  1. >”You had another dream about what happened?” Cheerilee looked up to you from her papers.
  2. Yeah, it’s the third time now.
  3. >It’s now the fall season on P0nyville and over a month since you were in court having to rescue Scootaloo from being given back to her parents.
  4. >AppleJack did an amazing thing doing what she did. She wouldn’t have done it if she didn’t care about you to some length.
  5. >It started to make you question your notions of these ponies.
  6. >In your dreams you relived that scene over and over again when AppleJack burst into the courtroom, she looked at you as if she wanted to say something.
  7. >It wasn’t just what happened, but how you felt in the dream; dread followed by a sense of inner peace.
  8. >True, it wasn’t AJ and her charade that saved Scootaloo, but the act itself meant something; even after you hastily accused her for not caring about you.
  9. >It’s not that you didn’t say thanks to AJ, you did on numerous occasions. You thanked everyone and even sent a personal letter to Celestia thanking her for stepping in.
  10. >But as you stood there in the empty classroom with Miss Cheerilee setting up posters for a new unit, you told her about the dream.
  11. >You both have kept the facade that the two of you were still an ‘item’, and it seems even AJ has come to terms with it. But you couldn’t be 100% certain.
  12. >Something still bugged you.
  13. >You loved your friends. Seeing them hurt wasn’t your intention, but AJ was something else.
  14. >Thinking about her sometimes made your heart race.
  15. >The p0nies were becoming more human. This was unsettling to your preconceived notions.
  16. >”Maybe you should talk to her.” Cheerilee suggested.
  17. >You could feel butterflies in your stomach.
  18. You mean tell her that this whole time I’ve been lying just to avoid Fluttershy?
  19. >”Well... AppleJack is a decent mare and I personally believe you owe the poor dear an explanation.”
  20. >Maybe AJ would be understanding, but still...
  21. I don’t know if I’m ready.
  22. >”Anon, if AppleJack didn’t care she wouldn’t have shown up to court dressed in that getup to make a point. She risked having herself thrown in jail.”
  23. >You could still remember the song she sang and how beautiful her voice was.
  24. >”I don’t think we can keep our secret going forever, Anon.” Cheerilee said rather grimly. “As much as I care about you, I don’t want to worry about keeping secrets from your friends.”
  25. >You knew what she was getting at, but you wanted to confirm.
  26. What are you saying?
  27. >”Anon, you’re a wonderful person for what you’ve done. It’s just... I really want to have kids of my own one day.” She looks down sadly at her desk.
  28. >Perhaps your selfishness wasn’t as contained as you hoped.
  29. >The more you clung to Cheerilee in salvation of avoiding Fluttershy going back to her old ways, the more of life and actual opportunities for love slip past by her.
  30. >That was one thing you couldn’t give Cheerilee.
  31. >AJ expressed genuine interest in you, and Cheerilee may have come onto you but only because she was in heat.
  32. >You couldn’t hold onto her and lie to your friends, and especially Scootaloo, forever.
  33. Miss Cheerilee, I didn’t mean to...
  34. >”It’s OK Anon. But you should really talk to AJ soon. She might move on if you wait.”
  35. >Scootaloo was hanging out with her friends down at Rarity’s place for a while, but you would have to pick her up soon.
  36. >Now was probably a good time as any to go see AppleJack.
  37. Are you sure? I’m not sure what I should say. What if she says no?
  38. >”Anon, you can’t let doubt stop you. Just go talk to her, you’ll be fine.” She smiles reassuringly.
  39. >As you left the school, the warm autumn breeze was gently blowing, and the smell of wet earth and decay of leaves filled the air.
  40. >In your mind the scenario of what you could say and how AJ would react kept playing over and over.
  41. >She was back to her usual self, but bringing this up might not be the best idea.
  42. >It was time to be honest with her.
  43. >As Sweet Apple Acres came into view, the butterflies in your stomach intensified.
  44. >You saw Big Mac working near the barn and you asked him where AJ was. Thankfully he didn’t a grudge against you ever since AppleJack came to terms with you and Cheerilee being together.
