- A shady man, wearing the full "suspicious person starter pack" (facemask, sunglasses, hat) and some dark robes, approaches a horizontal snow cyclone.
- "Are you Sir Ayumu?" the shady man asks.
- The snow cyclone then stops, turning back into a regular snow pile. From it, raises a humanoid figure, seemingly made of snow, the figure proceeds to remove the snow face as if it was a mask, which promptly crumbles on its snow hand, and not a second later, the snow layers covering the man's body follow suit, crumbling, caused by the removal of piece of its whole, finally revealing a black haired man afflicted by a tired expression.
- "Yes. That would be me." Ayumu replies.
- "Excellent." the shady man says as he wastes no time getting some thin, rectangular objects from within his robes, pieces of paper, letters, or perhaps photographs. "I'll show you a series of photographs," -so photographs they were- "and I would like you to share your thoughts on the people captured on them."
- ". . . Okay...?"
- And without uttering another word, the shady man proceeds to show the first photo:
- >Alex
- "I have never met that man, but my instincts say he's evil, and the archives I saw with Silas quite support that. Of course, I'm not above being ruthless or evil if I know it's for a good cause, but I kinda just feel like that path is often his first and preferred option. So while we probably wouldn't be hostile to each other, I sure wouldn't mind never meeting him."
- >Axel
- "I really like observing or listening to other people being passionate (mayhaps because I don't have much in terms or passion myself), so I actually enjoy listening to Axel ramble about his Bird Type Pokémon. Tho, I also think he's crazy, I have encountered some of the Legendary Birds on occasion, and it doesn't take much to know that fighting them is incredibly dangerous, and personally, I have no intention of exposing my Pokémon to that level of danger. . . even tho Hime really wanted to try..."
- >Bibi
- "Good kid, energetic, a little too energetic for my pace, but then again, that's how kids should be, even if I wasn't quite like that. . . I just wish she would stop asking to battle me... Also, and most important, she seems to be a 'protagonist' type, so she already had her fair share of hardships despite still being in the beginning of her journey, and I'm sure she'll have many more difficulties in the future, so I at least hope she'll be able to look back and say she enjoyed her journey. . . if she ever decides to settle down, that is."
- >Emily
- "She worries me a little bit. She's walking a quite lonely path, and dealing with loneliness is not something anyone can do, not to mention that her secondary objective is most likely fruitless... she wants to be an example to humanity, but knowing humans, I wouldn't be surprised if they instead started a religion about worshipping her and believing that she'll save them from everything, which is quite opposite to what she wants. Anyways, where was I? 'loneliness', yes, so, she herself seems to believe she's immune to falling to a darker path, but I worry that after reaching the absolute peak, with no one to stand on the same level, she would eventually give in and try to force others to try to ascend yo her level. But well, this is just a hypothesis, this version of me has no clairvoyance, so there's no way for me to know."
- "This version?"
- "I said nothing of the sort, let's keep going."
- >Grym
- "I honestly don't know much about her besides the fact that she wants to be a GYM Leader. However, for some reason, part of me wants to think of her as a Ghost Type Pokémon instead of a human, I wander why?"
- >Koa
- "Another good kid. Even if I'm a pathless fool, I do admire those who have a clear goal in mind, or somewhat clear, as he isn't entirely sure he'll be joining the E4 of Alola, tho traveling is pretty fun, at least that I can say, so I hope he does some at some point."
- >Orchis
- "Met him when I was asked to be a temporary teacher at that school in Paldea, what was its name again? Uva? Naranja? I can't recall. What I do recall however, is how one day I saw him disguised and calling himself 'Kingu' while doing some exhibition battles. It was fairly obvious that it was him, and it seems most, if not all, faculty members knew about it, but for some reason he acted like it was some big secret. Then, during the rest of my time there, it kinda became my hobby to tease him about his identity, some of his tentatives of deflection were wildly impressive."
- >Phos
- "Can't really say I 'met' that one. One day, I was in a hotel for a change, when one night, I heard running footsteps on the roof, and when I poked my head out of the window, I saw a shadowy figure running through the rooftops, so naturally, I jumped out of the window, released Ikari (Toucannon), and we flew real close to the dark clouds of the night, to observe what that figure was up to. And I'll say, it was the stuff of spy and action movies, very cool. But at the same time, an old man like me isn't going to be meddling in the affairs of the young, so I just kept watching from the skies."
- >Ruka
- "I really like her enthusiasm, both towards life and her journey, but specially towards her Pokémon. Gyarus do have that bright perspective in life, and she goes a step further on her love for her Pokémon. . . She and Bibi are similar in that aspect, they are bright, shining almost to a literal sense, and to a child of the darkness such as myself, it almost hurts my eyes to look at them sometimes."
- >Silas
- "He's a good guy, walking a not so good path. But I trust that he'll find his way, and allow himself to walk the bright path that he admires. And if he ever needs my help along the way, then I shall help him. After all, he's a fellow Mikufag, there's no way I wouldn't help. . . I just hope I'm close enough if he ever needs."
- >Tweny
- "A fascinating dude. I feel some kind of kinship towards him, like a kindred spirit, but at the same time, the workings of his mind are sometimes a mystery to me."
- >Vega
- "A lady with a heavy and unsolicited burden, living in a very interesting land, but is that land that interesting because it's a dream? or did it exist at some point? or maybe even still exists somewhere? Which leads me to question: Why do you have a photo of someone that only exists in a dream of mine?"
- "Eh?"
- "You heard me. It's suspicious enough that you have photos of all those people, but this is too much, so why- Actually, *who* are you?"
