  1. [A4A] Into the lake [Script offer] [narrative] [hypno] stuff [forest][lake][lair][a place away from the world][stress/anxiety relief].
  2.
  3. A Script Written By SofConMac (c).
  4.
  5. A [nice place](https://pastebin.com/tDV7HZBh) to go into before sleeping, based on a go-into fantasy proposed by u/SnailGooWrestling. Both the listener and the reader can be of any gender, although I’m a man and I imagine it told by a woman. This script has a strong hypnotic mood, you are supposed to just let go and accept what the voice tells you. You will follow the voice into a journey through nice places that will enclose you, one after the other, but in a way that will not prevent you to connect with the world.
  6.
  7. In this script, I will give tone/mood/feeling indications in [brackets], that are not intended to be read, but to help the performer.
  8.
  9. Ideas for background and sound effects. You – of course! – are free to use them, others, or none.
  10.
  11. [here] (http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Magna_Ingress/Thee_Final_Sigil_ov_E/04_Afterwards) and [here] (http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Lee_Rosevere/10_Minute_Meditations/Lee_Rosevere_-_10_Minute_Meditations_-_04_Self-Care), are possible backgrounds. you can use either of them, or several of them, or other. Do as you want.
  12.
  13. The one most important direction: Do as you please!
  14.
  15. [very calm and soothing. This is a hypnotic script, but stay a bit casual at the beginning.]
  16. Hello!
  17. How are you today?
  18. Mmmmh?
  19. A bit … tired?
  20. All those hassles?
  21. All those things that drag us down…
  22. But, it’s OK.
  23. There is the day to day life, but…
  24. This is not day to day, right now.
  25. This is the night…
  26. Today is finished, now.
  27. And tomorrow is not here yet.
  28. In between, there is sleep.
  29. Long, sound, deep sleep.
  30. Being a rock.
  31. Being a stump.
  32. Being a trunk.
  33. Immobile.
  34. Unmovable.
  35. With all the energy flowing through it.
  36. Rich, and fresh water, welling up from deep underground.
  37. Warm, sweet sunlight pouring from above.
  38. Pouring on you.
  39. Welling up in you.
  40. And giving you the energy to go through another day.
  41. To earn another day.
  42. Make it a better day.
  43. I will help you to reach that.
  44. Life is life, we are all going through it.
  45. There is the joy of it, and the hassles.
  46. Now, in this fold of time, out of the days, I want to show you something nice in it.
  47.
  48. [slowly things become more hypnotic, speak more rhythmically, insisting on each word, as if you enjoyed the sound they make.]
  49.
  50. A nice place that will only be yours.
  51. A nice journey bringing you into that place.
  52. A journey into yourself, into your mind, and how you can turn it into…
  53. Into somewhere you can go for a nap.
  54. Somewhere you can come back from, fresher, more alert.
  55. Somewhere that will make you stronger.
  56. Somewhere for your self.
  57. [said differently, as if it were in parenthesis] You are important, you know?
  58. And for those you want to fight for.
  59. [said differently, as if it were in parenthesis] They are important, too.
  60. Somewhere you will come back to, each time you want.
  61. Somewhere you can customize, change the way you want, once it is yours.
  62. Once I have given it to you.
  63. [more casual]
  64. Are you ready?
  65. Are you interested?
  66. Good.
  67. Good!
  68. Very good…
  69. Well.
  70. So.
  71. [Back into a more hypnotic mood]
  72. Just close your eyes, and just breathe, slowly, following my voice.
  73. [Ideally, breathe in/breathe out are in one ear, while the other sentences are in the other ear]
  74. Breathe in
  75. [pause]
  76. Breathe out
  77. [pause]
  78. Breathe in
  79. My words, my voice…
  80. Breath out
  81. Stress and hassles…
  82. Breathe in
  83. Comfort and limpness…
  84. Breathe out
  85. The itches…
  86. Breathe in
  87. [pause]
  88. Breathe out
  89. [pause]
