     KYUNGJOON IS THE epitome of a douchebag. He has no regard for other people’s feelings and only ever does anything that will benefit himself in the long run. He’s always bluntly speaking his mind without bothering to take into consideration what effect his words will have on those around him.  He is extremely stubborn and truly disregards the consequences of his words and actions, preferring to believe in living by his own rules and standards. He’s a very sarcastic and arrogant guy who carries himself with an air of confidence and intimidation surrounding him, his tattoos and resting bitch face helping him out on the intimidation factor. Kyung always wearing a charming yet mischievous smirk on his face that he often uses to get his way. Despite his well-known reputation for being an asshole, he’s quite the “ladies” man and always has people of both genders swooning over him.
     KYUNGJOON’S COLD EXTERIOR makes him seem like a mean and uncaring person. He is, for the most part, but he does have emotions and, yes, they are still functioning. While he doesn’t outwardly show it, he does care at least a little bit about his group members, only a little bit. He doesn’t care enough to even so much as hint at it but he cares enough to be effected if something serious were to happen and to be protective over them when it comes to antis. He shows the most of his more positive and caring emotions to DANCING KING, though he does have a huge soft spot for the maknae that he can’t quite explain, but he’s still more elusive than sasquatch when it comes to willingly sharing his thoughts and feelings. He’d honestly rather stab himself with a spark than open up to anyone, though he sometimes makes an exception for his smoking buddy.
     SEEMINGLY AS blank and reserved as his usual facial expression, Kyungjoon is actually quite talkative and always makes his presence in a room known. While what he says may not always be what anyone wants to hear, he always has something to say. He never keeps his mouth shut when it comes to giving his opinion. You don’t just get two cents with him, you get the whole damn dollar. He’s sarcastic and blunt words usually come off as harsh because he’s so brutally honest but he usually doesn’t mean to offend anyone by it. If he thinks you look bad, he’s gonna tell you so you don’t go around looking bad all day. In his opinion, he’s doing you a favor. He’s the go to man for honesty.
     KYUNGJOON IS A grade a asshole, which is pretty damn obvious by his cocky smirk and less than perfect track record, but he’s not a hardass. He knows how to let loose and have fun and he does so more often than you’d think. His idea of fun may be quite different compared to others but it’s fun nonetheless. While he usually does something illegal or scandalous, or both, for fun, he is willing to just chill with his group members in the dorm seeing as probably none of them would want to join him on his escapades. Although, his dangerous and rebellious actions have toned down quite a bit since he barely has the time for them anymore. Plus, he wouldn’t want his stupid adrenaline addiction to ruin his group’s chances in the industry.