  45. >He points you out to the orchard where AJ was getting the last of the harvest before the season was over.
  46. >As the crimson gold in the sky swirled with the salmon coloured clouds, you found her bucking some apple trees.
  47. >”Howdy partner, what can I do you for?”
  48. Do you have a minute to talk?
  49. >”Shucks, you know I got time for a friend. I’m just about dun harvesting anyways.” She takes the baskets filled with apples and loads them onto a cart, you give her a hand.
  50. >Afterwards the both of you sat by a tree and looked towards the sunset.
  51. >It was just like that time.
  52. AppleJack...
  53. >”Is something wrong sugar cube?”
  54. You know how grateful I am for what you did, right?
  55. >”Well of course, you thanked me so many gosh darn times I almost lost count.” She chuckles.
  56. >You wanted to word this carefully, last thing you want AJ to think is that you’re only doing this because she did something for you.
  57. During that trial, when Scootaloo was about to be taken away. They asked me: What do you know about raising a pony when you’re not one?
  58. >”Well, you’re a great father, no matter what you are.”
  59. I care for Scootaloo not because she’s like a lost puppy or I felt pity. Whenever I see her, I don’t see a pony. I see my kid.
  60. >AJ just nods, understanding what you mean.
  61. Even Cheerilee said that she saw me as a father, not a monster or a human.
  62. >AppleJack looks away to the sunset when you mentioned Cheerilee’s name. Now was a good time as any.
  63. AJ, I never meant to hurt you when I said those things. I know I’m a dirtbag for saying those things and then turning my back on you. I deserve any rebuke you can give me.
  64. >”It’s OK Anon, you don’t have to go apologizing.” She smiles warmly at you.
  65. It’s not OK. What’s the point of you being honest when I’m not?
  66. >She looks at you confused, “What do you mean, sugar cube?”
  67. Cheerilee and I... we were never together.
  68. >”Beg yer pardon?” she looked at you a raised eyebrow.
  69. >You were afraid she might react like this.
  70. Let me explain.
  71. >You told her about Fluttershy and how she’s been harassing you ever since you showed up, Twilight suggested that you could either be with Fluttershy or find somebody to be with so she’ll leave you alone.
  72. There are many reasons why I didn’t want to be with Fluttershy, but I was still hesitant about being in a relationship with a pony, especially after that ‘heat’ thing.
  73. >Explaining to her that Cheerilee was a pony that you confided in, you asked her to pretend to be with you in order to put up the facade that you were a couple just to get Fluttershy off your back and it worked.
  74. >You and Cheerilee never did anything aside from go out for lunch and dinner on a few occasions.
  75. >The worst part is, you did this after telling AJ you weren’t interested in ponies.
  76. AppleJack, I’m telling you this because...
  77. >She looked to you; her emerald eyes gazed at you with this sense of wanting something.
  78. >It was then and there you didn’t see a pony, but someone who was a hard worker, a loving sister, and someone that was beautiful in their own way.
  79. .... I love you.
  80. >The look of shock overtaken her, but she broke out into a tearful smile.
  81. >You were going to say something, but AppleJack threw her arms around your neck and tackles you to the ground.
  82. >She nuzzles her head against yours, but stops to look down on you with tears in her eyes.
  83. So I guess you forgive me?
  84. >AJ just nods. She could barely contain her happiness and a single tear rolls down her cheek.
  85. Come on now, you know I don’t like seeing you cry.
  86. >You take the corner of your sleeve and wipe the tear off her soft cheek.
  87. >She takes your hand in her hoof gently and holds it against her face and encouraged you to rub.
  88. >”Oh, Anon your hands feel every bit as good as I thought...” she closes her eyes and moans.
  89. >Running your hand up through mane, her hat falls off and her long blonde hair cascades to one side.
  90. >AJ collapses on top of you and rubs her nose against yours, “I always thought you were a real cutie.”
