Gold Glitchless FAQ

Q: What are you trying to do?
A: Beat Pokemon Gold as quickly as possible without using glitches.

Q: What are you playing on?
A: A GameCube using a GameBoy Player.

Q: What is the world record?
A: 3:13:46 by Gunnermaniac

Q: Why are you resetting?
A: Either Totodile had bad stats or I died.

Q: Why Totodile?
A: Totodile is the fastest pokemon to complete the run with. The Totodile line will do all of the battling.

Q: What stats does Totodile have?
A: Its DVs are 15 HP, 15 Attack, 13 Defense, 13 Speed, 15 Special

Q: How do you know Totodile's DVs?
A: We use RNG manipulation to guarantee the Totodile's stats.

Q: What other Pokemon do you use?
A:  a. Cutter- Sentret/Bellsprout or possibly Sandshrew
    b. Flyer- Kenya, the free Spearow you receive in Goldenrod City
    c. Whirlpool/Waterfall- Shiny Gyrados.

Q: What is your goal time?
A: I don't have a specific time in mind. But I'll play to PB, and ideally get a decent time like 3:30:xx or lower.