backstory:
     KYUNGJOON WAS BORN and raised in Seoul, South Korea to a single mother. Growing up, his mother always struggled to make enough money to pay the rent and put food on the table. She worked numerous jobs but still somehow managed to make time for Kyungjoon though there were far too many nights where the young boy went to sleep in an empty home while she worked her ass off to provide for him. All Kang Mijoo wanted was to make her son happy and give him a home and food. Little did she know, her son had the same thoughts.
     DETERMINED TO HELP and provide for his mother, young Kyungjoon set out to find some way of making money. It’s not particularly easy for a kid to find work but he managed to get small tasks and earn a few bucks. These tasks gradually grew bigger and more serious until he found himself emerged in the underground as an errand boy. It was well-paying seeing as he had to keep a lot of secrets and handle a lot of things a ten-year-old shouldn’t be handling. The underground, although a harsh environment to those involved in it, became a second family for Kyungjoon with all the connections he had. During one of his typical errands, he had his first real exposure to rapping and took up an immediate interest in it. He had been giving every last cent of what he earned to his mom but, when decided to take up rapping, he took on even more little jobs to make enough to save for himself and give to his mom as well.
     EVENTUALLY, THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD KYUNGJOON earned enough money to purchase a cheap little recording set. He immediately hooked it up to his mom’s cheap laptop and got to using it. He had illegally downloaded an expensive recording and editing program on the laptop so he was all set to make his own raps. It was a little hard for him at first since he just did covers of songs but, soon enough, he was writing his own raps and buying blank CDs to make his first mixtape. Within a year or two, he was already gaining a name for himself as a rapper. People were impressed by his mixtapes, which he began making the most of his money off of, and some even asked him to write songs or raps for them. For him, the best part wasn’t his popularity. The best part was finally being able to provide for his mom. He was so happy to be able to hand her a wad of cash each week and be able to buy her nice gifts. All of the work was worth seeing his mom smile.
     WHEN KYUNGJOON TURNED sixteen, his mother finally sat him down to have a talk with him. He expected it to be about where he was getting all of the money he was bringing in but it wasn’t. His mother sat him down to finally break the news that, after a doctors appointment the week prior, it was confirmed that she had cancer. He had noticed her looking more sick and getting tired quicker over the past year or so and he got the money and begged her to go to the doctor. He hadn’t expected it to be something as serious as cancer and to say he was surprised was an understatement. He immediately told her to start the treatment but she kept refusing, saying it was too much money. Kyungjoon wouldn’t back down and eventually made her agree, already slinking off to his room to make phone calls to find even more work than what he already had.
     IT WAS A struggle, even for Kyungjoon, to pay for his mom’s treatment but he managed, sometimes begging the doctor to give him an extra few days to pay. Eventually, what he was bringing in wasn’t enough. He needed a higher paying job on top of the ones he already had. He hadn’t quit his rapping “career” in the underground so the seventeen-year-old’s reputation was still very well-known. Luckily, someone had heard of him and had connections to someone within an entertainment company who could land him an audition. He was reluctant at first but he eventually took up the offer and was soon standing in some random room with a bunch of other people in his nicest clothes as he rapped to the judges. The judges had been put off at first since he already had a few tattoos despite being only seventeen but they were impressed by his skill so they passed him to the next round. Round after round he went before he finally made it into the trainee program at eighteen years old, finally on the road to stardom and money.
     ALL THROUGHOUT HIS years as a trainee, Kyungjoon still continued to work in order to continue paying for his mother’s chemo treatment. This led to a lot of scandals arising since he was unaware he’d actually have fans who went out of their way to practically stalk him. When the first scandal of them all, one revolving around him dealing drugs, he was pretty surprised. He was normally really lowkey about the errands he ran in the underground but fans that followed him made it so much harder to get by with it. He ended up just denying it and picking new routes so that fans couldn’t follow him easily. That worked for a while until fans figured that out too and more scandals arose. At that point, Kyungjoon was sick and tired of it so he didn’t bother changing anything and went along with his errands as if he didn’t know he was being followed, having to find ways to shake them whenever he was dealing with shadier stuff and people.

     PRE-DEBUT DRUG SCANDAL | This was the first scandal Kyungjoon was involved in. While it was very much true seeing as he was packing more than just a few grams of weed, he denied everything to save his ass and his company’s ass. During that time, he also released a statement about his dislike for fans following him and making such accusations, asking them to stop doing so with the threat of leaving the industry before he’d even debuted.
     PRE-DEBUT TATTOO SCANDAL | It’s a well-known fact that tattoos are kinda illegal/taboo in South Korea so he wasn’t at all surprised by this scandal. He had gone into his usual shop to get a new tattoo and get a previous one filled and he’d been seen by fans. He didn’t deny this seeing as the new tattoo on his arm would prove he was lying but he didn’t give a statement on it either.
     PRE-DEBUT DRINKING/DATING SCANDAL | The same year he got accepted as a trainee, Kyungjoon was photographed going into a club a small group of people and later coming out with one of those people attached to his side. The fans that saw him claimed him and the other male were being flirty and were clearly drunk, stumbling down the sidewalk to the curb so they could hail a cab. He never said anything about this other than he wasn’t in a relationship, not confirming nor denying the underage drinking claims.
     PRE-DEBUT DRUG/TATTOO SCANDAL #2 | This time, the accusation wasn’t that he was dealing drugs, it was that he was doing drugs. Photos circulated the internet of him going into a tattoo and piercing shop and later coming out and sitting outside smoking a blunt with an unidentified man, a new tattoo on his arm and silencer glint in his mouth every time he opened it. Kyungjoon was an adult by then and didn’t deny anything, even sticking his tongue out to show off the tongue piercing he’d gotten that night before going about his business. There’s constantly photos new and old being posted of him smoking weed outside different places but there’s never been any proof that he does other drugs.
     — I didn’t put as many as I wanted to but just know he has a lot more drug scandals, dating scandals, and more. They’re all just a lot of the same concept of him being photographed doing it and him not saying anything because he doesn’t care anymore. He does deny dating scandals though because he doesn’t want that shit.

