  11. =Equipment=
  12. '   All equipment (weapons, armor, visible rings) is either 'Locked', 'Unlocked', or 'Invasion-Unlocked'.
  13. '           Equipment which is 'Locked' is not usable anywhere.
  14. '           Equipment which is 'Unlocked' is usable everywhere.
  15. '           Equipment which is 'Invasion-Unlocked' is usable only in other players` worlds while invading.

  17. -----------------------------------------Unlocking Equipment----------------------------------------------
  18. '           Equipment becomes 'Unlocked' after the runner finds someone using it and chooses to take it, "stealing" it from the other player`s corpse.
  19. '               Equipment may be farmed for or otherwise collected as normal, but only equipped/used if it is not 'Locked'.
  20. '               Only 1 piece of equipment can be made 'Unlocked' per corpse.
  21. '                   A runner must visibly confirm the equipment was on the target before it becomes 'Unlocked'
  22.                     ! If a player dies before you see them, you do not Unlock any of their equipment !
  23. '                       The runner may 'Unlock' gear from being invaded rather than invading, but may not use souls gained from being invaded.
  24. '           ALL equipment is 'Locked' by default, with some exceptions.
  25. '               Equipment which has no visible effect, such as Flynn`s Ring or Ring of Binding, is always considered 'Unlocked'.
  26.                     -'Rings with visible effects are 'Locked' by default, such as Ring of Restoration, or Blue Tearstone Ring.
  27.                     -'Vanquisher`s Seal is considered Visible and may only become 'Unlocked' if taken from a player who is powerstancing using its effect.
  28.                     -'The effects of the Illusory Rings is considered visible and therefore they are 'Locked' by default.
  29. '               Consumables and Ammunition are always considered 'Unlocked', though in the case of Ammunition, the runner would still have to unlock a bow/xbow to use it. This excludes the use of Flame Butterfly, which can only be used if Torch has been unlocked.
  30. '           All spells are considered equipment in this way, meaning a runner would have to unlock the catalyst and its spells separately and individually.
  31. '               Certain spells are always 'Invasion-Unlocked,' and can be used as soon as their catalyst is 'Unlocked', as their use is within the spirit of the run and they`re unlikely to be seen in another world.

  63. '   The runner must start after every boss with no 'Unlocked' equipment that they had built to this point.

  65. ===Progression===
  66. '           The runner can ONLY use souls gained through invasions during the run.
  67. '               This can be forced by using Agape Ring while not invading.
  68. '           Cheat Engine or other Third-Party programs are permitted for gaining the Agape Ring earlier than would otherwise be achievable, as well as Cracked Red Eye Orbs, but not for any other purposes within the run.
  69. =Without Cheats=

  71.                         =The 25,000 souls remaining after buying Agape Ring may be used (or discarded) freely.=

'                   While it is possible to farm infinite Cracked Red Eye Orbs from the Torturers in Huntsmans Copse with this route, it is strongly recommended to use Blue Acolyte`s infinite matchmaking item feature, to make invasions much easier (not to mention as the game`s premier anticheat). Wex Dust and Infinite Upwards Invasions through use of this mod are allowed.

  74. '               A single Cracked Red is available in Things Betwixt, on a corpse in a cave. This will allow you to invade infinitely with Blue Acolyte.

  78. =====VARIANTS/OPTIONAL RULES=====
  79. -'For a less difficult run, you may use exactly 1 piece of equipment from your starting class` gear during invasions, making it permanently 'Invasion-Unlocked'

  81. -'The Agape Ring technically does not need to be collected at any point during the run, and the player may choose to lose their souls through invading and intentionally dying, but this would get annoying after every boss or section of PvE.

  83. -'For a more restrictive run, you cannot progress beyond an area until you have invaded a host in it and achieved victory at least once. This was developed by 'Qui' for veteran challenge runners who might otherwise easily clear the game at sl1