  90. Breathe in
  91. You are doing good.
  92. Breathe out
  93. Just continue.
  94. Breathe in
  95. I will tell you words.
  96. Breathe out
  97. And just imagine them.
  98. Breathe in
  99. It is so easy.
  100. Breathe out.
  101. To see these images.
  102. Breathe in.
  103. If I say “tree”
  104. Breathe out
  105. You see a tree.
  106. Breathe in
  107. A tall and old growth tree.
  108. Breathe out
  109. Strong and serene.
  110. Breathe in
  111. If I say “forest”
  112. Breathe out
  113. You are in a forest
  114. Breathe in
  115. Old, deep, wild forest
  116. Breath out
  117. But calm, and welcoming
  118. Breathe in
  119. If I say “bench”
  120. Breathe out
  121. There is a bench
  122. Breathe in
  123. A simple wooden bench
  124. Breathe out
  125. Waiting for you, in this forest
  126. Breathe in
  127. If I say “lie down”
  128. Breathe out
  129. You are just lying down
  130. Breathe in
  131. On that bench
  132. Breathe out
  133. In that forest
  134. Breathe in
  135. If I say “night”
  136. Breathe out
  137. You look at the starry sky
  138. Breathe in
  139. Lying on that bench
  140. Breathe out
  141. In that moonlit forest.
  142. [braking the trance a little bit.]
  143. Good.
  144. You are doing this very, very well.
  145. [short pause]
  146. Don’t try to convince yourself otherwise.
  147. I know what I’m doing.
  148. I know how these things happen.
  149. I know how you react.
  150. And I tell you:
  151. Listen to it.
  152. With all the concentration possible.
  153. Wait for it, and let it enter directly into your ears and print itself in your brain.
  154. [small pause]
  155. [dead serious] You are doing this very, very well.
  156. [small pause]
  157. Let yourself process it and accept it deeply.
  158. You are doing this very, very well.
  159. You are very good at this.
  160. [pause]
  161. [progressively sliding into an entrancing tone again]
  162. I just told you a few words.
  163. And you just built a whole world out of it.
  164. I will tell you these words again.
  165. And just admire how fast you are coming back into that scene just invented for yourself.
  166. [pause]
  167. Tree
  168. Forest
  169. Bench
  170. Lie down
  171. Night.
  172. You are lying in that bench.
  173. Under the stars
  174. In that moonlit forest.
  175. Looking at the stars.
  176. Lying on the bench.
  177. Under the trees.
  178. Your eyes lost.
  179. Dazzled by all those stars.
  180. Thousands of stars
  181. Thousands of little dots of light
  182. Thousands of huge bubbles of gas.
  183. So bright.
  184. Illuminating worlds.
  185. Creating worlds.
  186. Thousand, millions of worlds
  187. Worlds ripe with life.
  188. Alien life, life you’ll never see.
  189. But people.
  190. People too.
  191. People thinking and dreaming.
  192. Just like you.
  193. Billions of people dreamily looking at the stars.
  194. Billions of people dreamily looking at the sun.
  195. The sun, a tiny speck of light among many others.
  196. Billions of people dreamily looking at it.
  197. Billions of people dreamily looking at you.
  198. And you dreamily looking at them.
  199. Billions of dreamy eyes.
  200. Billions of blank, fuzzy eyes.
  201. Staring at you.
  202. And you, staring at them.
  203. Billions of stars.
  204. And you, staring at them.
  205. Lying down on that bench.
  206. Staring at them.
  207. In that forest.
  208. Staring at them
  209. Staring at the stars.
  210. The stars.
  211. Stars.
  212. Blank, fuzzy stars.
  213. Staring at you.
  214. And dreaming…
  215. You are dreaming.
  216. You are dreaming so deeply.
  217. You are dreaming so deeply you don’t notice.
  218. But I’ll tell you:
  219. You are dreaming, and you have two selves, now.
  220. [less hypnotic]
  221. There is you, lying in your bed.
  222. So comfy.
  223. Listening to me.
  224. Listening to my soft voice.
  225. So soft.
  226. Gently lulling you.
  227. In your ear.
  228. Don’t you feel it?
  229. This is real.
  230. You are lying on that bed,
  231. in that bedroom, listening to me.