He’s always cooped up in his room with his entire recording setup or on the couch with his laptop in his lap and headphones over his ears. He’s constantly in a composer/producer mode and will subconsciously drum his fingers in different beats all day as he brainstorms.
     COLLECTING PLANTS | Okay, so, Kyungjoon is a total asshole with a badass reputation but he loves plants. He literally has so many of them around the dorm and in his room that he takes care of and he can name any and all facts over each one of them. Each plant he has is named, his favorites being a Venus Flytrap named Cujo and a little succulent named Finn, both of which stay in his room. Honestly, if his upbringing would’ve been different, he probably would’ve been a botanist.
     WORKING OUT | Kyungjoon works out whenever he gets the chance. He likes keeping his body in shape mostly for himself because it helps when it comes to errands. It makes him seem more intimidating and makes clients less likely to fuck with him. Additionally, fans love his body so he might as well keep working out to show it off to them.
     COLLECTING EARRINGS | Kyungjoon has his ears pierced so he likes getting new earrings whenever he has a chance. It’s often he’s gifted with them because he wears them so often.

     TOUCHING/PLAYING WITH HIS LIPS | Whenever Kyungjoon is just sitting there or is focused on something, he plays with his lips. He has no clue where this habit came from. It’s always just been a subconscious thing and he didn’t realize it until someone pointed it out to him.
     TOUCHING/PLAYING WITH HIS HAIR | Kyungjoon always messes with his hair whenever he is tired or stressed, both of which are his constant moods at this point. Additionally, he loves when people play with his hair. It’s totally his kink.
     DRUMMING HIS FINGERS ON THE NEAREST SURFACE | Kyungjoon always has different beats and new ideas forming in his head for new music for his group. He doesn’t carry his desktop, obviously, or laptop around with him so he usually just drums his fingers in a certain beat all day until he can get to his computer.

     SMOKING | Kyungjoon’s biggest and most prominent habit is smoking. He does it often to either a) relieve stress when he can’t do so sexually or through working out or b) whenever he’s trying to avoid something. At first, it started out as him just experimenting to be “cool” but, when he found he liked it a lot more than he should, he never dropped it and it soon became a habit for him to take smoke breaks.

     Kyungjoon is very intense on stage. When he gets in the zone, he looks like he belongs on the stage, like he owns it. His usual charming persona is so much more obvious on stage and he can be quite the tease with searing eye contact and a sexy smirk. He’s so much more energetic and passionate on stage compared to off of it, really showing the work he has put in to earn his place there.

