- -learn the "Hard, Golden Ending" speedrun for Persona 4 Golden as well as the Yumi Route speedrun for Shin Megami Tensei If and get a halfway decent time for both(10:30:00 for P4G and 1:50:00 for SMT If). SMT games were always huge turnoffs for me speedrun-wise because of how long the games are, with a lot of them being 9+ hour speedruns, but I finally decided to take the plunge after seeing Ghoul's and Mulsqi's P4G attempts and seeing just how much goes into the run. For SMT If, I just randomly decided to learn it since the run is fairly short.
- -Speaking of learning speedruns,Golden's 12 Hour Challenge is starting up again soon,with signups presumably starting right after AGDQ 2019 is done. I don't have any specific goals for this,besides finding good games for my attempt at the challenge.(UPDATE: I fulfilled this by learning Silent Hill 2 Any% and got my time in that down to 49:51 in-game time)
- -sub 2:00:00 in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 48 Tracks 150cc No Items. I'm incredibly close but I keep getting robbed of that goal time by really stupid stuff like accidental bonks.(UPDATE: Achieved on January 11th with a 1:58:21)
- -sub 1:15:00 in Super Mario Odyssey Any%
- -sub 50:00 in New Super Mario Bros. 2 Warpless
- -finally complete a Mario & Luigi Dream Team run with the new stuff that's been found for the game in the past few years.
- -Get my butt in gear for SGDQ 2019 submissions since plans for RPG Limit Break 2019 fell through. I've had a good past couple of years for SGDQ runs,with the highlight of those runs being I am Bread at SGDQ 2018,but I want 2019 to be one of my best years yet for marathon performances. Right now I have a solid list of games going that hopefully the GDQ games committee thinks at least one of them are worthy of a marathon appearance.
- -WR/sub 54:00 in Pandora Tomorrow Any%. Pandora Tomorrow has already been pushed really far as a speedrun by me and DirectorMusic, but the 54:16 that Director got the other day isn't the end of it. There's still a lot of strats not used in single segment runs that'll end up saving large chunks of time if made viable,in addition to optimizing the run more. Sub 50 by the end of 2019?(UPDATE: Achieved on January 8th with a 52:58) (UPDATE 2: SirKerchoo broke the sub 50 barrier with a 49:34 on March 10th, 2019, which is the current world record)
- -Speaking of Splinter Cell,I want to hopefully finish the project that I temporarily abandoned,and that is the Splinter Cell Hexalogy Speedrun. I'm starting on that again with Blacklist and then Double Agent and Chaos Theory after that. Potential tech issues with DA and CT may halt my progress on this,but I'll play that by ear.
- -1:30:00 RTA(around 1:06:00-1:08:00 without load times) for Shadow of the Tomb Raider Any%. I want to hit this before SGDQ 2019 submissions come around. Timing for Shadow is weird because it starts from a save file that's 12.5 minutes in and with a 12.5 minute offset accordingly,so the RTA time I listed is 12.5 minutes longer than how long the run would actually take. In this case,I want a run that's sub 1:18:00 RTA(without the intro stuff). I think I'm very capable of reaching this goal fairly quickly because there's only one out of bounds that really gives me trouble,with the other out of bounds tricks giving me trouble solely because of stupid mistakes.(UPDATE: Achieved on February 4th with a 1:08:50 without loading times, with further improvement to where I got 55:51 without load times (or 1:28:19 with loads/1:15:40 with loads without the intro stuff) )
- -1:33:xx without loads for The Evil Within 2 Any% NG+. I don't run The Evil Within 2 particularly seriously but it's still a fun speedrun so I figured I could go for it.
- -1:34:xx without loads for SOMA Any% Glitchless. If I manage to get this goal before SGDQ 2019 submissions I'll likely submit it.
- -WR(2:14:59 without load times or better)for Outlast 2 100%. Similar case to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where I'm really close to it and I could definitely get it,but stupid mistakes rob me of that chance. The run is relatively easy for me to execute,I just need to get good at a couple of enemy dodges and one hard out of bounds trick.(UPDATE: Achieved on March 18th with a 2:13:18 without load times)