  91. >You smile at her remark, AJ closes her eyes and she slowly brings her face close to yours.
  92. >Almost by instinct, you closed you eyes as well and felt her press those lips to yours.
  93. >It was an unforgettable moment.
  94. >You could hear her gently breathing as you both shared that kiss, but your own heart was racing fast.
  95. >This kiss felt familiar and natural.
  96. >Of all the ponies you could’ve chosen, AJ was definitely the right one.
  97. >Unfortunately for you, you’re a bit of a hair to this kind of sensation and you couldn’t hide your ‘other’ sign of affection for her.
  98. >AppleJack breaks off and slowly pulls her head away. You open your eyes and she she’s smiling down on you. “I didn’t think you’d be so excited there cowboy....”
  99. >She was referring to your raging boner. You could feel yourself turning red.
  100. >AppleJack takes her hoof and starts to nudge to tip of bulge. Something in the back of your mind was going off.
  101. >She started to rub it a little, but you reached up and grabbed her by the hoof gently.
  102. Not now AJ...
  103. >AJ looked confused for a moment, “Is something wrong, sugar cube?”
  104. >You eased yourself back into a sitting position; you take both her hooves into your hands and looked her in the eyes.
  105. No, but I think we’re going a little fast.
  106. >AJ tried to look like she understands, but you had to clarify some things.
  107. What I told you about Fluttershy and everything else, I would prefer no one else knows. I feel bad enough it affected you. Cheerilee convinced me to make amends.
  108. >”She did?”
  109. Her and Scootaloo made me see things a little differently. I know it’s you that I want to be with.
  110. >She blushes intensely as she tries to maintain eye contact.
  111. I just don’t think I’m ready to be that intimate; yet. Will you give me some time?
  112. >”For you sugar cube, anything.” She winks at you. “I’ll wait till you’re good an ready.”
  113. >AJ nuzzles up to you again. Wrapping your arms around her, your face was partially buried in her soft mane.
  114. >Looking to the ground, you see her hat. Picking it up, you plop the hat on top of her head, covering her eyes in the process.
  115. >”Why you little...” she smirks. AppleJack lunges at you and tackles you back to the ground and tries to tickle you with her hooves.
  116. >Thankfully, hooves aren’t great for tickling. But your hands were perfect.
  117. >She squirms and laughs hysterically on top of you, “That ain’t fair!” she manages to say between her fits of laughter.
  118. >AJ manages to escape your clutches and finally calms down, but she’s wearing the biggest grin on her face.
  119. >You noticed it was staring to get late.
  120. I need to go pick up Scootaloo, do you want me to bring AppleBloom back for you?
  121. >AppleJack adjusts her hat as she looks up to you, “How about we both go?”
  122. >It wasn’t long after that until word spread to the others about how you and AJ were a pair.
  123. >Even when Fluttershy found out, she didn’t seem to be heartbroken. She congratulated the both of you even.
  124. >You guess she’s finally over you.
  125. Twilight, I guess you’re right about Fluttershy. Maybe she finally just outgrew me.
  126. >You stood in the middle of Twilight’s library as she looks through several books. “She has taken it pretty well considering she was head over hooves about you.”
  127. >Twilight levitated many books off the shelves as she scanned them. “No.... nope... not this one... Aha! This should do just fine.”
  128. >The book floats down to you into your hands. The book wasn’t too big, but Twilight said this should help. “I’m surprised it’s taken you this long to realize how irrational you’ve been.”
  129. I think I’ve been somewhat reasonable, but I’m glad to open my horizons.
  130. >What Twilight gave you was basically the Equestrian equivalent of the Kama Sutra.
  131. >It’s only been a few weeks since you’ve been with AJ, but you wanted to have some sort of clue as to how you could make her happy.
  132. >Scanning through the pages, you found drawn pictures of quite a few sexual positions. Some which are surprisingly human in nature.
  133. Huh, and I thought only humans were into kinky stuff like this.
  134. >”Don’t neglect the other stuff in that book. It’s kind of old fashion, but it has many tips on how to have a successful relationship.”
