- Appearance: Slingshot Merge is a female humanoid similar to Flora Merge in appearance but with a flat chest and dressed in an outfit similar to Archery Mode’s but with a more ninja-inspired motif rather than a Robin Hood one, being dressed in a green ninja’s robe with a matching scarf and a fishnet top with sleeves underneath, a pair of black shorts, fishnet stockings, moss green fingerless gloves with matching boots and a ninja headband on her forehead with an X symbol. Slingshot Merge has strawberry pink hair with green highlights tied into a long ponytail. Slingshot Merge wields a six foot long, green, staff-like slingshot with a frame resembling the jaws of a stag beetle, four long strips of indestructible rubber connected to the frame on one end and a dark green pouch on the other ends and black tape around the middle of the pole where Slingshot Merge would usually hold it. Slingshot Merge usually carries her slingshot on her back when not in use.
- Powers & Abilities
- - Slingshot Mastery - Slingshot Merge is an expert marksman with masterful skill in using her slingshot(s) as a weapon that is more powerful than any firearm, having unmatched marksmanship and proficiency in handling her unique, staff-like slingshot known as the Giga Mushi and having the capability of utilizing nearly anything as sufficient ammunition with sharp accuracy and skill, but it’s her unique arsenal of specialized ammo that makes her a truly daunting sniper to go up against at close range or from a distance. Slingshot Merge can fire projectiles from her slingshot across impressive distances, the longer she pulls back her sling, the further and faster her ammunition will travel and the heavier they will hit as well. Slingshot Merge is even armed with an arsenal of different “Models” of slingshots, each having unique functions and capabilities that often alters how her ammunition functions in unique and useful ways. - - Trick Ammo - Slingshot Merge comes loaded with an exceptionally diverse array of specialized ammo of her creation known as Rumble Balls, named so due to their round, jawbreaker-like appearance, which she uses as her main source of ammunition for her slingshots. These golf ball-sized Rumble Balls are capable of a wide range of unique effects and functions that activate upon hitting their targets or even seconds upon firing, such as exploding, ice, fire, electricity, acid, poison gas, immobilizing enemies in glue, nets or even vines and much, much more, making Slingshot Merge a very versatile Merge Mode with a diverse range of capabilities in combat, having a Rumble Ball for almost any situation and she can combine/stack the effects of Rumble Balls by alternating between them. Slingshot Merge even possesses other forms of unique ammunition aside from her Rumble Balls such as caltrops, water balloons and even eggs. - - Engineering Mastery - Slingshot Merge is a highly intelligent, creative and resourceful inventor and is naturally proficient in crafting both in terms of mechanical and chemical engineering, the area of expertise in her craftsmanship of course, pertains to her slingshots and Rumble Balls. Slingshot Merge is capable of repairing, modifying and upgrading her slingshot and even create new ones when given the proper inspiration and resources to do so, said new Models of slingshot becoming available for her to use by having her signature slingshot, Giga Mushi transform into them on command by programming the schematics of new models into it. Slingshot Merge is also capable of reloading on specific Rumble Balls and even invent new types by crafting them as well, the full recipes of each Rumble Ball type being preprogrammed into her mind and she can even upgrade her Rumble Balls by changing their recipes, such as making her explosive ones more powerful.
- - Slingshot Combat - Slingshot Merge is capable of flawlessly combining the use of her slingshot with physical combat, utilizing it and her trick ammunition in direct combat, utilize unique techniques incorporating her slingshots and even using her slingshots as melee weapons in a similar fashion to Bōjutsu.
- - Strategic Mastery - Slingshot Merge is a highly strategic and tactical sniper capable of formulating ingenious maneuvers and strategize xtremely well at any given moment such as using her environment to her advantage, calculating and predicting trajectory angles to perform impressive trick shots, using the right ammo to deal the most damage to specific enemies, formulate attack plans in record time to take out entire groups of enemies one by one, improvise ammo and use almost any object in her environment as a suitable projectile, such as rocks.
