and barista of Cold Brew Cafe.

During her time there they would force pills, needles, and anything they could into the boys and girls of the facility, causing most to become addicts. Terrin, being a back talker was punished hard for her choices. Sent to a room with no windows and only a big metal door she would be raped and drugged often. Her secret isn’t the facility she was locked in, it was the fact that while there she got pregnant by one of the guards and was sent to get an abortions

Once getting out of this facility she was pissed off at her parents, mainly her mother. Her mom was the one who sent her away due to finding out that her mother cheated on her father. So at the age of almost 15/16 when her mom was home banging her lover in her fathers office she took a gun she found and shot them both. But thankfully her father had connections, making it look like a robbery turned bad.

As a child Terrin was well off in a beautiful rustic home in Chicago, had a lovely mother and father who made sure she had whatever she wanted. She did have a brother who was older, but when they were growing up he was diagnosed with cancer, causing him to pass away— this is why she started to spiral and added to why her mother sent her away. By the time she was 12 her brother would’ve been 16, but even though he was gone she was friends with her brothers friends. They supplied her with the drinks or weed and she would just get fucked up with them— it was the only thing to numb the pain of missing her best friend. Once her mother found out what had happen she was threatening to send her to a rehab, but as she did so, Terrin found her mother sleeping with a guy who was good friends with her father. Being angry she threatened to tell her father so her mom sent her away to Idaho to a facility for behavior, or so what it was. (This ties in to her secret.) during her time in the facility she became an addict, even heavier than before, so when coming home and high on heroin she found her mother sleeping with this man yet again, so she shot them both point blank— her father helped her cover this up, and she was the one who only found them dead. Now being 23 Terrin owns her own barber shop and is pretty well off. She still has kept her vices of drug use and drinking, but she has never let that stop her from succeeding.

Arising from the streets of Federal Way neighborhood, most individuals don’t have much connection with any of the politician’s that control the city of Chicago. The politician began taking an interest in Dante when he started gaining attention for his boxing skills; often being labeled as the next up and coming star of the ring. It didn’t take long for the politician to begin making appearances before and after Dante’s matches to give a ‘good word’ of luck to the young male. The politician also made numerous, large sum bets on Dante’s matches, always in his favor. The two could be seen having dinner at one of the politician’s favorite restaurants, or presenting awards to upcoming, rising youth athletes with one another.

Dante was the first in his family to make it to college - ever. The male was there on a full academic scholarship and his entire family was proud of him for beating the odds and making it out of Chicago. In need of money, Dante joined an underground boxing world where he would fight for money. It didn’t take long for the gig to get busted, and Dante was expelled from the university. Unable to come back home in fear of disappointing his family, he spent the next three years of ‘college’ homeless and on the streets, selling drugs, and fighting to make money. He called in a favor to his politician friend who helped obtain falsified documents of diplomas and transcripts for whenever needed.

Shortly after Dante lost the boxing title he held, he spent most of his days in an intoxicated blur. While his wife was working, he was told to watch their daughters. Their youngest daughter, Camila, was intrigued by anything and everything. While Dante was passed out on the couch, sleeping off his substance use, his daughter got into some cleaning supplies that she had ingested. His eldest daughter woke him up to take her sister to the hospital, where the eldest explained to doctor’s that it was her fault, and accepted blame for her father’s mistake. Dante refused to tell anyone that it was him being neglectful to their children, and his wife still has no idea.