  135. >You sat on the couch and scanned through the book, Twilight sat next to you and read over your shoulder.
  136. I didn’t think a pony like you would have a book like this.
  137. >”Well, not to brag but my library is pretty diverse in its range of topics.” She smiles proudly.
  138. Mind if I borrow it for a while?
  139. >”Go right on ahead. If anything, AJ is really lucky to have a guy like you.”
  140. >Leaving Twilights house, it was still the middle of the day and Scootaloo was at school.
  141. >Miss Cheerilee was proud that you went to AJ to talk about your feelings with her. You couldn’t help but feel sorry for Cheerilee for a number of reasons.
  142. >She assured you that it was the right thing to do, and that she hoped to have children of her own one day. Would AJ feel the same one day?
  143. >You had Scootaloo to take care of, but now that AppleJack has entered into a more intimate aspect of your life...
  144. >The idea was still weird to you, but if AJ was willing to wait until you were more comfortable then you would want to do anything to make her happy.
  145. >You just remembered that Scootaloo’s birthday is coming up in a week.
  146. >Later that night as you were reading a book, Scootaloo was drawing pictures in the kitchen, you contemplated what you should do for her birthday.
  147. >For sure AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle, but maybe having the others over as well would be nice.
  148. >Maybe Pinkie Pie could let you have Sugar Cube Corner for the afternoon.
  149. Hey Scoots.
  150. >”Yeah?” she looks up from her picture.
  151. Have you thought about who you’re going to invite for your birthday? Is there anyone else aside from Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom that goes to your school you would like to invite?
  152. >Scootaloo thought for a moment, but she couldn’t think of anyone else invite.
  153. Well, if you decide, just let me know.
  154. >”You know you don’t have to get me anything, right?”
  155. >You looked up from your book and smirked
  156. OK, no birthday for you.
  157. >”What?!” she jumps off the chair.
  158. >You chuckle as she rolls around on the floor in her playful anguish, “That’s not what I mean you... Dodo!”
  159. >You burst out laughing at her remark
  160. Did, you just call me a Dodo? So I’m a big bird now, eh?
  161. >Picking her up she giggles, “All you need are some wings and a beak.”
  162. What do you mean you don’t want anything for your birthday? Are you feeling sick?
  163. >You place a hand to her forehead, Scootaloo laughs. “No, it’s just that I already have the greatest gift of all.”
  164. Oh?
  165. >Scootaloo wraps her arms around your neck and nuzzles against you, her tiny wing buzzed. “It’s you!”
  166. >You were touched.
  167. >But that didn’t mean you couldn’t have fun with this.
  168. OK, I know you want something. You always butter me up when you want something! Now spill the beans!
  169. >You start tickling her and she cries in a fit of laughter. She manages to escape your clutches and tries to tickle you.
  170. >Both you and Scootaloo chase each other through the house that night until you were both exhausted.
  171. >The next few days were filled with you running through p0nyville asking for favours and getting things in place. Scootaloo asked that you make her and her friends some pizza for her birthday, which would be enough of a gift.
  172. >You had other things in mind.
  173. >The autumn air grew colder as the winter season approached.
  174. >But you had her birthday all planned out and now it was time to get things in motion.
  175. >It was two days before her birthday when you told Scootaloo that you received an ‘invitation’ to a cook off in Canterlot.
  176. >”Wow! You sent them your pizza and they accepted?” Scootaloo jumps up and down in excitement.
  177. Yeah, and they want me to go there right away. I’ll be gone for a week.
  178. >”What?” Scootaloo’s mood does a 180 instantly. Her ears go down and she knew what that meant. “Well, do I get to come with you?”
  179. I’m sorry, but I already arranged for you to stay at AJs place while I’m gone. That’ll be fun, having a week long sleepover at AppleBloom’s place?
  180. >”Yeah... I guess.” She slumps down onto the floor.
  181. I asked AJ to give you a birthday party while I’m gone, but when I get back I’ll be sure to give you a proper birthday.