     - Kyungjoon is 190 cm tall, around 6’2” or 6’3”. His height definitely came from his mom’s side of the family considering she’s a pretty tall woman, her height being 5’10”.
     - Kyungjoon is openly pansexual and doesn’t bother hiding his attraction towards someone. When he wants someone or something, he’s gonna get it. Luckily for him, his mother is perfectly okay with it, only wanting her son to be happy.
     - Kyungjoon didn’t have a father figure in his life throughout his childhood but he thinks he turned out just fine. Besides, he likes being the only man in the house because he knows his mother isn’t good around men and he doesn’t want her getting hurt by a man who isn’t patient with her.
     - Kyungjoon cannot sleep without a blanket. No matter how hot or cold it is, he always has a blanket on and just sticks his foot out of it whenever he needs to adjust his body temperature. He has been known to legitimately fight a person for a blanket before.
     - When Kyungjoon was a teenager, he took up boxing both as a work out and as an outlet for his emotions. He bottles a lot up so it’s good for him to let it out in a way that won’t harm anyone. Plus, it’s trained to him to be very capable of protecting himself if an errand ever goes wrong. While his extensive background in boxing helps make him more intimidating, he never really mentions it unless someone brings it up.
     - He tries to work out everyday despite his busy schedule. He usually makes time for it in the morning or late at night when he gets home, taking at least an hour to work out. His usual routine consists of 30 minutes of regular exercises and another 30 minutes of boxing. He has a hook on his ceiling especially for the punching bag he keeps in his closet.
     - Kyungjoon was a trainee for five years because his superiors kept postponing his debut thanks to his scandals. At first, he was going to debut as a solo artist but they changed their mind when the underage drinking scandal arose. Then, there were multiple occasions where they were going to debut him in a group but, again, they changed their minds. He got one more consideration to debut as a solo artist and was so close to doing so but they decided to debut him with Heartbreaker instead, immediately throwing him into that trainee mix.
     - He still makes and sells his mixtapes in the underground. He goes by the name K.Joon in the underground but most people know him as King, the underground errand boy who made it big from rapping.
     - Kyungjoon will swear up and down all day long that he hates cutesy songs, and he does, for the most part. But, when any Twice song comes on, he’s always up and dancing to it. He’s the biggest Twice fanboy and knows every dance by heart, as strange as it is seeing a 6’2”, tattooed man dancing around perfectly to Likey.
     - Kyungjoon has a dog name Min, who he loves with his entire being. That dog, along with all of his plants, is his baby and he will deny all of the bad stuff anyone has to say about him.
     - He often goes to visit his mom to make sure she’s taking her medicine and to see how her treatment is going. He still continues to give her the money to pay the bills and get food for herself, taking care of her medical bills by having them sent to him. Sometimes, he’ll bring his mom to the dorms to visit his group since she’s highkey adopted them all as her own, often cooking for them and sending it with Kyungjoon whenever she doesn’t go there. He’s extremely attached to her and is fiercely protective over her. He’ll fight anyone who dares to say anything remotely negative about her.
     - Dude, he literally loves his mom so much and respects her like no other. She’s always done so much for him and he appreciates it so much. Not to mention, she’s been nothing but understanding and open about the decisions he’s made. He’s an asshole to everyone except her. He would rather kill himself before he’d ever cuss at her, yell at her, or even so much as send her a malicious glance. He thinks she’s the most beautiful and amazing person to ever exist and he wants nothing more than to continue providing for her and paying her back for all the things she’s done and sacrificed for him.
     - Kyungjoon has a serious addiction to lollipops. Given, he does smoke a lot so that’s probably why but he doesn’t care. He’ll usually have one in his mouth whenever he’s working on new music and replaces it as soon as he’s done with it. His favorite lollipops are Dum Dums and Tootsie Pops, his favorite Dum Dum flavors being strawberry and green apple and his favorite Tootsie Pop flavor being original.
     - Kyungjoon taught himself how to speak English whenever he realized it’d be a cool addition to his raps when he was an underground rapper. He’s very good at it actually and could easily pull off being a native English speaker.

     - Kyungjoon brings his mom around a few days after her latest chemo session and all of the boys are just loving on her. She is absolutely basking in all of the attention she gets from all of the attractive young men. She cooks there for them that day and they all help her out since she’s still kind of tired and weak from treatment. All of the group members also get to see a different side of Kyungjoon that day since he’s so immersed in his mom and is actually being nice.
     - A recent dating scandal arises featuring Kyungjoon and his love interest gets pretty jealous about it, though not really saying anything at the beginning and just waiting for Kyungjoon to deny it like always.