<strong>SHORT BIOGRAPHY: </strong><br /></p>

Born and raised in the windy city, Dante’s upbringing was quite typical of what you see on the south side of Chicago. He and his three siblings learned from an early age that family doesn’t mean everything. Dante’s mother worked multiple jobs to support her children and battle her own demons. Things were beginning to look uphill for the family until Dante’s father made an appearance once again. It was like the man brought out the worst in everyone he was around. His mother was soon skipping work, and leaving the children to fend for themselves while she and her estranged husband did whatever substances they could get their hands on. Being the eldest, Dante felt responsible for making sure his siblings were taken care of. School and sports became an outlet for Dante to escape the feelings of being pressured to be responsible and mature beyond his years.
</p><p>
When news came that Dante had received a full ride scholarship to college, he was thrilled; and so was his family. The first in generations to be going to college, he felt the pressure settle in already. The taste of freedom in college was nice and it allowed for him to explore what he wanted to do in life. It was there that he found his passion; boxing. After his years of college, Dante began working as much as possible to make his name known in the boxing world. After gaining widespread attention, he was often viewed as the next up-coming star in the ring where famous celebrities and politicians were betting in favor of him. After a few public intoxication stunts with his team, Dante had received some backlash from the public eye. More unfortunate events followed as his wife, Melanie and his youngest daughter, Camila were killed on the Amtrak attack. Suicidal ideations became the norm, Dante was drowning every thought with any substance he could get his hands on. After a blurred night that he wound up in jail, he lost custody of his four year old daughter. He’s currently on probation, trying to work back the reputation he once had, and regain custody of his daughter once more while living in a low income, crime ridden apartment in Federal Way.

Despite his charming persona the male is technically married, though the marriage is, in fact, a farce and a means to get easy money, so he could send his family a bigger lump sum of money. He has no love for this woman, and only makes an appearance when he knows that there’s a scheduled interview for their file-which he hacks into his social worker’s computer. The marriage is new and the wife stays Milwaukee while he works “construction” he’s not always around, but still sends her some money. Of course, if anyone found out his marriage was a farce not only would he be breaking a law, he could be deported. While it might be nice to be with his family he’s not sure he could survive in a homeland that he’s never been too, or say goodbye to the American lifestyle.

The male has made himself a cozy position in an illegal group of people who are trying to help more and more immigrants back into the united states. He’s never cared about politics but was big on helping others get out of whatever situation they were in and to get a piece of the American dream. He considers his work more of a big picture than it really is a crime, and he’s been very cautious and covered all of his tracks to keep his work going and keep his digital imprint clean and clear.

Santiago Reyes was born to an immigrant family who’d traveled to America with the dream to do better, to live better, and lead for a better tomorrow. With Santiago born in America, he’s actually a dreamer and was granted citizenship while his parents continued to hide and secretly live in America. From an early age, he was taught to always have an escape plan, never do anything to be in the spotlight, and more importantly to follow the rules and remember that every day was a gift. He was gifted and beyond smart, his mother worked in a sweatshop and his father worked as a day labor, money might have been tight but there was never a shortage of love in the Reyes household. As a child to illegal immigrants, the kid was oftentimes the quiet boy in class who was always kept to himself. He never pushed interest or dared to be more than a wallflower, he went to school, came home to help his mother with unpaid overtime and that was his day. He was taught to never speak their home language outside of those walls, to be polite, and never question authorities.
</p><p>

During his freshman year in high school, he got involved with a robotics team, he was naturally capable of solving mathematical problems. That with his natural computer savy it wasn’t unnatural for that to be the first year that his high school team won, and he was in the local newspaper. His whole life turned upside down, and after going to nationals and winning, he came home to the realization that his very happy pivotal moment in his life turned to shit. His parents had been detained and were being sent back to their homeland, he came home to an empty apartment, no explanation, no family, and no idea what came next. There was always a plan and the family down the hall, also immigrants took him in, and until he turned eighteen he was just a burden on another family, with the same rules he’d grown up with to live by. At eighteen he was grateful however unwilling to be a burden to anyone else, and got his own place, enrolled in community college, taking just about every course possible to get a degree in computer sciences, and continued to further his education.
</p><p>

Over the years he’d faced some problems, problems that were solved at a price, he wasn’t sure exactly how or when he got so involved with the gang, but soon he was answering calls, doing things without asking questions. He was so tired and mad at the rules and authority that came with the “American Dream” he wanted to see a change in the world and he wanted others to feel that pain and fright he lived with every day. Since the events with the train he’s kept to himself, he can’t believe what he’s done and for once a pang of new guilt has settled in him. Now he’s just hoping that like the city he helped to destroy he can rebuild and be a better person.