  182. >”But I want you to be there!” she looks up to you.
  183. Scootaloo, look at the big picture. If I win this, my recipe will earn us a more comfortable living. Come on, let’s get your stuff packed.
  184. >You carried a suitcase with some of Scootaloo’s stuff in it to AppleJack’s place.
  185. >AJ answers the door, “Howdy there, partner. Y’all ready for a sleepover Scootaloo?”
  186. >Scootaloo tries to put up a tough front, “Yeah, it’ll be.... great.”
  187. >AppleBloom races towards the door to greet Scootaloo and brings her up to her room to play.
  188. >Once you and AJ were alone, you brought the suitcase inside. “Ya got everything ready Anon?”
  189. Yep, just remember the plan. I got to head down to Sugar Cube Corner and get everything ready for her big day.
  190. >You peck AJ on the lips before you leave.
  191. >For the next two days you spend your time at Sugar Cube Corner getting everything ready with Pinkie Pie. Thank God she was good at keeping secrets.
  192. >”Are you sure you don’t want me to set anything up.” Pinkie Pie asks as you hang up balloons and streamers.
  193. Well, a bit of help is nice. But I want this birthday to have that personal touch. I just need those treats to be ready and no one bakes quite like you.
  194. >”Okie dokie lokie!” she chirps as he bounces away to the kitchen.
  195. >To be fair, you weren’t that great with setting up decorations. How the hell does Pinkie do it so easily?
  196. >Pinkie Pie came back later and saw the results. You reluctantly accepted her offer for help.
  197. >Before you knew it, it was Scootaloo’s birthday tomorrow.
  198. >You are now Scootaloo
  199. >Ever since your dad left to go to Canterlot, you weren’t feeling so good.
  200. >He wasn’t going to be there for your birthday.
  201. >You had fun hanging out with AppleBloom and her sister, but it wasn’t the same if your dad wasn’t here.
  202. >Slowly and surely, the day came when it was your birthday.
  203. >You woke up earlier than usual, before AppleBloom or anyone else in the house was up. It didn’t even feel like it was your birthday.
  204. >Even your old parents weren’t there for your birthday when you were younger.
  205. >Trying to get some more sleep was pointless and you tossed and turned in a nervous fit. In the back of your mind, you wanted him to come back.
  206. >Eventually, AppleBloom and AJ got up and treated you to a pancake breakfast.
  207. >AppleJack was impressed that you offered to cook and was actually able to do so.
  208. Yeah, my dad’s been teaching me for a while now.
  209. >AppleBloom seemed excited about this, “Maybe you’ll get your cutie mark in cooking!”
  210. I don’t think so, I haven’t gotten it yet.
  211. >As you were finishing breakfast, there was a knock on the door. AppleJack answers it, and there in the doorway stood Rainbow Dash wearing a pair of aviation goggles.
  212. >RD makes her way indoors and tosses you an extra pair of goggles, “I heard today is your birthday. We’re going to take a little trip.” She grins.
  213. Really?!
  214. >You were going to hang out with Rainbow Dash for the day?!
  215. >”Well don’t just sit there with your mouth hanging wide open, kiddo. Put those goggles on and let’s go.”
  216. >You look back to AJ and AppleBloom, and the both of them nod and gesture you to go on ahead. Snapping the goggles onto your face you race to the door and head outside with RD.
  217. >Rainbow Dash holds you up and like a dart tosses you into high the air. You start to freak out and flap your wings like crazy to try and keep in the air, but it was no use.
  218. >You closed you eyes as you felt yourself falling towards to ground.
  219. >Rainbow Dash takes off from the earth and grabs onto you. You feel yourself in her hooves as you both leave the ground far below you.
  220. >Higher and higher you both sore into the sky.
  221. >This is what it must feel like to be Rainbow Dash. “Hope I didn’t scare you, kid. Had to make sure you were still up for the flight.”
  222. Are you kidding? I totally wasn’t scared!
  223. >You chuckle nervously at your fib. “Good, cause we’re going for a little ride.”
