  87. ▄▄▀ ▐██▄
  88. ███ ███
  89. ███ In the past we used to protect our creations, but lately we have found ███
  90. ███ out, that even the most functional cryptationtools, have certain limits ███
  91. ███ when i comes to prevent it from stealing cpu resources. ███
  92. ███ ███
  93. ███ Furthermore we have noticed, that some people that use our releases, ███
  94. ███ sometimes have issues with our work being notified as dangerous, when ███
  95. ███ they run them on machines with certain antivirus, spam, spyware etc. ███
  96. ███ programs. Therefore we have decided to let our work, which is OUR work, ███
  97. ███ be as clean and direct as you can get it. ███
  98. ███ ███
  99. ███ Time went by, and The Leading Force wasn't living up to being The ███
  100. ███ Leading Force on the outside, then we do keep on working on "something" ███
  101. ███ within the group. And from time to time, release something to keep our ███
  102. ███ fans happy - and nobody knows what the future brings. ;-) ███
  103. ███ ███
  104. ███ While we do LOVE competition and challenges, so when new game iso ███
  105. ███ groups rise, they for sure get our attention, when it comes to their ███
  106. ███ work on emulating services as the wellknown Steam and Ubisoft ones. ███
  107. ███ ███
  108. ███ These "protections" are not hard to do, but damn time consuming to ███
  109. ███ build from the ground and up. ███
  110. ███ ███
  111. ███ Some of these "new" groups have borrowed Steam emu-code and ideas from ███
  112. ███ public places, and maybe even hired persons from these places too. ███
  113. ███ That would at least explain why there stille are tags from those places ███
  114. ███ inside their code. ███
  115. ███ ███
  116. ███ Then a group like CODEX comes into the scene doing Steam and recently ███
  117. ███ a Ubisoft protected game release - Trials.Fusion-CODEX. ███
  118. ███ ███
  119. ███ While looking inside their emulationcode, we discovered something that ███
  120. ███ was about to shock us completely. ███
  121. ███ ███
  122. ███ It was OUR work, OUR emulator, and CODEX must be stupid to think, that ███
  123. ███ we don't mark our code, but we had it clean on our screens, that CODEX ███
  124. ███ are theives of our Ubisoft emu. 99 procent of all their API calls in ███
  125. ███ the code is identical with ours. ███
  126. ███ ███
  127. ███ We did of course plant several "stealth" API calls, that identify and ███
  128. ███ tag our work. Yet those API calls are inside the CODEX emulation dlls. ███
  129. ███ ███
  130. ███ http://www.anonimg.com/img/831caf16ec0951cf88f9749b1fd569fa.jpg ███
  131. ███ ███
  132. ███ Link above show one, out of many proofs of stolen code. It shows the ███
  133. ███ original function written by the coder, using a global variable for ███
  134. ███ another function. Basicially the way the coder wrote the API, to set ███
  135. ███ the flag is unique, and simply copy and paste of our code by CODEX. ███
  136. ███ ███
  137. ███ To finalize their CODEX stupidity - they set the wrong parameter for ███
  138. ███ "CreateFile" API when it comes to "folders". We do use "GENERIC_READ", ███
  139. ███ cause of an important point, Windows simply don`t allow "GENERIC_ALL" ███
  140. ███ without admin rights. ███
  141. ███ ███
  142. ███ End of story! ███