Drinking, did drugs, slept around; you name it, he’s probably done it. He was hanging out with his best friend; Charley, one night. They were drinking, so Bell decided to drug Charley’s drink. Once she was high off her ass, he raped her. He’s always heard she had a thing for him, so he thought why not? She tried pushing Bellamy off, even scratched his side. That didn’t stop him. He continued, accidentally killing her in the process. Since then, he’s trying to change. He was so devastated after killing Charley; she was his best friend.

His mom sleeping around, just ended with two more pregnancies. He was a big brother to two baby girls.

Entering high school and with everything going on, Bellamy got into the wrong crowd. That’s when he started drinking, getting into drugs and before he was able to follow in his father’s footsteps, he followed his mother’s; started to sleep around. In his junior year, he slept with one of his friends. Ending with him knocking her up. Before the baby was born, they decided to be together for the sake of the baby. However, after a few days of the baby being born, the mother upped and left them. Leaving Bellamy to fend for their little guy alone.
</p><p>
When he was at the age of 19, his mother passed away from sexual diseases. His father decided to pack them up, along with Bellamy’s son and head off to Chicago, Illinois. His father got Bellamy a job and told him to do anything on the side, that he’d want. So after getting his own place in Oak Grove Village, he decided to follow his dreams and start writing and drawing. Trying to change and get himself on the right path. However, his father started a new MC gang. But when Julian was killed, the gang leader had Bellamy move up in rank.

Now at the age of 28 and his son at 3, he moved up at Neon Nightclub. He also decided to open a studio to pursue his drawings even more, also making it into a tattoo parlor.

After the disappearance of Brian Hennly - Eden’s best friend, both his girlfriend and their mutual friend Greyson pinned that night on Eden. Although Eden refused to talk about that night and possibly getting less time on  his sentence  to the psych ward he did the 8 years. During his time he spent it drawing until his art was perfect. Once out he opened Graveyard Ink, sure it’s the typical tattoo shop but what no one knows is that down in the basement he peels the flesh off his enemies and tattoos the fresh skin. He makes his money by selling the skin art overseas.

Is there any possibility that it could have been a bad dream?” For half of Eden’s adolescent life his therapist had asked these questions as if she had been grooming him for his father’s case, not the first but the second. He’d grown up in New York where his mother had been a lawyer and his father a doctor so he knew that no matter whom he spoke to they’d do what they could to make Eden’s story fit his father’s narrative of the night. Their version had been that Eden had been sleep walking, he walked in on his parents who had been held at gunpoint by intruders, there was no girl but his father wrestled the gun away causing it to go off right into Eden’s shoulder, things went black.

“No, nothing I could recall. When your mother is a big time lawyer in the big apple and your father a surgeon you have everything.. Mostly. “ He admitted  gazing out the window wanting to be anywhere but here but it was a court order visit or else it was back to the loony bin and he wanted nothing more than to begin his life again free. Eden didn’t remember that night as everyone else did and when he talked about it they put him on meds that made him feel like a prisoner in his own body. Grace had only been a newborn at the time but who was the girl he vividly recalled that night? Had he really been crazy?

Eden James Bellamy, the golden child amongst three.. Or was it two? He’d always sworn he remembered having an older sister but as he grew older he saw less and less until she faded from the photos on the wall. He vividly remembered seeing the girl again with his father and screaming, woods and cold grass beneath his feet. When he woke up however he’d been in the hospital with his parents attempting to do damage control telling him of what happened that night. The truth remains buried deep in his mind, blocked by little white lies and broken promises.By age seventeenth Eden was thriving; his good looks, charming personality and a tongue as sharp as a freshly sharpened blade had attracted many. People knew him all over New York only because of his parents, he called this his super power when wanting something just out of reach. He became fascinated with a girl a year younger than him, he called her Rose for she was the most beautiful flower in the garden of New York, at least to him. It wasn’t her name of course but he enjoyed keeping her to himself, things were always better in secret. The two grew pretty close, Rose would go with him and his gang of lost boys wherever they went and for the most part would enjoy the chaos they created

