―BACKGROUND:
she had a strict upbringing and wasn’t allowed as much leeway as her friends were, but doesn’t hold that against her parents because she knows they just wanted what’s best for her. rich family, so while she had every comfort while growing up, she was also under constant pressure to do well. however, she liked being under pressure because she’s a perfectionist and it helped her perform better.
took a lot of extracurriculars as a kid (sport, dance, lots of language  classes). loves learning, but felt like she had to grow up faster compared to other kids. her respect towards her parents didn’t stop her from rebelling occasionally (especially during her college years in the US) but ultimately, she was the quiet, responsible type. however, a small part of her wishes her parents wouldn’t try to control her still, especially when she lived her entire childhood according to their rules.

she wasn’t really intending to become an agent for the kcia. she took foreign studies because it was something that had interested her from the start. she has a strong sense of justice but the decision to work towards becoming an agent was more spur-of-the-moment. she realized that she could do it with her smarts and once she got into it, she began to realize how much the work is suited for her, and how it makes her fulfilled. her parents are sceptical about it, but this is the one thing chaerin won’t let them decide for her. however, it makes her sad that they aren’t happy about the profession she chose.
