I flattered the Princess with gifts and smiles, and she agreed to take me to the heart of the fountain.

Such drama! The wheezing of the bellows, the pumping of the liquids; the noise and the smells were overwhelming. The Princess smiled serenely. It was rare to see her looking so happy, in fact.