  224. >RD accelerates through the clouds and once the two of you were clear, she performs a barrel roll.
  225. >You could help but yell in excitement as the sensation of flight and all the twists and turns.
  226. >Losing track of the time, you and RD must have flown throughout all of Equestria. Occasionally you would both take a break on top of a cloud to look at the landscape below.
  227. >”Sometimes I come up here to think. You need that peace and quiet once in a while.”
  228. >The view was amazing. Above you was nothing but clear blue sky and the quietness that surrounded the both of you.
  229. >It was already late in the afternoon, but you still realized that there was someone else that you wish was here.
  230. >”Is something wrong?”
  231. I just wish dad was here instead of being in Canterlot.
  232. >”I’m sure Anon would be here if he could, but these things happen. Things that we don’t intend to happen just kind of do, you know?”
  233. >You just sat there on the cloud and looked down to the earth below.
  234. >”Well, it’s getting a bit late. We better go on back before it gets dark.” RD picks you up and jumps off the cloud.
  235. >On the way back to P0nyville Rainbow Dash asks, “Hey, how about we head to Sugar Cube Corner for a snack? M treat!”
  236. >A snack sounds nice right about now, and you would get to spend a bit more time with Rainbow Dash at least.
  237. >As P0nyville came into view, both you and RD land in front of Sugar Cube Corner and remove your goggles.
  238. >Entering the store, a familiar aroma filled the air. But you could see hot freshly made treats being laid out on the counter by Pinkie Pie.
  239. >”Hey Pinkie Pie. Thought we stop in for a snack.”
  240. >”Oh! Then you’re going to have to go upstairs, I’ve been working on this new recipe and I want you both to try it! It’s going to be the most superduperific you’ll ever taste!” Pinkie jumps up and down in one spot.
  241. >Rainbow Dash looks down at you, “That sounds delicious, think we should try it?”
  242. >Pinkie did make it sound awesome. You nod to RD and the both of you head upstairs.
  243. >Opening a door, it was dark inside. “There’s probably a switch in here.” RD said as she walks into the dark room.
  244. >That familiar smell that reminded you of home was strong.
  245. >The lights in the room turn on and all around you could see balloons, streamers, banners and other birthday stuff strewn across the room.
  246. >Cupcakes, soft drinks, sundaes, ice cream and pizza lines the tables in the room.
  247. >”SURPRISE!” loud voices from all around shout out. You jump from the sudden loud noise and could see the ponies coming out from hiding. There was AppleBloom, Sweetie Belle, your other classmates, Twilight and all her friends as well.
  248. >They swarmed you with congratulations, cards and gifts.
  249. >Pinkie Pie pushes a cart carrying a huge cake towards you, “It’s your birthday today! You gotta blow the candles out and make a wish!”
  250. >This was too much.
  251. >You felt uncomfortable receiving this much kindness and affection. Feeling your lips tremble and tears well up in your eyes, you began to sniffle.
  252. >RD noticed this and immediately comes to your side. She even cloaks her wing over you to hide your tears. “What’s wrong?”
  253. This is... too much for me. You didn’t have to do this for me...
  254. >”Scootaloo, we did this because Anon asked us too. I’m sorry he’s not here but he wanted you to have a great birthday without him. We’re doing this because we care about you.”
  255. >She dried your tears and made you look up to her, “Come on, those candles aren’t going to blow themselves out.”
  256. >You felt a little better and you approached the looming cake. You eyed the candles and remembered you had to make a wish.
  257. >With a quick inhale, you blow out all the candles in one go.
  258. I wish my dad was here.
  259. >You are now Anon.
  260. Are you sure this will work?
  261. >”Of course, silly! I’ve done this many times before. Once you hear us cheer Scootaloo for blowing out the candles, that’s your cue to make your appearance!”
  262. Don’t you think making a fake one would’ve been easier?
  263. >”Do you want to do this right or not?”
