- Common Class Card - Negate Magic
- Altera - Destroy civilization for high mana discounts and huge colorful power.
- Artoria - Negate Strength (and/or Magic, as usual), and unleash Excaliblast to hit hard on climax.
- Arthur - Negate Strength (and/or Magic, as usual), until you sacrifice them to make your Excaliblast hit harder.
- Barghest - Punish opponent's activated abilities, and gain high power from a triple-3 hand, which you can also preserve at the risk of relying on card draw luck to dictate when you can unleash it.
- Bedivere - Sacrifice remaining deck for cheap powerful bursts, while gradually becoming weaker with each deck cycle.
- Charlemagne - Cycle color-boosting Objectives while enhancing their effects on your skills.
- d'Eon - Parry opponent's attacks with your own equally-powered cards.
- Dioscuri - Double attack modifiers while dealing with attack restrictions that your skills can help work around.
- Gawain - Gamble on high-risk-high-reward committments for higher power, particularly through 3-power attacks.
- Iason - Send Argonauts on Quests so they get added to your attack when drawn from Objectives.
- Jacques - Forcibly generate Foreigners for other players while reducing their benefits for them.
- Lakshmibai - Play attacks when people move to you, including the option to kick them out.
- Musashi - Gain mastery from winning fights to power up your attacks.
- Mordred - Spend mana for proportionally (and potentially huge) power of your choice, with the flexibility of deferring the decision to Combat phase alongside other attack options.
- Muramasa - Burn basic attacks for power, and get one final chance to unleash all the burned attacks at once.

- Okita - Draw cards to hit harder, with the risk of randomly breaking down from your weak constitution with each draw.
- Saitou - Conditionally negate Agility and/or Strength cards, with the option to sacrifice the reliability of negation to potentially play more attacks for power.
- Siegfired - Lose successively more VP to protect yourself from effects and also from a weakness that would otherwise have been exposed from your cheaper (but still powerful) NP.
- Sigurd - Reveal NP to burn basic attacks to double their power (and maybe another NP to absorb mana), with each revealed NP extending color diversity but also continuously draining VP.
