- It's a cameo. Coeurverse often retains some degree of parallels between itself, but that doesn't mean things have to repeat in any way. If you look at Professor Arc, you can see small hints that there is more to Oobleck than he gives off, but it never gets to the point of involving the VSS. Same for NTF, where Oobleck shows a tendency for drink, and takes a week off in mourning when Roman dies. In this regard, the VSS and the VSPR made for natural bedfellows since their objectives overlapped so much.