. They were the untouchables who could get out of almost anything, even murder. It was the last week of summer when they’d all go their separate ways. Their parents expected them to go off to college or at least a trade school to further their lives, so they knew they had to make this summer one to remember. They took a trip out to Pennsylvania if you knew where to go you’d head out to the woods, if you looked long enough you could find the mountain of rocks that visitors used to jump into the clear water below. On their second day their clear waters had been clouded with  red and it had been enough for all of them to never cross paths again. Four went out but only three came home. When people began to notice the absence of the fourth news began to travel, a search was called  and each ended up at the sheriff’s station for questioning. For the most part everyone’s story lined up but it was the coldness of Eden’s eyes that made the authorities question if there had been more to the story. Had they hurt their so-called friend? Or had they simply been looking too far into it? No one had a warrant until a month later when some hikers found a smashed phone right around where the group had camped out. They had smashed the phone but someone forgot to destroy the sims card. The police took it into evidence finding a video with no sound of Rose and Eden,  it was clear that there had been an altercation that night. They also found photos of the boy who had gone missing with each of the suspects in a group photo.  Again they were all pulled in for a more extensive questioning but everyone kept to their stories.

A week later Rose and Greyson changed their stories and pinned it all on Eden. The cops arrived at his home to arrest him on July 4th and they held him for 48 hours. Thanks to his mother he was released, his parents begged him to tell the police the truth of that night but he refused knowing that if they didn’t take him he’d seek revenge on his so called lover and friend. He never went to trial and his parents made sure it kept out of the news. His lawyer managed to talk the charges down claiming Eden had been under a lot of pressure and had a psychological break that night. The donation check from his family kept the victim’s family quiet and the judge ruled in his favor. He served eight years in the psych ward at the old Pomona Hospital. Eight long years later and Eden was released, it wasn’t hard to get back on his feet and he could thank his parents for that. Worried Eden might fall back into the same lifestyle in New York she reached out to a friend in Chicago for a favor, he was a politician who owed her a favor. Eden was given a second chance at starting new, completely new. He opened up Graveyard Ink downtown. A few months later he’d been sent a message on instagram from Rose. Just seeing her name made his heart race with rage. She claimed she wanted to talk and “fix things” but the only thing on Eden’s mind had been revenge. He agreed for her to come out and visit but the moment she was about to get off the train everything went BOOM. The bomb had been set off causing Rose to be a casualty amongst many, she did survive but she lost the baby.

Lashing out Bethany began to worry about what that meant for the future that her and her father had planned together. So after his new woman had moved in. Bethany set a plan into play of leaving notes when her father wasn’t around for his girlfriend to find with blackmail of her sleeping with other business people her father had worked with. Overtime in the next month or so the girlfriend ended up leaving her father. Happy with what she did, she became the caring daughter encouraging him that he didn’t need his ex in his life.

Bethany was born to CEO of Harrington Stocks, Steven Harrington and her mother Lisa Harrington. Within in the first few months of life Bethany’s mother left both her and her father saying that she could no longer stay with Steven. Steven was heartbroken and struggling to run his company and raise his daughter. He hired nanny’s to take care of her until she was old enough to take care of herself. But made she was always loved. Christmas was full of presents of everything she had wished for, as well as her birthday’s. When Bethany was older she could see it was a way of him making up for her not having her mother in her life. When she was in her teenage years she went through a rebellious streak of hanging out with the kids that hung out in the Highland Heights going to house parties, or doing drugs.  Her father found out and sat her down and told her that if she ever wanted a chance to take over the company she had to get her shit together.

Cleaning herself up, she stopped seeing who she called her friends, turning her nose up at them and insulting them of how they looked and where they lived. Bethany studied, hung out with her father’s friends kids, going shopping for the high end clothes, eating at top rated restaurants she was turning into someone who would be able to run a company. She got a job at the Three Dots to help put money into her own pocket and had plans on buying it out when she got enough money along with the money that was in her Grandmother’s trust when she turned 28. She had big plans for herself now. A lot of her friends would say that Bethany is full of herself, looks out only for herself as well. But that is something she’s seen all her life with how her father was. Once the rumors of the Mickey Gang started circling around she was dead set on making sure she had what was hers and was not going to let anyone take it away. She would do what she had to, lie, cheat or steal.. maybe even kill.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to a Fire Chief and a Pediatric Nurse, Blaise Steele was born to serve his community. His childhood was better than most, he and his little sister were privileged children. They never wanted for anything or had to go to bed hungry. Blaise knew from a young age that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps because what little boy didn’t want to ride in a fire truck when he was grown. Blaise’s life was flipped upside down and ruined in a single night, his entire family was killed in a house fire, he was the only survivor. No family stepped up to take him in and the court system wouldn’t let him go live with his father’s best friend so he was thrown into the foster care system at eleven years old. Adjusting to the system was hard for him, he rebelled hard which only caused his foster father to beat him harder.