  232. [more hypnotic]
  233. And then,
  234. Tree
  235. Forest
  236. Bench
  237. Lie down
  238. Night.
  239. You feel the breeze around you.
  240. The hard wood of that bench…
  241. The light of the moon caressing you.
  242. You are lying on that bench.
  243. Under the stars
  244. In that moonlit forest.
  245. Your body in the bed stays limp.
  246. But, your body on the bench sits up.
  247. Looking at the trees
  248. That forest
  249. And that path.
  250. That path in front of you.
  251. That pass I designed for you.
  252. And, you want to stand up
  253. You want so dearly to stand up.
  254. To walk.
  255. To follow this path.
  256. This path I designed for you.
  257. To know where it leads
  258. What I have in store for you.
  259. You want to, but you can’t.
  260. You can’t stand up.
  261. Your legs don’t obey to you.
  262. They obey me.
  263. But, it’s OK.
  264. It’s OK.
  265. You want to stand up, but you can’t.
  266. But it’s OK.
  267. You are under my control, but you know that I’m not mean.
  268. I’m not evil.
  269. I want you to spend a nice moment with me.
  270. Under my commands.
  271. Under my control.
  272. Under my words.
  273. You want so much to stand up…
  274. To walk…
  275. You are so eager to do so.
  276. So listen to me.
  277. Wait for my words.
  278. You know that they will feel good.
  279. That they will free you from what blocks you.
  280. What prevents you from doing what you want.
  281. [short pause]
  282. Listen carefully
  283. [short pause]
  284. It is coming.
  285. [short pause]
  286. Stand up.
  287. Stand up, and follow the path.
  288. That beautiful path.
  289. In the forest.
  290. Tall trees towering over you.
  291. The light of the moon.
  292. The path is so nice.
  293. Soft under your feet.
  294. Soft leaves.
  295. Soft earth.
  296. Soft turn on the left…
  297. And behind it…
  298. Free space.
  299. An expanse devoid of any tree.
  300. A clearing, perhaps, in this forest?
  301. Another turn of the path…
  302. And then, you see it.
  303. A lake.
  304. A calm, solemn lake…
  305. The water, flat and calm, like a mirror…
  306. A mirror, reflecting the moon.
  307. The moonlight inundating the clearing.
  308. And the lake.
  309. Calm.
  310. Silent.
  311. And beautiful.
  312. You can walk now…
  313. Walk some more, toward the lake.
  314. Reach the shore.
  315. It is so calm.
  316. So silent.
  317. So solemn.
  318. So pure.
  319. You see yourself in it.
  320. Reflected in it.
  321. Your whole body, upside down.
  322. Looking at you.
  323. With dreamy eyes.
  324. Dreamy eyes.
  325. Dream…
  326. Look at it.
  327. Look at your face, reflected in the lake.
  328. Careful [not too brutal, gentle]
  329. [giggling a bit, not mocking the listener]
  330. Oops…
  331. You stepped in the lake.
  332. No more reflection…
  333. But circles on the lake, going away from you.
  334. Telling to the lake, to the whole lake “He is here”
  335. Telling it, just with circles in the water.
  336. Under the moon…
  337. But, look.
  338. Isn’t that strange?
  339. Your feet are not wet.
  340. You can go into that lake…
  341. But, you don’t get wet.
  342. When you walk into it, you feel the water…
  343. It’s density…
  344. It’s resistance…
  345. But, you are not wet.
  346. You don’t float either:
  347. You are in the lake now.
  348. Knee high.
  349. Waist high.
  350. Neck high.
  351. Walking down into the lake…
  352. The water, pressing on you from every direction.
  353. But, gently.
  354. And, you don’t float…
  355. You are not wet.
  356. As if the lake wanted to welcome you.
  357. But not to bother you in any way.
  358. Can you breathe into it?
  359. You make a step down…
  360. And then, another…
  361. And now, you are under water…
  362. The water all around you…
  363. And you breathe in.
  364. And, it feels so good.
  365. It is not the air you breathe outside.
  366. But not water either.
  367. A gentle smell of clean water.
  368. Fresh water.
  369. Ripe with trout and char…
  370. Ripe with life…
  371. Clean.
  372. Pure.
  373. So clear.
  374. Dancing rays of moonlight illuminating it…
  375. A whole landscape underwater.
  376. Water plants growing between rocks.
  377. Little bubbles going up.
  378. And the light of the moon going down…
  379. …Into the lake.
