Celeste's Prediction ability falls under this category, though it functions very differently from most. Rather than sensing something unseen, Prediction relies based on Celeste's senses of sight, hearing, and touch. It works more like a computer, taking in all available information down to the smallest detail- location, environment, posture, injuries, etc. emotional input- and interpreting it- body language, facial expression, tone of voice, and such. It combines that with what Celeste already knows, stuff like base stats [small](which are a thing in-universe, just less concrete)[/small], movepools, & physiology, as well as prior experience, like what moves have been used and how much damage they did, and uses that to produce her visions. Rather than one likely event, Celeste sees possible outcomes for each action, chains of cause and effect. Each outcome has a percent value for its probability of occurring. If an outcome is virtually impossible, Prediction will automatically pare it from the list.