Aging out of the system at eighteen, Blaise found himself living on the streets with a baby on the way. His highschool sweetheart was pregnant and her parents were pissed. They were just teenagers and Blaise didn’t even have a place to live so how was he supposed to take care of her and the baby. He wanted a fresh start, Louisiana only held bad memories for him so when his girlfriend got accepted into The University of Chicago, he followed her. Moving to Chicago, Illinois was a breath of fresh air for Blaise. Strung out and fearful, Laine’s mother refused medical treatment, yet somehow, they both miraculously survived. However, death was looming for the innocent and impressionable girl’s mother. In fact, most of Laine’s childhood from birth onward remains a blur – a coping mechanism, surely – yet her mother’s death itself replays in her head. The memory is vivid. It is real. The troubled mother let out a blood-curdling scream that concluded with her gurgling on her own blood after a massive, shadowy figure attacked her. Laine was five-years-old and witnessed it.
</p><p>
The following day, a passerby heard the young girl’s cries and stumbled across an ungodly scene. They notified the authorities and Laine was transported to the hospital. At which point, they quickly realized the child was alone in the world and subsequently placed her in the foster care system, where she remained for many years thereafter. A direct consequence of her mother’s drug use while pregnant, Laine experienced hyperactivity, which was left untreated and disguised as bad behavior. This deterred any and all opportunities for adoption, but she hardly cared. Truth be told, she had little interest in entertaining the handful of seemingly lovely people who expressed interest in adopting her. Rather, she found solace loitering in cemeteries instead. Many found it peculiar, but she found it peaceful. Her fascination with blood, death and the afterlife only intensified as she got older.
</p><p>
Furthermore, Laine ultimately bounced from one home to the next, meeting countless people along the way, until she was eventually adopted by her maternal grandmother at sixteen-years-old. A self-proclaimed witch, Laine’s grandmother, Cordelia, more commonly known as Delia throughout NOLA, was outspoken and eccentric. It was during the years spent in the care of her grandmother that Laine discovered she was gifted as well, which caused her to be labeled as an outcast at school. Regardless, she managed to graduate high school, despite the odds stacked against her. Two years later, Laine’s grandmother died. Laine was devastated and found herself alone once again, or so she thought. At the funeral, the femme was introduced to James Sanders. Her estranged older brother. The discovery rocked her to the core, but somehow softened her cold exterior, enabling her to accept the man into her life, in spite of her deeply rooted abandonment issues.

Currently, Laine has relocated to be near her brother and lives in the River North, otherwise known as Oak Grove Village, neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Denver University with a degree in social work and is a case worker for Illinois Child Protective Services. Suri disliked her so much, and attempted to silence her bullying once and for all. One evening while brushing her teeth, Suri cornered her in the bathroom, purposefully pushing her out the window and into the frigid evening. She wanted her dead, in that moment. Suddenly feeling numb at what she had just done, girls gathered around her to see what had happened. The girl was rushed to the hospital immediately, where she survived with a broken arm and leg. It was never discovered that Suri was the cause, but she discovered a fire in her that evening of what she was capable of when provoked.

Now living in Chicago, Suri apprentices a middle aged gentleman named Sean who helped get her on her feet. However, while living with him she has seen many of his secrets. He has sworn her to secrecy, and has now held it against her. She is not allowed to ever leave, and is currently being forced to stay with him at his loft. She only knows that if she leaves there will be “consequences”. He often drinks and gets belligerently drunk, and one evening attempted and successfully took advantage of her sexually against her will. Scarred from the event, she feels trapped and is unsure how to get out of the situation she has fallen into.

