⇛ Soomi is a strong willed yet loveable person, always ready to see the bright side of things and free with her affections. She’s relatively confident in herself and her actions, and has a strong belief in her values. She’s pretty childish though; she’s picky with food and situations, and she’s a bit of a baby when it comes to being sick. She’ll happily be your partner in crime and yet at the same time be an absolutely adorable angel. She can be over excitable when she’s in her element, or if she’s just plain happy, but she’s understanding of when she needs to calm down and be a steady presence for someone else. She’s gloriously accepting and open minded of people as they are, and could care less about who you are as long as she deems you a good person; on her own terms, however. A notorious over worker, she tends to burn herself out, but is stubborn and tends to deny her exhaustion and personal problems for fear of burdening others. She’s a steady presence, and puts her heart and soul into almost everything she does, as well as other people. She craves forms of comfort and affection, and is equally affectionate in return. ✗ ▍BACKSTORY ─
⇛ Soomi grew up in a bottom-of-the-barrel apartment with her teenaged mother and the occasional stray cat that came to visit; despite their relative poverty, her mother tried to raise her as best she could, despite being only about 17 years older than her. She grew up learning anything and everything from the people around her, who were full of different life experiences and life lessons. She was encouraged to do her best in everything she could, and to also see the best in all people; while she didn’t go to the best schools, she tried her hardest in what she could, and her passion for art in relation to her synesthesia grew stronger as she became older. She was relatively popular throughout her school life, due to her open mindedness and her acceptance and friendliness with almost everyone. When she graduated high school, she applied for scholarships to animation and arts colleges, and received one full ride scholarship to an arts college; she went through with it, and struggled through animation and visual arts classes on top of her three part time jobs keeping her afloat. Upon graduation from her second level of schooling, she managed to land a job on a children’s show at an animation studio, first as an inbetweener and then as a colour keyframe animator. Her work is busy and she’s always working overtime, but she genuinely enjoys it, and she’s happy where she is at this point in her life.

⇛ -Music; especially piano and orchestral tracks, due to the imagery it creates thanks to her synesthesia. However, kpop is her favourite genre, and she loves many different groups. She’s not the best singer or dancer, but as soon as a song she knows comes on, you bet she’ll be humming along, and letting the colours accompanying it wash over her.
-The feeling of drying paint on your hands, the splashes of colour on your jeans and hoodie and the knowledge that you’ll have to throw them out because they’re unwearable in public.

⇛ -Sports; she tried her best in school to get out of PE, but could never seem to wheedle her way out of it.
-Feeling lonely and unimportant; she has a bad habit of viewing herself as undesirable, and also hates her empty apartment. The chatroom was one of the best things to happen to her, as it gave her people to talk to whenever, and she stopped feeling lonely for a bit.

⇛ -Her own art projects, and messing around in her sketchbook; she posts her art online as well, and has a decent following on her social media. Most of her art is her synesthesia interpretations of songs, and they’re quite popular.
-Due to the workload of her job, she doesn’t have time for much else, but she does like to go out and get coffee or dinner with her coworkers and friends; it’s a nice break.
