An apology

Hey all,

I don't want to make too much of a spectacle over this, but I do owe this server a few things, the foremost of which being an apology. Recently, I resigned from staff and left the server. While these events were for separate reasons, I should have resigned from staff a long time ago. I hurt a lot of people without realizing it and refused to listen to criticism. If you were one of those people, I'm sorry. You deserved better. There are a lot of reasons why I acted the way I did, and if you'd like to know them, you may ask in private, but this is not the time for self-aggrandizing and they're no excuse to hurt anyone. Doom did what he needed to do. My behavior was not excusable and I should have realized I was no longer in a mental state to occupy a moderation role. Doom did the appropriate thing under the circumstances, with the information he had, and I do not fault him at all. He has been patient, understanding, and forgiving, especially in the light of my conduct.

I do not resent the community at all. It's the exact opposite, in fact, I've missed all of you, and the break I took helped me recenter myself and realize how poor my conduct was. Beginning immediately, I will be working to repair that relationship. I greatly appreciate above all the people that reached out to me when I left - I needed that, and it made me realize just to what extent I'd drifted. I have restored the SL region to its original state as FPI and it shall remain that way permanently. If you have any questions regarding the conclusion of what happened, you may ask Doom or I, but be aware some things were shared in confidence and I have no intent to betray it.

I'm sorry for the hurt I caused, and I'm going to take some time now to mend the ties with the community by participating as a member. Thank you for the good times, love, patience, and support.
