- Flesh of the Elements – The Tamori have learned to distill the essence of magic and contain it within concoctions or objects for later use. You may expend one spell slot to store a spell you know that has the Area of Effect “one target person” or “one target creature” in a potion, to be activated later. This stored spell may be activated instantly by anyone holding the potion by expending a Simple Action to drink it or a Complex Action to throw it (depending upon the spell’s target), using Athletics (Throwing) / Agility. Spells stored in this manner may be stored indefinitely, but count against your spell slots per day for each day that they continue to await activation.
- Creating a potion in this manner requires a number of hours equal to the stored spell’s Mastery Level. You also gain a Free Raise on any spell with the Craft keyword

- BACKSTORY:
- Seiko is a shugenja of the Tamori family, a bloodline rich with magical power and esoteric knowledge. Seiko's line in particular is trusted with certain knowledge of dark magics the clan finds useful to have on hand, but in general this burden has had little effect on her. Curiously, she's instead been assigned to a courtier's entourage at the behest of higher-ups in the clan. Whether this is intended as a preventative measure, or if clan elders have foreseen complications for their courtly efforts, only time will tell.
- Seiko is a friendly, knowledgeable young girl, with an intense curiosity counterbalanced with an idealism about her own role in the clan and the burden her family shares.
