TIFU by sticking my hand in a hole in the yard.

After work today I was cleaning out my gutters while my girls (5 and 7) played outside.  My gutters drain into French drains and come up out of the ground about 6 get away from the house.  While on the roof I holler at my kids to tell me when water starts coming up though the hole.  They tell me nothing is coming out of the hole so I go down there to see what's going on.  I have the garden hose stuck into the gutter but only a small amount of water is seeping out of the hole.  My girls are barefoot playing in the water coming up while this is going on.  I then remove the grating covering the hole thinking there is a bunch of sticks or leaves in it that needed to come out.  Once i remove the grating dark yellow water starts coming out but still slowly.  So I reach in the hole to clear it and pull out a half decomposed and very slimy dead bird.  I freak TF out.  Rushed me and my kids inside straight to the shower and used about half a bottle of anti bacterial soap on all of us.  I have no appetite now.

TL;DR - I let my kids play in water from the gutter and reached into the hole and pulled out a half decomposed and very slimy dead bird thinking it was clogged with leaves.
