  she grew up in seoul, south korea. she was born on februaru O1, earlier than her brother by an hour. she and her brother were the exact definition of frenemies. both always fought for things but still loves each other dearly. both parents were teachers. they met when the father was working in the us for awhile. upon reaching the age of two, the bae family moved to new york to live with their mother's side of the family. everyone was very welcoming and the twin definitely had a blast living there. of course not forgetting about education, they were tutored at home by their aunts and uncles. they mostly conversed in english but would sometimes speak korean to their father. while growing up, the two shared a few similar interests - dancing, photography, the movie 'the lion king' and video games. one day when they were just thirteen years old, their parents suddenly announced about the abrupt move due to the job offer in korea. the twins were reluctant on leaving their family in new york but didn't complain.

⇢ she had just finished a meeting with the journalism club - thus texting her brother on where on earth he is. he had sent her the location of the cafe. she knew that the boy was lacking inspiration so that's the only explanation on why he's out at a cafe. when she found out where it is and saw it for herself, she loved it instantly.

⇢ she has a knack on learning new things and was also low on money. despite having money from her parents, she wanted to earn money for herself as her club is also needing some money asap. the girl's just trying to get some for her benefits. also because she promised the members a camping trip with a few other schools as a found exercise for all of them.

⇢ the boy had just moved from australia and knew no korean words whatsoever. since the girl was half-american, she decided to befriend the foreign boy. the boy was actually yunjin's seatmate, thus making felix being able to make not one, but two new friends ! from there on, yuna was in-charge of teaching the boy korean while yunjin was the one who'd play sports with him. through seeing how friendly the australian boy is, more classmates befriended him - often chatting when the bae twins is around, just to ask for help on translating. though there was one time where yuna was jealous felix was slowly hanging out with others more than her. she ignored felix for three days straight before the girl suddenly hugs him when he was getting tutored by yunjin, saying she misses him. felix often brings that incident up whenever to make the girl mad for the fun of it.
