  14. Few services can allow that as it requires higher processing power - but you can start with https://www.linkresearchtools.com/seo-tools/link-audit/link-detox/ As for the cheaper option - you can always check links manually
  15. Thank you for the replay. But I have to say this is way too expensive for my small business.... I take in Bulgaria from a website for SEO 200 USD, I have to pay tax on that, I have to pay my own bills and office etc, There should be a winning for my co worker too... SO When I take 5 websites or 6 which we could work with at once maximum of 9... Motnhly we both have 400 USD of our own bills and not to say about those for the office and the small company.... so it is NOT reliable for a website to pay €359 ........... I mean.. seriously...... small business SEO for other small business.... not reliable at all for that high payd stuff..
  16. Manually to determin which is BAD is really a tuff tusk because there is NO TIME for that, most of the time if its old company but there is nothing up there except spammy links from someone called him self ''seo''..... If I have FIRST to find all dead or bad links if they are couple of tousand it will took more time and will take impact for fast results which in my country all wants because here the time is not only money.... but starving and loosing business because life is expensive and incoming is small specially for small businnes... Big business here are from people ex military, police, mafia, ex ceafs of some government in the pas, and verry small amount of all really started without nothing and got grown faster... But that as I sayd is rare... THAT is why i asked for free or cheapest and reliable bad link finder tool
  17. Have you checked seo quake or linkminer? These are free and rather handy plugins.
  18. Thanks, I wil check that one :)

  20. Mueller declined to associate poor link building practices with the update.
  21.
  22. He then discussed ways to deal with links from poor link building schemes. At the end of his response he circled back to the topic of links and the November 2020 Google update.
  23.
  24. Here is John Mueller’s second comment on the speculation about links and Google’s November update:
  25.
  26. “With regard to this general situation where you assume that an update has been affecting your site based on the links to your site, that’s something where I would tend to be a little bit cautious before jumping to conclusions.”
  27.
  28. Previous to this statement, Mueller had spent a couple minutes detailing three ways to deal with links from sketchy link building practices.
  29.
  30. Don’t Jump to Conclusion Regarding Links and November 2020 Google Update
  31.
  32. Then he returns to the topic of the update and warns against “jumping to conclusions” about a connection between links and the November update.
  33.
  34. It’s important to note that many sites have low quality links. So jumping to the conclusion that it’s the links could be the wrong approach because it may cover up the real reason why a site lost rankings.
  35.
  36. I have been working with clients affected by past updates who have jumped on the disavow train. They were disappointed that their site never left the station. After disavowing spammy links that they had nothing to do with, there was no improvement in
  37.
  38. rankings.
  39.
  40. And that lines up with what John Mueller advises.
  41.
  42. If the links are something you know about like widget links or “weird link building” then deal with it.
  43.
  44. In his closing remarks Mueller goes on to say that just because links are weird it doesn’t mean they’re negatively affecting your site.
  45.
  46. Mueller notes that spammy links happen all the time:
  47.
  48. “And really take a look at the links for your site to make sure that there’s really kind of a pattern of unnatural links there that is really problematic.
  49.
  50. It’s very easy to look at any website that’s been on the web for a longer period of time and to find a handful of… weird and unusual links.
  51.
  52. So that’s something where just because you find something weird doesn’t necessarily mean that those links are negatively affecting your site. It might just be that… usual kind of crusty links that get collected over the years. “
  53.
  54. “Weird and unusual links” are common. They happen all the time. So don’t jump to conclusions that this is associated with the update and explains why a site lost rankings.
  55.
  56. Watch Out for SEO Red Herrings
  57.
  58. There’s a concept in literature (and life) that’s called a red herring. A red herring is generally a suspect that seems like the obvious one that is guilty.
  59.
  60. In SEO, sites that lose rankings also tend to have technical problems like slow page speed or low quality links that are not from link building. But that’s true for high ranking sites.
  61. Because these issues are common across nearly all sites, it’s like there is no correlation, they’ are red herrings, the obvious suspects.
  62.
  63. John Mueller advises to not jump to conclusions. I agree. It’s good advice because it forces the publisher to keep looking beyond the obvious but incorrect suspect.

  72.
  73. I am a search marketer. I always do keyword research before launching any marketing campaign, I can’t help myself.
  74.
  75. When I hear that we got press coverage for something, I immediately look to see if we got a link and what page it pointed to.
  76.
  77. Search is literally in my blood.
  78.
  79. But, unfortunately, as a search marketer, I have drastically devalued the importance of building impressions for my brand.
  80.
  81. Everything I learned, practiced, and watched as I entered this industry, taught me that your sole job as a digital marketer is to drive traffic, leads, opportunities, deals, and revenue.
  82.
  83. And, if you want to be the best, you should be able to track it all. If you can’t track something it can’t be trusted or valued.
  84.
  85. This is the culture of search marketing in today’s marketplace and it’s wrong.
  86.
  87. We Forgot About Awareness
  88.
  89. As advertisers, we have the best targeting we have ever had available to us in the history of mankind.
  90.
  91. We can literally advertise to our exact persona.
  92.
  93. Yet, we insist on trying to drive leads and interest before we ever build awareness. It’s like we all somehow forgot the first part of the funnel.
  94.
  95. I know am guilty of this.
  96.
  97. I went five years without ever giving advertising for brand awareness even the slightest bat of my eye.
  98.
  99. Brand? Awareness? C’mon…I drive leads and revenue. Those ads don’t even get clicks, how could they be valuable. Seems like a waste of money. My client has limited budget, why would I take money away from revenue driving campaigns to drive
  100.
  101. awareness?
  102.
  103. That was my approach.
  104.
  105. Sound familiar?
  106.
  107. We have literally been brainwashed by our industry, clients, and managerial environment to think like this.
  108.
  109. The reality is that you need to be taking at least a small percent of your advertising budget to build awareness for your brand.
  110.
  111. My Journey From Revenue-Only to Brand-First
  112.
  113. So how did a guy who is obsessed with tracking, attribution, financial modeling, and lead generation become smitten by brand advertising?
  114.
  115. I became smitten by brand advertising because I succeeded at lead generation… and still failed.
  116.
  117. It goes all the way back to last year. I was working diligently to figure out how we could drive leads from paid social.
  118.
  119. We knew who our exact persona was and we wanted to turn them into leads so that our sales development and account executive team could turn them into opportunities, deals, and revenue.