- - Supernatural Marksmanship - Much like Archery Merge, Slingshot Merge is an xtremely proficient marksman with unmatched accuracy thanks to her high-tech eye that allows her to zoom in long distances and lock onto targets combined with her highly strategic mind and exceptional skill in using slingshots as formidable weapons. Slingshot Merge is almost incapable of missing a target no matter how far away they are nor how hard of a target they appear to be, having the pinpoint accuracy and analytical prowess to strike exactly where she needs to no matter how difficult by analyzing many factors in her environment and current situation, allowing her to hit targets from xtreme distances, hit small and hard to land targets, hit weak spots etc. even Optical is impressed by the feats in marksmanship Fusion-X has displayed as Slingshot Merge.
- - Indomitable Will - Slingshot Merge possesses an unbreakable will that allows her to come back fighting no matter what the circumstances may be, making her a hard opponent to keep down, willing to go through incredible levels of pain and damage and find the resolve to win the fight against an enemy she seemingly has no chance of defeating. Slingshot Mode’s incredibly strong will allows her to resist and fight through many crippling conditions such as burns, poisoning, paralysis, rusting, mental attacks/torment etc.
- - Enhanced Condition - Slingshot Merge possesses levels of speed, agility, endurance, flexibility and senses significantly above a human being and instead more on Optical’s level while her physical strength and durability is moderately above human as well, allowing her to easily overpower enemies that are at peak human condition. Slingshot Merge even possesses greatly enhanced speed when utilizing her slingshot, firing and reloading projectiles faster than anyone to easily bombard enemies.
- - Enhanced Stealth - Slingshot Merge possesses exceptional expertise in stealth that allows her to sneak, hide and prowl without being detected, often using her environment to camouflage and make herself undetectable by enemies, making her a more efficient sniper and sneak attacker as a result. Slingshot Mode’s light weight also allows her to run without making virtually any noise.

- - Atom Balls - Rumble Balls that explodes in atomic explosions with the force of a small hydrogen bomb.
- - Dragon Bombs - Rumble Balls contained within in the jaws of a dragon’s skull that bursts into a massive energy construct in the shape of a mighty dragon that deals immense damage to whatever target it is aimed at.
- - Comet Balls - Rumble Balls that generates celestial plasma after being shot, leaving a trail of said energy while traveling through the air, resembling a small comet as a result and bursting in a powerful explosion of stardust upon hitting their target.
- - Tabasco Balls - Rumble Balls that releases red slime that burns on contact as well as induces watery eyes and unbearable spicy pain in one’s mouth if any of the slime gets in their mouth, essentially acting as xtremely strong hot sauce.
- - Oil Balls - Orange colored Rumble Balls that release highly flammable oil upon hitting a target which Slingshot Merge can then follow up with a Pyro Ball, Bomb Ball or Tabasco Balls for xtreme fire-based damage.
- - Cement Balls - Grey Rumble Balls that releases a quick hardening, cement-like slime that immobilizes enemies like living statues.
- - Bubble Balls - Pink Rumble Balls that bursts into a giant, virtually pop proof bubble that encapsulates it’s target(s) inside.
- - Fresh Eggs - Literally eggs that Slingshot Merge can sling at enemies to disorient them and potentially blind them if aiming for their eyes, a more comedic form of ammunition for sure but useful in a pinch.
- - Rotten Eggs - Green eggs with yellow spots that releases terrible smelling slime swarming with harmful bacteria, hindering sense such as sight and smell due to the slime’s strong scent and inducing effects similar to food poisoning as well.
- - Paint Balloons - Water balloons filled with colorful paint that is useful for blinding enemies and disorienting them as well.
- - Swarm Beetles - Ammo shaped like golden beetles that bursts into a swarm of robotic beetles that attack enemies with painful bites seconds after firing.
- - Biting Bats - A purple Rumble Ball with small horns and red eyes that bursts into a swarm of energy constructs in the shape of bats capable of absorbing life force from targets.
- - Caltrop Bomb - A capsule that releases sharp caltrops upon bursting that are xtremely painful to step on.
