- Today I am doing an Outlast"memeathon"as I call it. This means I'm doing a marathon run of all of the main categories of Outlast all in a row,in this order:
- Any%
- All Chapters
- 100%
- No OoB
- Glitchless
- Whistleblower Any%
- Whistleblower 100%
- Whistleblower No OoB
- Whistleblower Glitchless
- The no camera and insane categories have been excluded as they're really hard/risky,and adding all of those extra categories would make it take too long. I am also excluding my own made up category,"Whistleblower All Chapters",as by this point it's too similar in length to the DLC's Any% with the Groom Skip that's used in 100%
- My estimated time for this marathon is about 5 1/2 hours,and it should be a lot of fun! :)
- I came up with this sort of run after seeing plenty of marathon runs of several speedruns in a row like the multimario runs(246,602),and decided on applying that idea to one of my favorite speedgames.
- I was originally intending to do this before I left for SGDQ 2016,but better late than never I suppose ;).
- I've done this sort of thing before(offline)for fun on Halloween 2014 that was called the"Halloween Speedrun Spooktacular",which also involved horror games(Spirit Camera,Among the Sleep,Juon Wii,Amnesia A Machine for Pigs).