  380. And this place makes you feel so good.
  381. You are seeing the beauty of this alien place.
  382. This underwater garden.
  383. You are breathing the beauty of this place.
  384. And it feels like breathing the moon itself.
  385. And a deep wave of contentment flows once again though you mind.
  386. [pause]
  387. And then,
  388. There is something else.
  389. Down, at the bottom of that lake.
  390. A bubble.
  391. A bubble of light
  392. A large bubble of light
  393. Waiting for you
  394. In the deepest point.
  395. In the center of that lake.
  396. It is waiting.
  397. Waiting for you.
  398. And you walk again…
  399. You walk toward this bubble.
  400. And, as you reach it.
  401. You feel the warmth of the light
  402. Inundating that bubble
  403. A light with the color of honey
  404. Dancing.
  405. Dancing inside the bubble.
  406. A light, only a fireplace can make.
  407. And you walk into that bubble.
  408. Your body out of water again.
  409. And dry, fresh, and sound.
  410. And then, you open your eyes.
  411. Why did you close them?
  412. The inside of this bubble is a room.
  413. A room with a bed in it, but, not just a bedroom.
  414. A nice bed, one of those bed you don’t just lie on.
  415. One of those bed that hug you.
  416. Whatever the way you lie on it, it feels so good.
  417. If feels like, it is just the right position.
  418. It feels like, it was made for it.
  419. And, in front of the bed, against the other wall,
  420. A nice fire, lighting the room.
  421. Gently cracking in the fireplace.
  422. And an armchair between them.
  423. Deep and soft.
  424. Made for long evenings.
  425. Reading books and listening to the storm outside…
  426. Wood paneled walls.
  427. And shelves covered in books.
  428. And, somewhere in the back, a computer.
  429. Not any computer.
  430. The kind that won’t lag.
  431. The kind that won’t let you down.
  432. A thinking machine.
  433. A machine to think, to draw, to write, to play, to code, to listen to music...
  434. To audios...
  435. A machine to do whatever you want.
  436. This place is so nice.
  437. So cozy.
  438. So perfect.
  439. The computer…
  440. The bed…
  441. The armchair…
  442. The fireplace…
  443. The shelves…
  444. The books…
  445. You start to look at the books.
  446. You read the titles on the spines.
  447. You open some of them.
  448. Who chose them?
  449. Who bought them?
  450. You feel so good in this room, so content, but you can’t stop asking yourself
  451. Who made this place?
  452. Who made this place possible?
  453. And then, you start to realize
  454. The title on the spines.
  455. They are the title of the books you read.
  456. Of the books you loved in your life.
  457. And stories you love,
  458. but didn't even know they existed in books.
  459. You go to the computer and turn it on.
  460. It asks for a password.
  461. You type your own password.
  462. The one no one else knows about.
  463. And it boots up.
  464. It starts.
  465. Nobody but you could have used this very password.
  466. You look back at the room…
  467. At the wood paneled walls…
  468. The windows…
  469. And the views on the lake.
  470. On the inside of the lake.
  471. Trout looking at you
  472. Through the windows…
  473. Are they jealous?
  474. They can be jealous.
  475. This place is your place.
  476. This is your place.
  477. This is your inner place.
  478. Where the deep roots of your mind can anchor themselves.
  479. And bring that freshness, that purity high into your head.
  480. That lake.
  481. The inside of that lake.
  482. The fire.
  483. The wood.
  484. The bed.
  485. The books.
  486. Everything you want.
  487. This is your place.
  488. That room.
  489. That bubble of silence.
  490. In this underwater garden.
  491. Dancing rays of moonlight illuminating it…
  492. In the lake.
  493. That clear crystal of life.
  494. In the forest.
  495. Ancient and majestic.
  496. In the starry night.
  497. All the stars.
  498. All the people.
  499. Looking at you.
  500. Dreamily.
  501. And you.
  502. Looking at them.
  503. From this room.
  504. From your room.
  505. From the inside of yourself.