- - Steel Stars - Literally Shurikan.
- - Beast Treats - Ammo taking the form of cookies shaped like paw prints that are capable of temporarily taming any kind of animal or beast imaginable when consumed, Slingshot Merge firing the cookies straight into their mouths.
- - Holy Hand Grenade - A device resembling a golden incense ball embedded with jewels that releases a burst of holy water to do devastating damage to demonic enemies.

- - Giga Mushi - A tried and true classic. Giga Mushi is Slingshot Mode’s default signature weapon that excels in both distance and accuracy and can also increase in size at Slingshot Mode’s command to allow Slingshot Mode to launch herself from it like a living projectile but has no outstanding qualities outside of that.
- - Chibi Mushi - A smaller version of the Giga Mushi more resembling a traditional, handheld slingshot with two threads instead of four. Chibi Mushi is more suited for closer range shooting and combat due to it’s shorter strings and Slingshot Mode’s enhanced firing speed allowing for the capability of rapid firing projectiles at the speed of a machine gun at the cost of decreased projectile traveling distance.
- - Death’s Eye - A spooky slingshot with a bone motif, a frame shaped like an eye and a skull at the base of where the pole and the frame meet. Death’s Eye imbues anything shot from it with a homing ability, turning them into heat-seeking projectiles that relentlessly chases targets until they land. Said projectiles also gain an aura of ghostly energy while traveling, as if their possessed.
- - Ventus Shot - A blue and white, bird-themed slingshot with a frame shaped like a pair of bird-like wings and a bird-like face/skull at the base of where the pole and the frame meet. The Ventus Shot imbues whatever is shot from it with the power of wind and causes them to travel in a spiral formation, spinning at speeds great enough to form a tornado with the properties of the ammo in question, such as a Pyro Ball becoming a powerful, fiery cyclone or a Tornado Ball shot from the Ventus Shot becoming twice as strong and more resembling a hurricane.
- - Scatter Swarmer - A butterfly-themed slingshot with a color scheme reminiscent of a monarch butterfly and a frame resembling a monarch’s wings. The Scatter Swarmer causes projectiles fired from it to multiply into a dozen additional duplicates to bombard enemies in a rain of projectiles, such as a single Thunder Ball becoming a certified lightning storm.
- - Big Bertha - A red slingshot with a frame resembling a giant pair of red, womanly lips with a set of “teeth” that opens like a gate whenever a projectile is about to be launched. Big Bertha causes any projectile shot from it’s “mouth” to dramatically increase in size, becoming ten times larger and just as powerful at the cost of cut accuracy, a Hydro Ball for instance becoming capable of inducing an actual flood.
- - Bubble Buster - A pink slingshot resembling a giant bubble wand. The Bubble Buster encapsulates any projectile shot from it in a large, pink bubble seconds after firing, causing it to float and drift slowly in the air and Slingshot Merge can use these ammo containing bubbles strategically in many ways, sacrificing firing speed and traveling distance as a result.
- - Portal Shot - A high-tech slingshot with a hexagonal frame and a yellow portal being projected within said frame. The Portal Shot causes projectiles to enter a portal that is projected within it’s frame upon firing where it will then exit through another portal that appears in accordance to the coordinates that Slingshot Merge programs into the Portal Shot, making said projectiles much more unpredictable and difficult for enemies to anticipate and avoid. This slingshot was made with A.I. Keen’s help, being made with his proprietary technology.
- - Dragon King - A green and white slingshot with a frame resembling the skull of a horned dragon that opens it’s jaws whenever a projectile is about to be launched. The Dragon King supercharges projectiles with draconic energy, causing them to be fired from it’s “mouth” as a cataclysmic laser beams capable of dealing immense damage and said beam possesses the traits of the projectile used, such as a Frost Ball becoming a devastating, cryogenic laser.