  264. OK, OK... Just make sure no one tries to cut into this when she blows out the candle.
  265. >”Alright everyp0ny, get into place. They’re almost here.”
  266. >As you tucked yourself away, darkness and silence surrounds you.
  267. >It wasn’t long before you heard the sound of hooves making their way up the stairs and into the room. Loud yelling followed by cheering filled the room but you couldn’t see the action.
  268. >It went quiet all of a sudden.
  269. >Was someone crying?
  270. >Final, you heard Scootaloo blow out the candles and made her wish.
  271. >And that wish was about to come true.
  272. >With a push and a shove, you burst forth from the spongy prison and exploded out of the cake.
  273. Happy Birthday!
  274. >Cake splattered all over the guests and the look on Scootaloo’s face was priceless.
  275. >A piece of cake with a burnt out wick sat on top of your head as you stood there in the middle of the ruined cake. With tears in her eyes, she leaps up and tackles you to the ground.
  276. >Cake smeared over the both of you as she hugs you. She finally cries out, “You dodo! You tricked me!”
  277. >Pinkie Pie rolls out the real cake, albeit a bit smaller than the one you were in.
  278. >You and everyone sing the traditional birthday song as Scootaloo blows out the candle.
  279. >Scootaloo opened her presents from all her friends. The final one from you was a brand new scooter. It was a bit big, but she’ll grow into it.
  280. >As Scootaloo and her friends played with the new toys, you sat at a table next to AppleJack.
  281. >AJ pecks you on the cheek with a grin, “You sly little devil you. Going through all that trouble just for her.”
  282. Thanks again for keeping her at your place while I got things in place. You’re a real doll.
  283. >You and AppleJack shared a proper kiss.
  284. >Fluttershy glared at the two of you from across the room.
  285. >You gave Scootaloo a piggyback ride back home. Poor little thing was tuckered out. All that sugar made her crash hard by the end of the evening.
  286. >This was her first birthday with you, and this was going to be her most memorable one.
  287. >You are now Fluttershy
  288. >Anon was already with AJ, even after pretending he was with Cheerilee not too long ago.
  289. >Was he really just trying to play mind game with you?
  290. >No. Scootaloo is the real problem.
  291. >She has to go no matter what.
  292. >It was the start of winter by now and Anon was going on about how he celebrated this thing called ‘Christmas’.
  293. >As you looked out to the snowy winter wonderland that night, you couldn’t imagine being out in the cold.
  294. >”It’s time we took a trip to the old quarry. I arranged a meeting with some friends who can help us with our problem.”
  295. Who is that? When did you set up a meeting?
  296. >”It’s not that hard, you’d be surprised of what I can do when you’re not awake.”
  297. You... you mean I’ve been sleepwalking?
  298. >”Well, not really. But that’s a minor detail. We need to go to the quarry, we have to meet up with some old chaps.”
  299. >Putting on some winter clothes, you get ready to brave the cold and snow. “Oh, and don’t forget the goods.”
  300. What goods?
  301. >”Look under your bed. They’ll expect payment.”
  302. >Heading back to your room, you look under the bed and sure enough there was a round sack.
  303. >Looking inside, you could see gems and jewels of all size and colour.
  304. W-where did you get all these? I don’t remember getting these.
  305. >”I borrowed them from Rarity. Kind of...”
  306. Isn’t that stealing?
  307. >”She won’t know, and she can always find more.”
  308. Who would want all these gems?
  309. >”Let’s just say a few dogs willing to do anything for jewels.”
  310. Y-You mean.... diamond dogs? Those creepy, scary diamond dogs that live underground?!
  311. >”Yeah, those ones. Now hurry up, they’re expecting you.”
  312. >You were hesitant on going. You had no idea what Fluttershy, or you in this case, had in mind.
  313. >As you headed to the old quarry, she reassured you that they were ready to do whatever it is you needed down.
  314. >”Just remember, tell them what you want and give them the goods. Don’t be afraid of them.”
  315. O-okay.... I’ll try.
  316. >The rocky quarry was empty and desolate in the middle of the cold wintery night. Only the full moon offered a source of light.