Suri was born into chaos the moment that she was born into the world. Her mom was terrified and only 18 years old. She had no idea what to do with a new baby, and so she placed the tiny infant on the steps of a firehouse on a cold November evening with a note that read “Please give me a loving home.” The fire chief at the station found her hours later, wide eyes and a tuft of dark red hair staring up at him. He immediately called child services, which was the second most tragic thing to happen in her life. She was raised at an orphanage for most of her young childhood years. No one knew her name when she arrived, so the fire chief told the counselor “Call her Suri.” As for her last name Black, she was given it when she arrived. She has no idea what her actual last name is. Teased and bullied from a young age, she was forced to stand up for herself and get back at the other children. They eventually grew bored and left her alone after she threatened to set all of them on fire in their sleep. A loner, she got lost in her sketch pad and a pencil, drawing different scenes that she imagined in her mind.

At the age of 11 she finally was adopted, just in time for her to enter the awkward time of her life. The couple was older but saw potential in the strange girl. They turned out to be a very strange couple. The wife was nearly insane, and the husband was a Taxidermist. She often had nightmares in this new house, and planned how she would escape. That was until the husbands parents came to visit, her new “Grandparents.” They were sweet, kind, and everything she wanted in guardians. Every time they came, she begged them to take her with them, to which they would only laugh and shake their heads. Too afraid to interfere with their son but they could tell the desperation in the poor girls face. Fast forward to 7 years later, and Suri had somehow managed to graduate high school despite her daydreaming tendencies and lack of motivation for her studies. The first thing she did was break open her piggy bank and get on a one way train, escaping the hell away from the horrid family that had adopted her. She wound up in the city of Chicago, and slept that night on the bench outside of a coffee shop. Sean, a pottery artist found her the next morning on his early coffee run. He got her off her feet, offered her an apprenticeship and a place to stay in his loft upstairs. Though, she never trusted anyone for long, and her intuitions were always right

After Eden was institutionalized for 8 years, Presley reaches out to him begging to regain his trust, claiming her and Greyson had an abusive, toxic relationship. She was pregnant upon coming into town, but was on the train that was bombed causing her to miscarry the child. He reluctantly agrees to let her move in with him, where she is now. Her being a narcissist she often uses his past as a token to dangle over his head and get what she wants.

Presley is currently in the line of sex work, however she isn’t standing on a street corner begging for Johns. She is a sugar baby for one of the politicians causing all the havoc in the city. The pay of course being more than generous however, doesn’t compensate for the moral weight it holds on her soul. She has turned to heavy cocaine usage and alcoholism in order to cope with her own self inflicted trauma. She is doing her best to keep her position, and addiction a secret but often finds herself unable to explain certain situations she wanders into. She had an off again, on again relationship with a boy named Eden, that ended in fiery disaster which ended up changing her entire life. Without diving into specifics, she ended up watching as Eden was shipped off to a mental institution for 8 long years, while she continued on a romantic relationship with his friend.

The 8 years Eden was institutionalized, Presley attempted to create any kind of normalcy in her life, but her inability to let go of her relationship with Greyson her traumatic past stayed in her face. She ended up severing her relationship with her parents, and in what would be considered a violent relationship with Greyson, hit the self destruct button any time a glimpse of a normal life came about. Upon hearing of Eden’s release, she jumped at the chance to be able to leave. She knew leaving to live with Eden wouldn’t allow her to get rid of her past, but it would allow her to bury it wherever he buried his which was enough for her. Shortly after arriving to Chicago, she was on the train that was bombed, ending the life of her unborn child but her herself surviving.
</p><p>
The slew of secrets, trauma, and self destruction all boiled in her. She now works as a sugar baby for a dirty politician, and has an extreme dependency on cocaine and alcoholism. With her abundance of skeletons in her closet, she is an excellent secret keeper for anyone she considers a friend, and is overly persuasive, making her keen on being able to get what she wants, when she wants it. Though she has bigger dreams for herself, she often finds that her same old abilities of self destruction get in her way,
