Ame vs Prole

Skimming intros. Saw these last round.

Shang vs Baymax

R1 Ame
- Baymax isn't much faster than a human. Shang is.
- Baymax "hits hard", but not so hard that Shang can't distribute it across his body. 5' x 10' concrete block feat.
- Shang has much better endurance and can chain hits to overwhelm Baymax.
- Shang is skilled.

R2 Prol
- Shang has speed antifeats. Baymax flies very fast.
- Hiro can use the metal in Shang's bracers to pull him with magnets.
- Shang has durability antifeats. Baymax punches him.
- Shang's striking sucks compared to Baymax's durability anyways.

R3 Ame
- Shang is fast, FTE hands.
- Shang's antifeats can be explained. Baymax has no speed, and neither does Hiro.
- Shang can tank being hit through walls. Some of his antifeats can be explained. "The blow did nothing to Shang"

R4 Prol
- Baymax is much faster than cars in his charges.
- Shang's impact dispersal feat still leaves him near-incapped.
- Shang's predictive vectors (breathing/muscles) don't work on a robot.
- Baymax's durability is way better than Shang's striking.
- The 5' x 10' feat is visually tiny.

R5 Ame
- Shang hits Baymax dozens to hundreds of times, weakening his armor.
- Hiro doesn't exist.

R6 Prol
- Shang's skill doesn't work on robots.
- Baymax accelerates quickly and is too durable for Shang.

ZET vs Usagi

R1 Ame
- Usagi has no durability. His sword cuts small amounts of material.
- ZET takes super bullets. ZET is fast.

R2 Prol
- ZET's bullet is an explosive, not a traditional bullet. He gets pierced in the RT.
- The "2x human speed" scan doesn't say that.
- Usagi has anime speed.

R3 Ame
- Super bullet is a super bullet. ZET doesn't glow when stabbed.
- The "got stabbed" antifeats are from weaker forms.
- ZET can blitz people from 20+ ft, most monsters in the series can blitz humans.

R4 Prol
- Usagi is fast. Cuts through huge logs.

R5 Ame
- ZET tanks super bullets. He can regrow limbs to counter Usagi. Sub-200 ms opening.

R6 Prol
- Usagi cuts redwoods. Blades =/= bullets. Usagi is fast.

Venom vs Gourry

R1 Ame
- Venom bites people's heads off. Has better offense than attacks that floor Gourry.
- Venom heals from piercing.
- Gourry's big physical attacks can't be spammed. Venom can take big hits anyways.
- Venom has ~100-120 ms reactions. Gourry throws just a few cuts in seconds.
- Venom uses his tendrils.

R2 Prol
- Gourry bisects, bypassing regen.
- Slow gravity is dumb.

R3 Ame
- Symbiote skin is thick and piercing resistant.
- Venom makes shields against swords. Shields that can block metal-piercing blades.
- Venom has 40~70 ms actions.
- Gourry's speed has a few antifeats.

R4 Prol
- Gourry's piercing is crazy good. The weapon Venom's shield blocks is not the rocket cut, which is gravity assisted. Venom is pierced by other symbiotes.
- Venom often chooses to tank hits from humans.
- Gourry's blade also cuts through stone. Cliff feat.
- Antifeats are gags and/or not really antifeats.

R5 Ame
- Symbiotes are solid chunks of super goop.
- Gourry is slower than Venom.

R6 Prol
- Gourry cuts much faster than Venom moves, and splits far more material in the process.

Shang vs Baymax

The dispersal scan obviously sucks. Its existence more or less concedes that a single hit from Baymax is all it takes to win this match.

Ame posting this made me audibly groan.

I think Hiro is irrelevant. I buy that. I don't buy that Shang is capable of hurting Baymax. Maybe if he lands "dozens or hundreds" of blows, sure. But Baymax is also airborne. Landing blows how? He's obviously more skilled than Baymax, but what does it matter?

Ame's only win condition here is that Baymax runs out of power. Baymax's win condition is that he hits Shang once with either his first or any of his ranged options or with his giant body that Shang doesn't have the strength to redirect.

ZET vs Usagi

Usagi wins. This is the only contentious match, I think.

ZET's bullet is clearly a bullet. On the flipside, though.

"Usagi merely decides upon and completes several complex actions in a tenth of a second, whereas my character is at least twice as fast as a human"

I think this is dumb. Usagi obviously has a speed advantage.

This said, swords are also not bullets, and Usagi's piercing is extremely good regardless. Probably good enough that it'd pierce even if ZET's bullet is "sharp".

This would be less contentious if, instead of calling into contention the nature of the bullet, Prol called into contention what the bullet is ~like~. Neither side provides any info on what the bullet is shaped like, just that it's "better".

Venom vs Gourry

Gourry wins.

He is clearly faster than Venom, slow gravity be damned. Even if he had no speed feats whatsoever he'd still win. His piercing is magnitudes better than anything Venom has ever done, and his physical durability isn't irrelevant. It's just bad. It's not as though Venom is capable of full body bisecting dodges to begin with.
