TIFU by buying a face mask

Coronavirus and all, I went to the pharmacy to get some face masks.

I grab a packet for myself, and then approach one of the workers and ask her if they have masks fit for kids. She directs me to follow her and as we proceed to the appropriate isle we make a little bit of harmless small talk. She hands me a packet of masks for kids and we chat a little more. At some point she glances towards the packet of masks (which are BTW pink and have drawings of cute kitties on them) and asks "so, how old is your kid?", and without batting an eye I reply "oh, this isn't for my kid, it's for my girlfriend". I couldn't see most of her face as she was wearing a mask, but I could see the shock in her eyes as she said "oh, OK" and turned around to leave, as I realized what I just said and started to mumble "no, you don't understand, she's 28, she just has a... small... face..." which is a stupid sounding excuse but also the truth.

She just turns back to me, goes "uh huh" while walking backwards, and vanishes behind the corner.

I proceeded to very anxiously pay for my masks and get the hell out of there, and now I just hope I wasn't put into any list. This was several hours ago, and ever since I glance out the window every few minutes to make sure there isn't any angry mob carrying torches my way. I think the rational thing to do at this point is start a new life in a new continent under an assumed identity, but I might be overreacting.

TL;DR: accidentally "confessed" to being actively pedophile