- - Zen Master - A mystical slingshot made of pure jade with a frame resembling the horns of a kabuto helmet and a projection of the Yin-Yang symbol made of chi within the frame. The Zen Master allows Slingshot Merge to freeze projectiles in thin air via an aura of chi energy that encompasses the projectile seconds after firing them, the longer a projectile stays paused in air, the more kinetic energy is built up, that projectile’s speed and power becoming greater as a result and by tapping the ground with the Zen Master, the projectiles will be released and do drastically more damage as well as fly through the air even faster in accordance to how much time it was given to build up. Multiple projectiles can even be paused and fired all at once at any time.
- - Arcane Sniper - A magical, purple slingshot with a frame resembling a giant dreamcatcher. The Arcane Sniper imbues projectiles with magical properties upon being fired, transforming them into magical variants that potentially do more damage and utilize mystical properties, allowing Slingshot Merge to exploit a weakness to magical attacks that an enemy may possess, such as a Venom Ball bursting into a swarm of snake shaped constructs of magical poison capable of poisoning inorganic entities or magical beings who wouldn’t be effected by regular poison, such as a golem.
- Weaknesses
- - Limited Ammo - Slingshot Merge has a limited store of each type of Rumble Ball and can run out if seeks too liberal with her shots until she can make more, some Rumble Balls are more plentiful than others and some of the more powerful ones are typically the less plentiful.
- - Lack of Resources - Slingshot Merge can’t make more Rumble Balls or make significant upgrades to her slingshot without the proper resources or ingredients.
- - Limited Strength - Slingshot Merge is a relatively feeble Merge Mode that can be easily overpowered by enemies of above human strength and possessing superior fighting skills in direct combat. Slingshot Merge excels best as a long ranged fighter and sniper as a result.
- - Limited Durability - Slingshot Merge is a comparatively frail Merge Mode that can’t take too much punishment but her indomitable will and determination makes up for this.

- - Slingshot Mode and her abilities are heavily inspired by Usopp from One Piece.
- - Slingshot Merge is another one of my favorites among the Merge Modes of my creation.
- - Slingshot Merge is another example of a Merge Mode Relative, being Archery Mode’s sister.
- - Slingshot Merge has a personality similar to a snarky, sardonic yet very intelligent goth girl and is partially inspired by Daria Morgendorffer from Daria.
- - Slingshot Merge speaks with a Japanese accent.
- - Slingshot Merge is one of many Merge Modes that causes Fusion-X to gain a preference/cravings for certain foods, being strawberries and green tea in her case (I like the idea of Merge Modes essentially having their own “favorite foods”).
- - Aside from Giga Mushi and Chibi Mushi, Slingshot Mode’s many models of slingshots aren’t available to Fusion-X at the beginning as they are created by him (as Slingshot Merge of course) as time passes, having a total of ten additional, unique slingshots by the time he becomes Fusion-MX.
- - If I had to imagine what a Plus Slingshot Merge would look like, I’d say she’d have a design reminiscent of a Hindu/Buddhist deity, being much taller (more than twelve feet tall), visibly more curvy and muscular, possessing four arms, adorned in attire reminiscent of the goddess Parvati, complete with an extravagant crown and wielding two golden slingshot staffs with frames resembling symbols representing the Wheel of Samsara. Plus Slingshot Mode’s new powers would be Ammo Transmutation and Manipulation as she can now transform anything into ammunition for her holy slingshots (named Alpha & Omega) whether it be physical objects such as stone or intangible forces such as wind or fire and said ammunition will possesses functions and qualities correlating with whatever they were created from, such as ammunition created from solar rays taking the form of a miniature sun that explodes with the force of a supernova. Plus Slingshot’s other noteworthy ability being Accelerated Perception, a state that she can enter that allows her to process information at such speeds that time appears to have slowed down for her, allowing her to essentially see in slow motion for a few moments and thus think and act much faster than others and plan out shots more effectively (basically the Dead Eye mechanic from Red Dead Redemption 2). Alternatively, Slingshot Merge can possess Accelerated Perception instead and her Plus Mode’s upgrade of this ability can be flat out Clairvoyance, being able to see into the future or even multiple outcomes at once to plan out the best strategies.
