- Low self-esteem
Rina has low self esteem and absolutely no confidence in her looks. She thinks that she's the ugliest in her group no matter what her members say. There was even once she considered plastic surgery but decided not to because no matter what, she wanted to remain natural. She always dismisses the compliments she gets for her vocals because she thinks it isn't good enough. To her, the other vocalists in the group are much better. Because of her low self-esteem, she's always seen trying to avoid the camera and would cover her face when she laughs because she thinks her teeth are ugly and overall looks ugly when she laughs.

- Gullible
She trusts her members a lot so when they prank her, she falls for them quite easily. Even if they pull the same trick on her multiple times, she always falls for them. Because of this, her members are always joking that she must be protected at all cost.
- Independent
Because she was an only child and her parents were always busy with work, she did everything herself. House chores, when she hurt herself, she would settle it all by herself. It then became a habit and she would always deny any offer to help her.
- hard working
She always thinks she's not working hard enough and it's partly her insecurities fault. She would work hard in anything she does, be it practising or even small things like keeping her skin clean. Because of these, she's hardly getting enough sleep.
- Funny
Rina only shows this side around the people she's comfortable with. She loves telling puns and dad jokes which make people roll their eyes. Seeing the people she cares about laugh or smile makes her happy which is why she's always trying to be funny.

ｂａｃｋｇｒｏｕｎｄ|
Rina grew up in Osaka, Japan. Her family consists of her mother, father and her, she was the only child. Being the only child, she always felt lonely and felt like there was no one to depend on, which explains the independence she has. She didn't have many friends in school as well because the bullies all picked on her, so other students didn't dare to become her friend. She was dubbed "the ugliest girl" and the whole cohort knew about it. She then lost all confidence in herself and started wearing a mask to school and started learning how to wear makeup, all at the age of 12. Rina's only friends were from the club she joined, also known as, Band. They were the only people who knew her personally and actually talked to her which she was thankful for. They were all her seniors so they gave her good advice and always told her to depend on them, but she never did in fear of being seen as a burden. Through Band, she learned that she loved singing so much and wanted to be a singer. On stage, she would get made fun of but she didn't feel so affected by it because she enjoyed what she was doing and couldn't care less about what others thought. So she went to audition for companies and thankfully, got accepted by some. But, she chose SM entertainment in the end. Thus, at a young age of 13, she joined SM entertainment and debuted after 6 years.
