( love for animals ) akemi absolutely loves animals. whether it's a dog, a cat, a rabbit, or an owl — heck, even an ostrich ! she could never leave that certain place unless she says “hi” to the animal or feeds it.
( humility ) akemi dislikes being called “ pretty ” ; she thinks that there are many people who are prettier than her. still though, she just thanks the one who told the praise and doesn't let it get to her head. for her, beauty is found within ; she doesn't like people calling her “pretty” without knowing her heart first !

( shy ) it's not usually a problem, but then, she is the one who has the least friends in her group. it's not because she's snobby or anything, but it's because she's afraid of breaking friendships. despite having this trait, most people usually don't have a problem fitting in. for akemi, it's because of this trait that she's having a hard time in fitting in ; especially in variety shows where other idols are present.
( dislike for compliments ) as i've said earlier, akemi hates being called “pretty” by people who doesn't even know her. it usually makes her snap and get angry, but hey, it's not her fault. when given a compliment that she knows she doesn't deserve, she usually just stays silent. but if she knows that she worked hard to be praised, then she's fine with it !

✎ akemi is born in tainan, taiwan at the break of dawn, thus her name. her father, noticing her potential, got her in to acting, modelling, and dance classes when she was about five years old.
 growing up, akemi is kind of a loner, because of her looks, other people think that they'd look like a squid beside her ; because of that, she felt useless and grew up to be quiet, shy, and timid. she never speaks unless spoken to or she wants to give her ideas.
✎ when a scout from KYUU went to her dance school, he was convinced, right then, that this girl could be an idol. akemi refused anyway, thinking that it was a prank and the scout only saw her for her looks.
✎ when her modelling school had to choose one girl to represent them in a contest in korea, they chose akemi. akemi refused at first, but then the school managed to convince her. from there, BM saw her and casted her himself.
✎ for now, she's coming out of her shell ; she's starting to be a crackhead like the older members and is starting to show cute sides of herself !

i'mma go with dispatch. basically, we were eating ice cream and one of us accidentally removed his/her mask. so yeah, stupid dispatch took a picture and thought, "hey ! let's spread the news!"
