The Mechanical Destructive Commando

The Mechanical Destructive Commando is the first of the group of XPLICIT supersoldiers that has been pioneered by COLOSSI. Like most prototypes, they are the least successful, though their true use lies in their status as a landmark to signify remarkable progress in testing. That's not to say that they're the first ever to be tested. Rather, they are the first survivor of the testing they have undergone, and subsequent soldiers have made improvements on this initial model.

Of course, this leaves them as a relic of times gone by, kind of like Windows 7 in 2022. A person can make do with Windows 7, though. You can do a lot of things with an outdated program. Even someone like the MDC is still useful on the basis that they are a powerful stand wielder whose combat prowess exceeds that of first-class average stand users. They are currently stationed at one of COLOSSI's bases in Algeria as a bodyguard to the most important person who happens to be visiting at the time, whether it's the division head, a Man at Work, or even the Sovereign themselves.

Irashati Shout, the user of Hortz Fer Dehn Stekhen West, is unique among the five fingers of death in that they do not pass the physical examinations required to become a top supersoldier. Well, to be more accurate, they used to be able to. However, the prototype XPLICIT they were given had unexpected side effects, causing their flesh to rapidly degrade until a COLOSSI member capable of controlling the infection arrived on the scene... at which point the damage had already been done. They are constantly on life support, with their body hooked up to a variety of machines that gave them the name 'Mechanical Destructive Commando' in the first place. While they would have been thrown out in any other situation, their perseverance, compliance with COLOSSI's orders, and their marked success in becoming a supersoldier allowed them to live and continue to operate.

Before they were the MDC, Irashati Shout was nothing more than a vagrant down on their luck. They sold drugs for a large criminal organization they had never heard about just to make ends meet, and each day, went to bed not knowing if they would wake up. Their life changed when they were "recognized" for their contributions to COLOSSI, and personally invited to their closest base. Unbeknownst to Iratashi, they were merely Subject No. 26 to the syndicate in their quest to permanently grant someone an XPLICIT ability. They were strapped down and tested on for hours... and when they developed a stand of their own, they barely had time to process the fact before they were put under for further testing. And when Irashati woke up, their flesh was undergoing rapidly accelerated necrosis, melting under the sheer weight of their stand. But still... they were alive.

While COLOSSI had expected to discount this as another failed experiment, Irashati surprised them by obeying their every command without question. They soon discovered that Irashati was not only a great leap in progress as far as stand development went, but they also retained a sound mind despite the horrific experience they had gone through; they were one of the only subjects at the time to achieve this status. Thus, they earned their place as the first of soon to be five supersoldiers.

However, powerful as COLOSSI is, they do not have mind readers on their side. The Mechanical Destructive Commando is well aware of how many lives the criminal syndicate has taken in their quest. How many innocent lives like theirs were laid down just so Irashati could find themselves in this state. Though they follow orders peacefully for now, their goal is to one day get close enough to the Sovereign to assassinate them. They have not succeeded yet.