  317. No one’s here.
  318. >”Try whistling.”
  319. >You give a quick whistle, and you could hear movement nearby. But it was hard to see where it was coming from.
  320. >”Don’t be afraid. They’ll expect you.”
  321. >Next thing you realize, you’re pushed to the ground and the sound of snarling fills your ears.
  322. >You instinctively yell in surprise, but a large paw covers your mouth. You could see out of the corner of your eyes three diamond dogs looking down at you with their menacing glowing eyes.
  323. >It’s gravelly voice spoke to you, “Mustn’t make noise, little pony.”
  324. >They released their hold on you, and with your legs shaking you got up and produced the sack of gems to them.
  325. >”Good.... good.... “ he spoke as he inspected a handful of the sparkling stones. “Now, what do you want us to do?”
  326. >The voice in your head told you to speak up. You stutter at first
  327. T-there’s this little pegasus at this house. She’s got an orange coat, wings, and a purple mane. I want you to go and foalnap her.
  328. >”Where is it?” the larger dog growled.
  329. In a house not too far away. There should be a snow storm coming in a week or so in the middle of the night. Just try and do it quietly... if you wouldn’t mind that is.
  330. >The leader looked down at the sack of jewels, “What do we do with this.... little pony?” he licked his chops.
  331. >Your heart began to race.
  332. D-don’t hurt her! Just keep her hidden away for a while. I’ll think of the next part.
  333. >”As you wish...” he bowed his head backing off. They disappeared behind the rocks and it was quiet again.
  334. >The voice in your head spoke again, “Soon, when Anon gives up looking for her. He’ll be ours.”
  335. >You are now Anon.
  336. >The fireplace was slowly dieing out that evening. Scootaloo just started her break from school for the winter holidays and you were excited to get a Christmas tree to start celebrating.
  337. >All your friends wanted to know how Christmas was celebrated, so you would give the run down on how it was done.
  338. >Scootaloo was playing with her toys in the front of the fire place as the snow storm outside intensified.
  339. >It was getting late.
  340. Alright, time for bed.
  341. >”But dad, I’m not tired...” she yawns.
  342. Right, and I’m an eight legged spider monkey. Now it’s off to bed.
  343. >She heads up to brush her teeth and wash up before bed. You head to her room and tuck her in.
  344. >As you sat at her bedside, you slowly stroked the side of her face with your hand. “Christmas sounds like fun, I can’t wait for it.”
  345. >Saying your goodnight, you peck her on the forehead and turn off the lights in her room.
  346. >You started to get ready for bed and you made sure all the doors were locked.
  347. >As you sat in bed, you pulled out that book Twilight gave you and continued to read it.
  348. >It was rather interesting, the whole sexual aspect of these p0nies.
  349. >As time went by, you eventually drifted to sleep with the book in still clutched in your hands.
  350. >A loud noise stirred you from your sleep.
  351. >As you rubbed your eyes, you heard a muffled scream.
  352. >Scootaloo.
  353. >You shoot out of bed and run down the hall. Opening the door, a cold blast of winter air swirled around you.
  354. >Looking in the room, it was completely trashed. Things were overturned; it was as if a small tornado wrecked the room.
  355. >You caught a glance of something jumping out of the window. Unfortunately, you couldn’t get a good look.
  356. >Running to the window you could see something running off into the woods nearby. They had Scootaloo.
  357. >You bolted fast down the stairs and put on your shoes. Without thinking you ran into the snow wearing nothing more than your pajamas and shoes.
  358. >You took off without any gear or even a flashlight, but you disregarded the freezing cold as you ran towards to wooded area.
  359. >You looked down at the ground and could see many prints in the snow. There was more than one involved.
  360. >The wind was like a whip against your skin, but you tried to run as fast as you could through the deep snow.
  361. >It was too late.
  362. >You already lost track of those who kidnapped Scootaloo. Desperately, you yelled out into the cold winter night.
  363. SCOOTALOO!
